If you're in need of speech training, look no further! I recently undertook training at the London Speech Workshop, and I have emerged with more confidence than ever before. The sessions were bespoke and provided me with various tools to improve my spoken communication. As a result, I now have a toolkit that will serve me well in any future presentations. I highly recommend London Speech Workshop to anyone wishing to enhance their spoken communication skills!

From my view, LSW provided a tailored communication and accent softening experience, always listening and ensuring my needs were met.
Originally, my employer sponsored a 10-hour sessions, and I had to switch my coach halfway through the course, which I have never regretted.

Arabella Gibbins is a truly professional, gifted, talented, organised, and inspiring coach who transformed my experience. As a result of our sessions, I learned so much and feel much more confident about my communication. I even asked for more sessions with her. I highly recommend Arabella!

I would also like to thank LSW's client success manager, Mia Papania, who supported all my needs throughout my experience and is very customer-oriented!

- Ensure a Clear Structure: Have a clear structure for your journey and lessons, and make sure your learning outcomes are well-defined. Your perfect coach will provide your lessons plan in advance, tailored to your needs.
- Commitment and Practice: This is a two-way commitment that requires consistent practice. Like learning anything new, you need to do your homework to get results.
- Self-Discovery Journey: Listen to and trust your feelings about what works best for you. Have fun!

Overall, I recommend London Speech Workshop and plan to continue working with them, because it is a great self-investment!

My coach, Emmy Broomfield, was incredibly helpful in getting me to read my book in a way that used the many tools available to add interest and variation to my speech. She also gave me invaluable advice on coping with radio interviews.

I came across LSW at a point when I knew I needed help with my communication skills but was not entirely sure whether I needed a coach. I booked a taster session to help me decide and feel very fortunate that Arabella Gibbins was the coach I was allocated. Bella is exceptionally good at determining what you need to work on (which for me proved to be different to what I thought – it can be easy to blame everything on ‘accent’ because it is easier to spot than tone, speed, expression) and will help you get there. She is a rare combination of somebody who has the academic knowledge of how the voice works, an ability to teach that effectively to those who do not, and the emotional intelligence to do so in a compassionate way. In hindsight, you absolutely cannot compare having a coach to the other types of courses I was considering before LSW – communication is the kind of skillset that needs personalised guidance and feedback. And while sessions follow a handbook, exercises can be adapted to your professional context, something I found extremely useful. More than helping me with practical application, the way Bella delivered the 10-session course has made me think differently about what effective communication looks like altogether and I am extremely grateful to her for that. I cannot recommend Arabella Gibbins and the LSW courses highly enough.

I had a fantastic coach with London Speech Workshop and through five sessions I significantly improved my public speaking skills and my confidence being on stage and in panels and got some fantastic tools for improving even further!

I've done several sessions on both accent softening but also off the cuff speech with Adam Rhys-Charles, and I can not put into words how immensely helpful the sessions were. Adam is such a dedicated professional, with a fantastic methodology and great personality, making it effortless and funny. Adam tailored each session for what I needed the most at the time, and wasn't afraid of trying new formats. Thanks to Christine's guidance, I felt more confident and aware of my own communication. Christine personalized her approach to my needs, giving me the chance to go away and practically put what I had learned into practice. Under the able guidance of Adam Rhys-Charles (my coach), we worked on a mixed programme in Effective Communication Skills and Accent Softening. I availed a package of 15 sessions. You have the flexibility to book the sessions on days/times that suit you (I completed the course in 15–20 weeks, give or take).

It was a journey of self-discovery, unlocking hidden potential and refining communication skills to new heights. What truly set this course apart was its emphasis on practical application. Through interactive exercises and real-world scenarios, I honed my ability to express thoughts with clarity and conviction. Adam’s personalised approach was tailored to my unique needs. He offered simple but effective tools and strategies which were easy to work with and practice at my own pace. Moreover, the constructive feedback provided by Adam fostered an environment of growth and camaraderie which propelled me towards excellence.

In just a short time, the course equipped me with valuable skills that have already made a significant impact on both my personal and professional life. I should point out that, in addition to the coaching, you must put in effort yourself and dedicate personal time to practice and work on exercises to see improvement. Adam was a really helpful and clear coach. He seemed to fit the content around my specific needs really well, and made me feel comfortable despite this being quite a scary process. i feel that this has move me significantly towards my goals of communicating more clearly and authentically

I worked with Adam to focus on accent softening and effective communication over a 15-week duration and had a great experience. Where I got the most ROI from my time with Adam was in the constructive feedback. It all started with Adam Rhys-Charles. The best experience of learning and coaching sessions I ever had. Adam is a professional tutor with a relevant background, a high engagement level and an encouraging approach.
The structure of the programme is very straightforward forward with the focus on the most critical gaps.
The school's material supports the whole programme and can be used effectively for revisions even after the programme.

After taking a taster session I decided to go all in and have 10 consultation sessions. Professionally learning those skills required for presentations and even generally speaking to a wider group, I have really found it immensely rewarding and can really see the difference at work. I worked with Natasha whom was an immense fountain of knowledge and literally opened up the matrix of what it takes to produce a good presentation. Professionally the feedback I have received since my sessions have all been so positive. If you really want to improve and fine tune your skills it’s an investment you won’t regret

Emmy is a wonderful coach and teacher.
She is very inspiring, made me work hard but at the same time being understanding and gentle and finding the right level and exercises to help me.
The method is well structured and easy to follow, and it has given me practical tools to use in my everyday life to become better at communicating.

I really enjoyed my 5 session with Ali. She was able to quickly pick up the areas I needed to work on and tailored the sessions around my needs.

The coaching pushed me out of my comfort zone in places (which is where you learn!) but always provided a safe environment to get it wrong and practice.

I've left the 5 sessions with some new skills and techniques and some key areas to continue working on and improving.
