Rented out a Hilti mistakenly from Park Royal store but paid in Ladbrook grove so it was a bit a hassle calling back and forth, however Richard (Park royal) was excellent with dealing the issue as well the gentleman who served me in Ladbrook grove.
I ordered approx GBP 960 of permeable pavers on their website. At the time of ordering their system had the supplies and they took the money of my card and also gave me a delivery date. I then paid a builder and confirmed a date for installation this coming weekend. Just this morning I got an email from one of LBM's sales head that they cannot deliver and supplier won't supply for 8 weeks.
This has left me in a bind because i need to take a loss on the builder as well as order from some other vendor. The customer service agent at LBM (Ross) was not helpful in terms of atleast compensating me for the price differential if i buy from somewhere else. The agent offered me 20% off on a future purchase, which is quite useless to me, given this experience.
I would strongly recommend any new buyer to be very vary of LBM and take my experience in consideration. I think other large shops are atleast better in terms of customer service and compensation.
