After getting phone call out of blue, i got switched without my knowledge.
Only knew about the switch when my existing supplier (edf) sent a final bill asking for a meter reading.
Apparently I'd been switched to Shell Energy and asked to see a contract of switching, which they could not provide. Now i find out Look After My Bills is owned by Go Co(go compare group).
EDF then instigated an Erroneous Transfer based on no switching contract being available.
14 months later and i'm still with Shell Energy, paying much more on a non fixed tarif!!
Be very wary of them, they work with smaller less solvent companies!

I signed up for Look After My Bills after seeing them on TV and initially saved over £300 annually, which was great. However, due to the current energy crisis, my supplier went bust, making the experience less satisfying. While Look After My Bills isn't to blame for the market's volatility, it has been a tough situation overall. Their communication has been good, and I hope they can help secure a better deal as things settle. Overall, my experience has been mixed, hence the 3-star rating.

Very very confused.....after seeing an article I was reminded about their appearance on Dragons den ...and thought this could be good for my parents....but looking at the site it now just seems to be a site with advice and tips?
Pretty good, saved me money
I've been pretty happy with this service, it saved me some money. Maybe they could improve the UX a bit...
Utterly horrendous experience
Utterly horrendous experience. All I did was try to get an idea of what savings if any I could make. As you do, I got a quotation, and the savings were like £15 a year which wasn’t worth my time, so I left it.
They ended up changing my supplier anyway, I contacted them and new company during the changeover to stop, but they didn’t. The new company then began undergoing bankruptcy so I was advised to not pay anything because it would get lost in the system, then nearly a year later I get a letter from British Gas telling me I owed a massive bill because they took over all the accounts. All that hassle, a jacked up DD and for what? Because I got a quotation (I never requested a changeover)
Communication is very poor, avoid this company.
Communication is very poor. I've contacted them several times regarding an error on my account. They offered to switch my energy company, I declined and I keep receiving debt collection letters from an energy company that I have never received services from. Look after my bills tried to set me up with them when I had already declined the offer. I'm trying to communicate with look after my bills to resolve this and they are not replying to any email correspondence. Avoid this company completely unprofessional and not supporting customers.
Given up….
So initially they switched me to an unknown company that were charging very little for energy pcm. Energy crises happened, company went bust and look after my bills (lamb) checked out.
My initial bills were £61 pcm and now £231 pcm as I was forced onto British Gas. Tried to contact them and received an auto reply. THE most annoying thing a company can do as it shows you don’t care anymore.
I receive emails which are a waste of time and informing me of accounts on how to save…. Yeah when I’m paying an extra £171 pcm 😂
The energy crises is not your fault but just think about it before you start sending out blanket nonsense and receiving 1* reviews

This is the note I sent to you 5 days ago, and you have IGNORED IT!!! I have asked you 3 times in 3 years to let me know how to contact your CEO, and you have refused. I WILL find him/her, and attach all correspondence. There can be no excuse for your incompetence.
Just to let you know: I've got a bagful of correspondence showing your Company's pathetic useless performance in your claim to Look After Clients' Bills!
I'm sending all off to Martin Lewis for his team to study.
Before sending, can you please give evidence of when you contacted your 'Clients' (eg me) advising that you have now ceased to provide the simple service of switching Clients' Energy Supplier to the best deals (which is what I was after before I stupidly believed your Company would monitor such costs for me!) I have obviously been employing the same Supplier for 18 months on the assumption that you would have periodically negotiated the best deal on the market for me......until I got your note below (and only then in response to my query):-
"31.3.23
Thanks for getting in touch,
Look After My Bills is currently not supporting Energy autoswitching. This means that even when there are cheaper deals available we won't be switching your energy deal automatically; you are in complete control of your energy account and we won’t be initiating or managing any switches for you even when more competitive tariffs return."
WHY HAVEN'T YOU ADVISED ME (AND THOUSANDS OF OTHERS) OF THIS? And why do you pretend to look after our bills?
Alan Cottrell

Not even worth 1 star I have been over paying with the wrong company for months , I have just managed to get a 12 month fixed rate £70 a month cheaper and that’s without the future 2 price rises , who do LMB actually work for I have a feeling it is the companies and not us , I am cross with myself for not checking it out earlier . Thanks for nothing LMB !

Shame to see the effect the energy crisis has had on this company through no fault of their own.
Sorry to see it go

Another Dragons Den business that turned out to be absolute cow poop - even trying to get my email address unsubscribed, just sends you a loop. The company should just fold as they will only exasperate the current energy crisis.

How can LMB have a "good" rating of 4.4? On this page alone, there are 18 Terrible ratings and only 2 - that's TWO 'good' ratings????

A most expensive way to “save money”.
To quote the email that accompanied our energy supplier switch, “From here on in, you don't need to lift a finger. With our service, you save money automatically.”
Well, what actually happened was that they set up a new energy supplier and the necessary direct debit, but didn’t ensure the old one was stopped. £2300 later and with the old supplier out of business, I’m wondering how we might retrieve our money…
