Logs are good
Logs are good & the delivery went well. However, the email I received saying the logs had been shipped, a week before the were due, did cause concern. Perhaps it should be changed to say "and will be delivered on the day you requested".

Excellent service and products
My first order with this local family company and will definitely be ordering from them from now on. Friendly and helpful, delivery was fast and beautifully packaged. Courteous and helpful delivery.
The delivery driver was very polite and keen to help put the pallet of logs in the right place for me. Having a motorised pallet mover was excellent and we got the logs (delivered on a new pallet) in the exact place we wanted them.
We haven’t used them yet but we are confident that they will do the job when the time comes!

Large Birch Crate
Birch logs as described. The ordering process was easy, especially as we have limited access to our property and were able to select this as part of the ordering process. The delivery was excellent. The logs burn great. Will definitely order from them again.

Order arrived in time
Order arrived in time. The pallets however contain a high proportion of small pieces, thin splits of wood. This is not a pallet containing exclusively logs. Fine for a burner but open fires less so and will burn through quickly. Estimated 30% by volume are small / thin splits.
Wood is dry and low moisture content. No need to buy kindling as above comment.

Too big
The ordering process and delivery were faultless yet again. Highly recommended for this aspect. However, these beech logs were not as good as the previous ash ones. Still well packed and super dry, but too big. I had to split about 25% of them down with an axe. That is not easy when you are nearing 80 years old especially with knotty beech. Some measured over 250mm in art least one dimension, well in excess of the 150mm claimed. Bottom line, yes I would still order again from this company.
