Deceptive shady practice

Quoted a price of £59 over the phone. When the locksmith arrived at the address he tried to pressure my family member who was one here own to pay over £300 as it was really "complicated".

When she said forget about it then, he was then able to find an easier way for £106.

I have no problem with paying £106 for a locksmith but the dishonest greedy behaviour is sickening.

Scam and Very Unprofessional

The locksmith did not give me an invoice upon changing the lock. I called back several times to receive one and every time a new person answered saying I will have to speak to the technician. Also they were extremely rude on the call saying “so what if you paid that much money”. Horrible customer. Yet to receive an invoice. Would not recommend this company.

Absolute SCAM

Absolute SCAM. I called as was locked out and SPECIFICALLY asked what the cost was and was quoted £50+VAT. Man came (admittedly quickly), and initially tried to claim the lock needed drilling - which It didn't (I know this as it has happened to us before and they just push a bent metal thing through the letterbox and open the inside handle - takes 2 seconds). I insisted and he did open the door as I had said but the final cost was £178 - because there was a £99 call out fee that conveniently hadn't been mentioned on the phone. When I called the switchboard number back to complain I got a "yes there is a call out fee, sorry about that". Totally unethical and unfair. AVOID THESE DISHONEST PEOPLE. I had specifically asked for the price as didn't want this to happen.
