Every designer’s dream guide

Tom took a lot of time and care into this guide. He showed us example presentations, how to pitch our ideas and concepts to our clients and even what files to include for the clients. The book showed me the steps to designing a logo from start to finish. Tom also included little notes regarding colours, typography, shapes, etc., for developing a logo. This book also includes a couple of sample contracts that one could use as their own.

It's perfect for those who are still new to freelance work and need that first step. While this book aims at beginners, I believe that seasoned designers could use it as a refresher or a reference to look up some information fast. I really love it cause it isn't one of those designer books that are too thick with knowledge and take forever to find out about one piece of information.

I was also pleasantly surprised at the cost of the book vs what I received in return. It's hugely a great value. I sincerely recommend this guide to every designer since there is information that every designer can use.
