I DEEPLY REGRET hiring London Removals & Co. I chose them because I thought Vicky seemed friendly, but it was just a facade. Choosing them made me lose £1600.

I hired them for my move from London to Barcelona. They completely underquoted me - and I ended up paying 800 euros extra - 40% on top of my booking. I argued about this but they didn't care and charged me a lot more than the quotes I had from other companies for extra weight.

They told me my belongings would arrive in 2-4 days - in very rare cases 2 weeks. My stuff arrived 16 days after I told them I had found a new flat. so I had to pay two rents for 2 weeks, losing another 1000 pounds.

When our things finally did arrive, the boxes had been thrown on top of each other and were destroyed. My boyfriend's bike had been left outside for 2months, had some bird poop on the saddle and paint all over it.
All my lamps were destroyed and some of my dining plates. I emailed them right away to claim money through their insurance - and guess what? It's been two months and they've never replied. Stay away, they're scammers.

Scam! After agreeing on a specific service to move my belongings and paying the deposit. The company has attempted to allocate me less space than agreed upon. Once I requested the insurance documents that cover the transfer, they were not in line with the advertised insurance that was agreed upon. After refusal from the company to provide the service I signed up for, I requested reimboursement of my deposit of 150£ and they refused. I would strongly avoid this company. I lost money and did not move my belongings with them.

This company really scammed me, they took all my money.

They made a price for my transport which was 990 euro, they took my stuff and after a few days they told me that the price became more. Double the price we agreed on.

Before collecting my things, I send them a list with funiture and boxes. So they made a price beforehand. After they had my things, they told me to pay the extra money otherwise I was not able to get my things back.

I paid them, because I needed my things, so when my goods arrived… many of the funiture/ boxes where damaged.

It’s a horrible company, which is maffia and which is not honest.

Please don’t do this!

I feel very disappointed in this company.

This company use very unprofessional tactics to secure the business, once they have your belongings then the unmentioned VAT comes to light, then the weight is far more than agreed so they ask for high sums of money and you are trapped- pay or pay. I asked for collection from an additional address and they very nicely (during the sale pitch) agreed to do it but they used this and the fact that I took long to find the big sum of money requested after collection to justify delivering 11 days later than agreed. The sales person (Vicky) stopped being nice and blocked me from sending her messages as obviously I was left stranded with nothing to wear, prepare food etc. Then the "manager" Louis came to the scene (only via email and using a different company email address) and practically told me to stop bothering and stressing him as he already collected from an additional address and gave me a discount (meaning he reduced some money from the huge amount requested for the "additional" weight) No empathy, no concern - once they get their money you are useless to them so sit and wait for them to deliver when they feel like it.
They assured me the delivery was just for me but when the van arrived they had a second load going to Malaga. Also they said everything will be nicely wrapped but everything was full of dust and smelling of rodents. I would have never never entered into business with this company if I knew they use a third party once payment is made. PLEASE do not be fooled by a sweet talk from the sales person - They hide the VAT and hit you with it when is too late, they lied about who is really dealing with your move and they would blame you for everything they failed to deliver. I would give them a ZERO if it was possible. Companies like this should not be allowed to trade.
