Los Angeles Transfer and Storage provided terrible moving service for my move from California to North Carolina. They not only lost my new trek bicycle and a box with my Bose speakers in it, another one of my boxes ended up in DC to another client. Upon delivery My bronze sculpture was laying on the ground in the parking lot broken. The driver tried to charge me another $600 stating the 18 wheeler couldn't be driven close to my door, which that was a lie and I demanded that he pull up the 18-wheeler and he was able to do so. He also tried to charge me another $150 saying that it was more than 75 ft from the door.

When they picked up my stuff in California they came a day late and didn't call me to let me know they weren't coming on the schedule date. I asked why they didn't notify me on the revised pickup date and they said they had misplaced my paperwork. At this point, I initially wanted to cancel their service but had to vacate my apartment by a certain date and was unable to get another mover at the same price and at the last minute. Many of my plastic bins were destroyed and some of the boxes had holes in it..

The broker, Monster Inc, who I went through took me through another horrific ordeal. Losing my items and dealing with the various delays and frustrations has taught me I should have just sold my stuff and started from scratch.

I would never ever recommend either Monster Inc or budget Express moving and Storage Incorporated aka Los Angeles transfer and storage again. They tell you what you want to hear when they're getting your service but they're delivery sucks. They don't even deserve 1 star.

I would never use Los Angeles Transfer and Storage aka Budget Express Moving & Storage not Monster Movers again.

Because I didn't take out extra insurance they will now only give me $19 to replace a $350 bike.

I recently moved across country and Los Angeles Transfer and Storage was chosen by the brokerage to transport my property. I had never had contact with these people before. They picked up my furniture and informed me that the contract with the brokerage was no good and only their contact counted. So anything the brokerage company promised as far as pick up and delivery times and price quoted was out the door. They informed me they could add anything extra on to the contract including extra steps (literally * they counted their steps) and would charge me. Also any stairs etc would be extra (not what brokerage told me). They have a 21 business day window for delivery on their contract and I found out later they simply picked up my property and put it in storage for 21 days. I still do not have delivery of my property and it is over a month since pickup. I just recently have heard from their customer service saying my property is being scheduled (whatever that means). I have sat in an empty apt for a month when I was originally assured my furniture would be delivered within a day of my arrival to my new location. Please do NOT use these people. I don't know how they profit from storing your furniture with out your permission but apparently they profit somehow.
