Absolutely perfect
Absolutely perfect, very nice lady at the counter gave us a new car with 12000km, smelled new, clean, we took a trip to Alberobello(the other side of the Boot), and it was just a very good experience. No deposit needed, payed 90eur for the day, and returned full tank. Thank you, Locauto... Great, 5 stars.

We have been renting cars through another organization for years and ended up at Locauto based on the reviews. You do need a bit of patience to pick up and return your car because of the row, as the lady sits alone at the counter, but once it is your turn, everything runs very smoothly. They are honest about any existing damage and didn't give the pushy insurance sales pitch that I always hate. They were also very relaxed when returning the car. In short: worth repeating.

Dent / scratch disagreement
Dent / scratch disagreement, Locauto / Alamo rental from Napoli to Pisa. Scratch is charged for almost 500 euro without any documentation at all. This behaviour should be illegal. Be warned.

Takes a long time
We had to give all our information when we made reservations for the car online. When we arrived at the car rental it took about 45 minutes to get the car even though we were the only people there because we had to start from scratch: fill out form, the desk person was typing the information from the form into the computer etc.
