Very poor service from Local Toilet hire
While the toilets were delivered and collected on time. Cleaning of the toilets during the hire was disaster. Despite emphasising the importance of cleaning on an agreed day. They did not turn up to clean on that day. On chasing they confirmed it had been scheduled for the following day, but couldn't say why. The customer service rep to whom I spoke tried very hard to help, but was clearly working in a vacuum and had no support. In the end the best they could offer was cleaning first thing the following day with an early morning confirmation. Early morning confirmation was mid morning with indication we were the 9th stop on their schedule. Rubbish and we spend most of the day, push down the poo to try and make the toilets usable until Local Toilets.
As a footnote they promised to hold an urgent review of what went wrong and update me. This they have never done.
I don;t normally write reviews, but this was such bad service I felt I had to warn other potential users.

Always able to help
Always able to help, we have used Local Toilet Hire for years for our annual event. They always turn up on time to deliver them and take them away. Lots of loo roll in them and spotlessly clean.
Our only gripe is the disabled loo has not been as good, this year it was leaking. This has been reported and they have suggested next time we contact them asap so they can replace.

Fabulous company to deal with, clean and tidy loos
Excellent communication throughout the ordering process. Lauren was easy to deal with and very accommodating. The toilets were delivered and collected on time, by an excellent delivery company that telephoned as promised when they were half an hour away. The toilets were spotless when they arrived. Definitely recommend, we will use them again.

Unhygienic loo hire
The toilet arrived dirty with 3 small opened toilet rolls which I had to replace. The hand basin did not work, there was no soap or paper towels provided however as the sink did not work this did not matter.
I had to provide hand gel and wipes for my guests

To enable us to investigate any issues fairly and thoroughly, we ask that any complaints are raised as soon as possible after delivery or collection. Unfortunately, as this matter relates to an event that took place over two weeks ago, we are no longer in a position to carry out a meaningful investigation.
This means we are unable to verify the condition of the unit, the consumables supplied, or any reported faults at the time of hire.
We are sorry if you experienced the issues you have described. However, given the length of time that has passed, there is unfortunately nothing further we are able to do on this occasion.
We appreciate your feedback and will use it to remind customers of the importance of reporting any concerns immediately so that we have the opportunity to investigate and, where possible, resolve them during the hire period.

Over several months, they repeatedly failed to attend scheduled servicing, leaving our welfare units in an unsanitary condition. We had numerous conversations asking them to call us when they were en route so we could ensure access, but they never did. We later discovered they had our telephone number recorded incorrectly, which explains why we never received a single call.
Even when they did attend, the standard of service was extremely poor. The welfare units were often left looking much the same as before they arrived, with pieces of toilet roll left all over the floor. When I queried exactly what the service included, I was told they put toilet chemical in the toilet, but nothing else was actually cleaned. That certainly wasn't the level of service we were expecting or paying for.
After months of poor service, I called to cancel and made it very clear that we were terminating the service because we were unhappy. Ironically, after repeatedly failing to attend when they were supposed to, they managed to turn up the very next day and serviced one of the units after I had already cancelled.
When I called to raise this, Carla insisted my cancellation hadn't been made clear, despite the entire conversation being about ending the service due to our dissatisfaction. Rather than acknowledging the error, I found her attitude rude, condescending and dismissive.
Overall, the service was unreliable, the communication was poor, the quality of the work was unacceptable, and the customer service when things went wrong was even worse. We will certainly not be using this company again.

We understand how frustrating missed service visits and communication issues can be, particularly when they impact the condition of your welfare units.
While we do have procedures in place for scheduling, site access, and service delivery, it is clear from your review that your experience did not reflect the standard we aim to provide. We also regret that you were left feeling dissatisfied with how your concerns and cancellation were handled.
Following our discussions over the last week, it was established that our team had been attempting to contact the telephone number originally provided by a member of your team. During those conversations, it became apparent that the number we held was incorrect, and we were subsequently provided with the correct contact details.
We have reviewed the service history for each of your sites, and our records show the following:
• SK6 ***: Serviced on 17/06, 01/07 and 08/07. The visit on 24/06 was cancelled at your request as our driver was leaving site. The visit on 15/07 was unsuccessful as the driver attended but was unable to access the unit because it was locked.
• L23 *** / L37 ***: Serviced on 16/06 and 30/06. On 23/06 the unit was locked. On 07/07 and again on 13/07, following the site address change, the unit was not on site.
• L23 ***: The first visit on 16/06 was unsuccessful due to the unit being locked. The unit was then successfully serviced on 23/06, 30/06, 07/07 and 14/07.
• PR8 ***: The visit on 15/06 was unsuccessful as the unit was locked. The unit was serviced on 22/06 and 13/07. On 29/06 and 06/07 the unit was not on site.
• L34 ***: The unit was not on site on 08/07 but was successfully serviced on 15/07.
• L23 ***: One-off service completed successfully on 07/07.
Whilst we appreciate your feedback, our records indicate that a number of the missed visits were due to circumstances outside of our control, including units being locked, unavailable on site, or site address changes.
We also acknowledge that the incorrect contact number contributed to communication difficulties, and we appreciate this was frustrating for both parties.
We are always committed to providing a reliable service and regret that, despite our discussions and attempts to resolve the issues, we were unable to reach a satisfactory outcome in this instance.
We wish you all the best moving forward.
