I spent approximately $ 50k on Lodmell to have a trust created to protect assets. A divorce cost a lot upfront but I couldn't afford to pay alimony after retirement. Lodmell never told me I could be found in "civil contempt" for moving an account to his protection and I was. I was arrested and spent months in jail while trying to borrow money to meet the "purge" amount (which was larger than the original amount owed). Worse, Lodmell did not remember
his actions re: my accounts and made unusable recommendations. His appointment of Southpac as an offshore "trustee" was also a fiasco, with huge fees for signing a few documents, confusing facts and accounts while holding my money hostage. Don't be fooled by Lodmell's illusion of "Asset Protection".

As far as I know they're doing a good job. The problem is as a non-legal person, I need more assistance in making finite adjustments in my trust. I'm given verbal advise over the phone and left on my own to work it out when I ask questions. I always feel rushed or like an inconvenience when I call. Meanwhile, I'm paying $1100.00 per year for almost no service. I'm assuming that if something happened and I needed all the mechanisms contained in the trust it would work as advertised, but I don't know for sure. I'm considering taking a trip to Arizona for a sit-down to review my entire estate. I don't even know if that's possible.
