After sales service is non-existent, have sent multiple enquiries re a faulty umbrella and have had no one contact me. Unbelievable for the price you are paying!

I fell and broke my umbrella. The website states they offer repair of their products (which I was very happy to pay for) however I emailed them four times and each time got no response after sending a photo after one was requested.

The umbrellas themselves are very nice, great quality, but the customer service absolutely sucks.

I tried to find a number to call instead, or an address so that I could go directly to the shop but there was nothing online. The email is still functional, as I initially received a reply to my query but was then ignored. On four occasions!!

Great quality and unique stick umbrella. As someone mentioned, interesting that English made umbrella shipped from Italy. Arrived within 7 days

I ordered a Chestnut root telescopic umbrella from Lockwood, which I wanted to offer to my dad for Christmas. Unfortunately, the umbrella did not look like the picture on the website so I had to return it after confirming with Lockwood that they could send another model as replacement. I posted the umbrella on December 23rd and NEVER heard back from the company, despite chasing them several times. They still owe me £150. Don’t purchase from this company.

I bought an umbrella from them. Pretty pricey - but assumed I was paying for quality and customer service. Their promise was 1 year guarantee to repair the umbrella if broken.

After maybe 10 uses, the mechanism broke. I contacted them. After months of being ignored via email (apparently the email system was broken. Weird that the person I was liaising with responded a few times then went quiet) then came back. They said they would repair it if I paid for shipping to Italy.

This ‘free repair’ is not.

Terrible terrible customer service

Avoid at all costs.

I ordered a bark Ash umbrella online at the beginning of December and it arrived (from Italy of all places) a few days before Christmas. I was very pleased with e excellent quality of the manufacture and the very strong frame - not something you see very often these days. Emailed communication from Moses was punctual, polite and very helpful. First rate customer service. So then. if it can be afforded, try a Lockwood solid stick umbrella and I don't think you'll be disappointed.

How disgraceful!

Contacted you several times about my son's umbrella. You took months to make it and weeks to reply to first emails. You are a disgrace to indipendant traiding. I have emailed you directly and through the web form several times explaining that there are white lines on the canopy of the umbrella, months before the "so called" warranty expired. I also explained that my son, aged 14 and has autism, saved up for month's for this and expected a product that cost £285 to last longer for a year! He will know longer use the umbrella and this causes him great distress.
Shame on you Moses, I will be taking this further.

Even though the shop is closed, Hayley and Russell were super helpful in sourcing the bottle I ordered for Father's Day and also went to extra mile to get it delivered in time for the weekend! Thank you!

Excellent and speedy customer service! The dispatch and delivering of the umbrella from England to Sweden was very fast. Great umbrella and very price-worthy. Definitely recommends this company.

A truly wonderful company to deal with. I bought the cheapest umbrella and it is still a first class product. It is far better than umbrellas I have paid double the price for in the past. There was small issue with shipping (not Lockwood's fault at all) and Edward went over and above to resolve it. I look forward to buying one of their bespoke umbrellas soon.

Would absolutely recommend Lockwood Umbrellas!

Lockwood don't make the cheapest umbrellas - but you absolutely get value for money! I've had other umbrellas turn inside out on me in a small breeze - with the Lockwood I feel confident to take it out when it's raining and blowing a gale (an absolute must for Scotland!). Yet, even though it is robust, the finish is exquisite and it remains a beautiful object.

Definitely think about getting a Lockwood for yourself - or as a gift for someone who appreciates good quality - it will last a lifetime!

Excellent craftsmanship, absolutely recommended

As someone who uses an umbrella frequently, it was time to buy one of the best. While there are several companies—including a few that've been in business for much longer—I chose Lockwood because I liked they way they added a new twist to the traditional stick umbrella with their trademark white canvas reinforcements on the inside and because I preferred the proofed cotton Lockwood uses instead of the polyester blends everyone else does, especially since I once had an umbrella made in Calcutta that was made of cotton and always thought it was a much more pleasant fabric to be carrying around.

Edward was quick to reply to the several emails with which I burdened him and shipped the umbrella to me in the States right away. I couldn't be more pleased with it. It's everything I hoped for. The quality is superb.
