Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!

Disappointing Experience with Repeated Poor Customer Service
I am extremely disappointed with the repeated poor customer service at Lola’s Cakes. Despite being a loyal customer for some time, my recent experiences have been nothing short of frustrating and unacceptable.
I faced an unreasonably long wait time despite the store being relatively empty. The female staff seemed disorganized and inattentive, and when I was finally served, ( after her finished a personal chat with a friend behind the counter) the staff member was rude and dismissive. To make matters worse, when I asked for information about the birthday cake I bought and a spoon and napkins the staff responded in a condescending manner that needed to wait for another colleague to come later on for her to get the napkins and spoons, my question is if she is not ready to give a service why is open???
.Causing significant inconvenience for a special occasion.
Unfortunately, the staff's attitude remained unhelpful and unfriendly. Shockingly, my loyal point were added to the wrong account cos the staff couldn't be bothered to get my details right as a consequence when I asked for my receipt then she asked for my email and
realized that she had made a mistake the she told me to contact customer services due to her inability to do her job properly!
Then things got worse and really ruin a special occasion causing so much stress.
It is clear that Lola’s Cakes has serious issues with staff training, customer service. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and to receive a good customer service . Sadly, Lola’s Cakes has failed to meet these basic expectations on multiple occasions.
I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and works towards improving their service. Until then, I cannot recommend Lola’s Cakes to anyone looking for reliable and respectful service.

Sadly due to the interaction which caused stress to our team we are not able to discuss this further on Trustpilot but have in private emails with yourself.

Straightforward and easy process from ordering to collection. The cake was ready in good time for me to pick up, my small red velvet cake with personalised message was enjoyed by all! Thank you :)

I am sorry to hear that you found the cake to be too sweet.
Our buttercream icing used in the cake you have ordered is our sweetest option and perhaps might be too sweet for some.
In the future I can recommend trying our cakes decorated with cream cheese or mascarpone icing, such as our Red Velvet, Carrot Cake or Fresh Berry Cake, which are less sweet.

Friendly staff. Purchased large carrot birthday cake at Victoria Station. Bought small cupcake as taster would have been nice for that amount to be deducted if cake then bought but was told not possible. Think this should definitely be the case!!!
