Lillie O’Brien established London Borough of Jam in 2011, following five years as pastry chef at St John Bread & Wine in London, United Kingdom. LBJ preserves are made in small batches and cooked for a shorter time compared to generic brands. The flavour is honest and unadulterated; it is fruit-driven, rather than sugar-driven. When tasting LBJ preserves you will always taste the fruit first followed by the sugar and a special complimentary flavour. We use natural, unrefined sugars and no commercial pectins. LBJ preserves contain no more than 4 ingredients and are dairy free & vegan. The preserves combine seasonal fruits – sourced in the UK, France, Italy and Spain – such as Victoria Plums, Greengages, Raspberries, Rhubarb and Seville Oranges with unusual additions such as bay leaf, cardamom, cocoa nibs, lemon verbena, wild fennel pollen and verjuice which we believe enhance the fruit flavours and maintain natural, respectful combinations. We can supply wholesale to cafes, restaurants and shops. We recommend serving LBJ spread upon toasted sourdough bread, mixed in bowls of hot porridge, or layered between cakes and as an accompaniment cheese. These have to be the best jams I've ever had. Really good service too. Arrived really quickly and well packaged. We're big fans of LBJ.

Just delicious jam!
London Borough of Jam is a staple in our house! The combination of flavours are just gorgeous! There is definitely no going back to supermarket jam, that’s for sure! Simply delicious 😋

Very yummy jam!
Very yummy jam! You can taste the fruit and they aren’t over sugared like some jams you get in the supermarket. This is my favourite go too for all xmas and birthday presents as well. Everyone loves the jams and they can also be used on a cheese platter. We will never go back to buying the stuff you get in the supermarket now. very happy 😊

I'm a London Borough of Jam fan
I'm a London Borough of Jam fan! It's so nice I've been known to eat it straight from the jar – it's that good! My favourite flavours are Rhubarb & Cardamom and Lemon & Vanilla marmalade, but I've loved everyone I have tried.

I absolutely love LBJ
I absolutely love LBJ, and every jam I've tried has exceeded my expectations. Perfect for breakfasts, perfect for presents, perfect overall!
I've bought from the shop and online, and I attended a jam making course a few years ago too, and thought it was excellent. So interesting, and great to spend time with founder Lilli who shared her expertise, and her bright and brilliant passion for jam with us all.
Raspberry and Hibiscus is a favourite. :)
