The cake was delicious not too sweet or too much icing (though the icing was delicious too). Everyone ate and enjoyed it - kids and adults alike. The cake looked amazing too and caused quite a stir when we brought it out at the party. I added some extra toy tigers to the top as my son is a big fan.

I've ordered from Lola's previously and I'll be honest, the cake was dire. It was for a special occasion so I did find that ruined it. Fast forward to this time... My partner and I decided to try again, ordering a lemon and raspberry compote cake in the "Safari" design. We ordered the tall based on the information given on the site about how many guest this would feed. We also opted to have our cake delivered to our door. The driver who delivered it (unfortunately we didn't get his name) was very friendly and courteous, ensuring we were given a bag in case we were also transporting our cake elsewhere. The cake itself was perfectly decorated and well matched to the image on the site, the writing we'd chosen was perfectly written too. The important part? It was absolutely delicious and everyone loved it, especially the birthday boy. We had many compliments on the taste and the design so thank you!
