We had a really good experience
We had a really good experience, the only thing I would change is to get a highway pass in the car, we had 4 bad experiences trying to pay the toll in a highway in our trip, that could be avoided with a pass.

Poor dropping instructions
The car was ok. My main issue was regarding your instructions to reach out to the drop point. You marked on the map an unrelated spot, and when I navigated there, it kept me away 40 min from the airport. And put me under stress to reach my flight and inconvenience situation

First I rent a car and two days later I…
First I rent a car and two days later I got flat tire in the road . I called road assistance no one answered my calls . Then I had to pay money for some one to fix it. Then I took the car to return cause was not safe to drive. When I went to return it, they down grade my car to smaller one Manuel and etc. I accept only for the sake of safety . However two days later I went another shop next to my hotel to give me better car matching my payment . Then they told me they have to close the first contract and opened another contract . I have lost a lot of money because of your broken system sorry .

I'm no longer able to reply in their customer service portal so even if they're "inviting" me to respond I can't. Totally bogus company.
I picked up the car at Rome Prati. The agent didn't do the pre-check and I didn't ask for it (my fault).
When returning the car the agent "found" 2 small scratches which they claimed were new. I had no issues during my trip and have rented multiple times in Italy without any incident previously. I should have taken pictures/videos of the car during the check out.
I then was told I could sign a document stating that the pre check wasn't done. I raised a dispute with Locauto and they are now stating that by signing that document I agreed that the pre-check was done.
* Don't sign anything at checkout if they claim damage
* Take pictures and videos before taking your car
Their modus operandi appears to be trying to find damage and ripping people off. I'm being asked to pay €595 for small scratches, the assessment wasn't more than 30mins before I got the bill.

The delivery was really fast but it had an unexpected extra charge for insurance purposes that I wasn’t expecting. Also, when we went to give the car back there wasn’t anyone on the expected spot.
