Very professional and compassionate

Very professional and compassionate. My blood results were delayed, yet the team did everything they could to give reassurance that they would make the results available asap. The team really show they care. A personal call from the management was also a very compassionate touch. I would highly recommend this clinic!

If I could put 0 star I will

If I could put 0 star I will ,
Unfortunately come across this clinic at the very early stage of pregnancy.
It was actually that I didn’t want to wait to long for the scan from London hospital to confirm that we are having a baby .
We had the scan 140£ to tell us that look like ectopic pregnancy and that was actually even more scary than just waiting for the hospital scan . God bless us we had run to the emergency with all this information to confirm that everything looks just perfect.
I wouldn’t recommend!

Reply from London Pregnancy Clinic

Dear valued patient,

We’re sorry that your visit left you feeling anxious, and we’re pleased to hear your pregnancy is progressing well. We have reviewed your case in detail.

The facts of your visit:

- Gestational age at attendance: You attended at 5 weeks. Prior to booking, our website, specific booking page (with pregnancy calculator), patient information leaflet, and YouTube explainers all advise not to book reassurance scans before 7 weeks unless there is a medical indication. Very early scans are frequently inconclusive.
- Ultrasound findings: At 5 weeks it is often not possible to confirm the location of a pregnancy, even with high-end equipment. Your written report recorded “Pregnancy of Unknown Location (PUL)”.
What we did not say: At no point did our sonographer or your report diagnose an ectopic pregnancy.
- Safety-netting advice: Your report included standard wording: if you develop severe abdominal pain or heavy bleeding, attend A&E. This is routine when a PUL is found because ectopic pregnancy—though uncommon (around 1 in 90 pregnancies)—can be serious if symptoms occur. Providing this advice is precautionary, evidence-based protocol, not a diagnosis.

Equipment and protocol:
- We scan on Voluson ultrasound systems, widely regarded as a gold standard for obstetric imaging. Our sonographers are highly experienced with a wealth of NHS and private experience, as well as undergoing constant CPD and audits with our Medical Director.
- When a pregnancy cannot be located at this very early stage, our clinicians document accurately (PUL), provide clear safety-netting, and arrange appropriate follow-up. The assessment, report and advice you received were correct and consistent with best practice for a 5-week presentation.

Communication before and after the scan
- Before the appointment: We clearly state across all patient materials that reassurance scans are best from 7 weeks to avoid exactly this scenario—understandable expectations versus what ultrasound can show at 5 weeks.
- After the appointment: Our midwife spoke to you in length to follow up and offered a complimentary consultation and a rescan to support you and plan next steps.

We appreciate how stressful early pregnancy can be. However, the review’s characterisation—that we told you it was an ectopic pregnancy—is not accurate. Based on the records, our team acted appropriately and in good faith, following standard protocol for an early presentation where the pregnancy location cannot yet be confirmed.

If you would like to go through your report together or have any remaining concerns, please contact our clinic manager at info@londonpregnancy.com. We wish you a healthy and happy pregnancy ahead.

Best wishes,
London Pregnancy Clinic Team

She was also extremely thorough checking things again is she wasn’t sure. The screening options available are wide ranging as well depending on your wishes
