The customer service was excellent and very accommodating. The vehicle was clean, spacious and comfortable. We traveled from Rome to Florence, making several stops in different towns along the way. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end.

All was ok. Only when we picked up the car it was a long line, more than 10 people waiting to take the car. We lost 2 hours.

Easy check out and more importantly was easy to return to Rome airport at return. Had been concerned might have to do loops to find but good signage. Vehicle was new model and presented well.

Receive Different Group Car Than Paid For
I did not receive the car group that I selected and paid for. I was told I got an “upgrade,” but I would not consider it one. Car was clean and modern, just not the car group I selected. Booking process was easy. Pickup and return was quick and easy.

Good value for money, a few improvements needed
Overall a great experience and good value for money. Only two negatives were the 90 min wait time at Rome airport at the collection desk, this was not good. And the cleanliness of the car, this could have been cleaned inside and out.

Charged me 90 euro for around 10 liters of gasoline. There is no easy access to a gas station on the airport so the rental companies can make extra money by filling up the missing gas that you should have put in...

Regarding your final bill, as outlined in our Terms and Conditions on locautorent.com, the amount charged includes both the cost of the missing fuel and a fixed refueling service fee, which is applied whenever a car is returned without a full tank.

The car was as expected. The issue is the queuing to get the car was nearly 2 hours. This just isnt ok when paying the money we are.

My experience with Locauto, which is my first one, was absolutely amazing and very easy. From the first time of receiving the car in FCO to the drop off in MXP. The price for 12 days was very acceptable and perfect.
My car was Ford Kuga Hybrid, I'm telling you its the best choice for family. I drived for more than 1700 km in different directions, family of 5 and 2 large/2 medium/several small other luggages, and it was fantastic.
I'm recommending the company and the car.
