We have been using Long Travel for many years whenever we want a holiday in Italy. For the past decade Laura has listened closely to what we are looking for and delivered every time. Her knowledge is extensive and her critique honest. We recommend her to everyone!
We are due to be going on holiday from 9 September to Italy and Long Travel are sending auto reminders for balance of monies or threatening they will cancel our holiday.
The holiday originally for 2020 has been pushed on twice, and I feel for them with EasyJet and Gatwick cancelling flights; but to send all p/calls to voice mail (3 left and unresponded to to date) and not answer emails is unforgiveably bad customer service.
Finally got in contact and it appears an email Long Travel "sent" never reached us.
All outstanding issues were seemingly sorted, but when documents were sent out - agreed changes had not been made. However these issues were sorted at considerable cost to Long Travel (about 10% of holiday value), and the accommodation they had arranged was superb. Rerating from 1 star to 3 stars.
After I sent them a message on their own webmail asking about availabilty and the price at a one of the hotels they represent, and which I've booked through them in the past, I received not even an acknowledgement. A follow up a few days later met the same fate. Two telephone calls to the number on their web site were recorded in different sectors of their voicemail, with both messages including my phone number for a reply. Their email keeps sending me offers, bt I can't believe that thy are syill in business. They seem totally incompetent.
