Lack of Commuication & poorly trained staff

A complete shambles at close of play. Without any announcement, access to the area behind the pavilion was barred & all non members were forced to exit the ground. I had arranged to meet people at The Time Bar at the close of play, and could easily have walked the other way round the ground, had Lords had the good sense & courtesy to communicate this new plan. However the security guard at the pavilion barrier told me that I could reenter at the Grace Gates so all should have been well. Wrong he was either lying or poorly trained as I was not able to re-enter at the Grace Gates. What a shoddy way to treat your customers. Everything at Lords is focused on members. Everyone else is treated like cattle.

I had the privilege of spending a truly exceptional day, partaking in a guided tour of the grounds and museum, followed by a luncheon in the players’ lounge. This unforgettable experience, generously gifted to me by my daughter-in-law, was an absolute pleasure and one that I will cherish.

Thank you Lords - wonderful place!

I went yesterday as the guest of a dear friend to watch the 100 women and mens matches.
If you've never been to Lords and ever have a chance to go - don't miss it! Even if you're not really into the game. It is the home of cricket - and a magical place . I'm fortunate enough to have been loads times with a very special man who was a member of the MCC for many years. It has an unrivalled charm and every member of staff is fantastic - making you feel welcome the moment you set foot through the gates. The day was only spoilt at the end by a very very abusive spectator who came and sat near us - and as they say - that's definitely not cricket!

Truly fabulous tour and lunch

Truly fabulous day having a tour of the ground and museum along with lunch in the players lounge. Bought as a present for my husband’s birthday but I enjoyed myself too!
