I had a really good pre sale experience with Jay, he was patience and explained me everything about the investment. Flawless!
All the other members of the team were also so kind and polite.
Based on my experience I would highly recommend them.

I have made a significant investment. And although the initial service was OK, now they have my money it's not so good.

I have no proof of cask ownership and no proof that the casks have been moved to the bonded warehouse as promised and keep getting fobbed off when I call.

If I didn't know better I am starting to think this is a scam.

Really helpful and friendly team who have guided us as first time buyers through the process of buying a number of casks. Easy going contact with no big sell. Would recommend. Thanks

Would highly recommend London Cask Traders. Rick Gayle was really informative, understood what our requirements were and built us the best portfolio to suit our budget. Didn’t feel hassled. Not satisfied with the investment :(

I can't say anything about post-sales since I did not get to that point.
I initially requested information through the website, and mentioned that I was just generally interested in learning more about the whiskey investment space and subsequent investment opportunity.
That was on the 24th July.
This was followed up with an email, after the call, which is normal protocol, understandable & obviously absolutely fine.
I was then emailed again on the 26th and called twice the same day. In that call I said I wanted to have some time to look into it and I wasn't going to be pressured into anything.
I was then called again on the 28th, and the 31st and texted again on the 31st and emailed on the 31st and both called and emailed again on the 2nd. During one of the calls I picked up again and was told "he knew I wasn't going to be pressured, but ..." to which I reiterated that "I wasn't going to be and that I please would like some time to look into things".
I then received another email today on the 7th saying he tried to reach me and "where do we go from here", to which I responded asking him to "please stop contacting me. I meant it both times when I said I wasn't going to be pressured into anything."
I then received a rude email saying it seemed "there is a misunderstanding. When you are ready and serious about whisky investments feel free to contact us. You mentioned once about being called and that was a while ago. It’s simply protocol to follow up on an enquiry. (...) Thanks for your time, I won’t waste your time or mine."
To be honest, to me this is just highly unprofessional and has completely turned me off it. I am still very much interested in the whiskey investment space and could see myself investing in it. However, it would definitely only be with a company that makes me feel like I can trust them and respects my time and wishes.

For my first purchase, I was well informed along every step. Very pleasant to deal with.

Communications are excellent. Questions and quires are answered by return. The "back room" staff are also first class ensuring there are no delays in getting the supporting documentation out to one. All in all a very smooth operation.

Communication was faultless. A complete newbie entered in to the world of whiskey investment and it was made easy and exciting. Highly recommended, thanks guys

Very good, first experience with whiskey investing, nice and friendly, I didn’t have huge amounts of cash to invest but it get found me a cask around £4K.
Free storage and insurance for 10 years.
I don’t know a great deal about whiskey but this investment has made me more aware and more interested in researching different whiskey, casks and types/brands of whiskey.
Saving up now for another cask to purchase.

I'm delighted to be making this positive review of LCT - I just wish I could have made it a little bit sooner.

Overall, I can highly recommend all staff in the company for their straight talking advice, accessibility in the event of queries, and simplicity of purchasing process.

Unfortunately, in my case there was a significant delay in the time between purchase and completion of the storage process. I don't believe this was entirely within their control, however there was no outbound communications about it throughout the entire process.

As a first time customer of theirs, this created a large amount of stress for me with whiskey being an un-regulated sector. They've always been patient with me during my multiple follow up phonecalls, but I would much rather they had been pro-active with a regular mailshot to me to let me know what was going on.
Overall, I will definitely be using them again, as I believe they have a prudent and innovative approach to whiskey brokering.

I've thought long and hard about publishing this feedback but I think the positives, net outweigh the negatives, and it will hopefully give people confidence that LCT are ultimately and honourable and safe company to do business with.

My first dip of my toe into the world of investment and I couldn't have done it any better than with this group of people. Oliver my portfolio manager is just brilliant, I can ask him any question and he is straight back with an answer, no matter how silly my questions are, nothing is too much for him. Also had the pleasure of speaking with Jack who was checking up on me as a first time investor. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company if you are looking to invest.

I can’t comment on the longevity as of yet as that will come in the future but the first contact and customer service has this far been very good. Very knowledgable and prompt in answering queries put to the team
