Why pitch with us... Opened in 2017, Love2Stay is a Caravan and Motorhome Club Affiliated Site on the outskirts of Shrewsbury, Shropshire. A touring site and 'glamping' village, set in 22 acres of landscaped grounds close to the England-Wales border, it boasts sleek, modern architecture and superb facilities. Just a short drive from the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Love2Stay has 122 fully-serviced pitches. Wi-Fi is available for all guests throughout the site and attractions include outdoor yoga, a Pilates studio, a gym and wellness centre, a coffee shop / Italian pizzeria, outdoor barbecues and cooking fire pits, jogging and walking paths and even barefoot trails. The Shropshire touring site also features a separate dog walking area, a wooden adventure playground for children, on-site fishing, a BIOTOP natural swimming pool with water garden and heated outdoor hot springs, splashpool with beach and sun terrace. Whilst you may rarely venture out after pitching up because of the broad range of activities and facilities available, the medieval county town of Shrewsbury offers historic landmarks and an impressive range of independent shops, cafés and restaurants to explore. Ironbridge, home to the magnificent structure that spans the River Severn and gives the town its name, is less than 13 miles away, while other nearby attractions include the National Trust’s Attingham Park and Wroxeter Roman Vineyard. Whether you want to exercise, spend valuable time with family and friends, explore the area or simply relax and get away from it all, Love2Stay is a state-of-the-art site to suit all tastes. With enhanced protocols and guaranteed cleanliness standards to ensure heightened health and safety measures for guests seeking peace of mind at Love2Stay.

Immaculate site

Immaculate site, great for kids of all sizes as has plenty of activities, also (importantly for us) very dog friendly with an off lead agility area which is just about big enough for ball throwing, and plenty of pathways to walk along. The only thing missing is long dog walks, if you want anything more than a 20 minute stroll you'll need to get in the car. Handy to have both cafe and Salop Leisure on site, good retail park with supermarket 5 minutes drive away, so not too handy for motorhomes. Dog washing facility brilliant, as are human washing facilities! Only reason I dropped a star is lack of long dog walks and pubs without getting in car - otherwise a good child and dog friendly site. Highly recommended.

Amazing

What can I say, theres been so much effort put in the black barn cabin. Cabin it self was fully equipped, high end appliances in kitchen and bathroom, lots fine details are covered where other places have let you down, very unique stay and 100% worth every penny. Will be visiting again bring the extended family and friends this time,

Cleanliness

Everything we saw on our overnight stay was very good including the help setting up the caravan as my husband has a bad back. Lovely meal and fantastic staff in the restaurant, they couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant. I am disabled and was unable to find a disabled shower. That was the only thing missing. I managed in the lovely showers but needed handles.

Disappointed

Well we came home Saturday, and I have to say we were slightly disappointed.

We did not find the stay value for money, particularly for two people, and the website does not give enough information about the amenities or the surrounding area. We were advised that we could use the lake for paddle boarding after 5pm. This was one of the reasons we booked. However, we were dismayed to find that the ‘lake’ is nothing more than a large pond. It’s fine for beginners lessons, but not fit for much more.

The wash facilities, while very nice looking, were also limited. Only 1 hook in some of the shower cubicles, so nowhere to hang dry clothes separate to wet towels or raincoats. Nice body wash, but there was nowhere for one to rest one’s own should you require to use your own. I prefer my own shampoo and conditioner, but there was no shelf to accommodate this. Also nowhere to hang a wash scrunchie/flannel/wash mitt. There were no cubicles in which to have a private wash unless you paid extra. Nowhere to hang towels, wash bags, etc at the wash basins. No litter bins in the pitch area.

These are my observations after visiting many sites both in the UK and in main land Europe. We have stayed at sites where eco products were provided, including washing up liquid. Also sites with underfloor heating, lake etc. We are happy to pay extra for top class sites, and have on many a trip. However Love2stay fell short for us.

We were looking forward to staying as a treat, but felt slightly deflated. Due to the cost we were expecting more. £40 a night is a lot for a couple, but £60 for the Friday was far too much for what is provided. Maybe value for money for those with children, but certainly not for a couple. Maybe better value in the summer months when the pool etc can be enjoyed.

Absolutely fabulous.

Such clean and beautiful amenities.

Lots of activities on site for whatever the weather brings.

We are really glad that we upgraded to the Isabella Awning which was cosy and gave us lots more space.

Looking forward to visiting again.

We recently stayed at love2stay on a touring pitch, great site, been a few times and plan to visit again next year, site is quiet, clean and great resturant, food very good, lots to do, we have dogs so plenty of space to walk them and love the fact that the whole site is dog friendly including the resturant. Highly recommend a visit. Many thanks for a great stay and very friendly staff, see you next year. Tricia and Kevin Watt

Amazing site in the Midlands

This is a top class site we stayed for 3 nights Septt 2022 in our touring caravan. It is. 2 mins off the M54. Good size touring pitches, great facilitoes inc communal hot tubs, pizza oven, gas Bbq hire, beach area and heated splash pool, plus a natural pool. Cafe area which is licensed was open until 8pm. Spotless overall, toiletries supplied in the heated shower/toilet blocks which are super modern. If you dont have a caravan there are lovely safari tents and lodges to choose from. No shop on site, but Co op store is just a 2 minute drive away. Highly recommend a visit, the staff are lovely too. 10/10 we will be back! Thankyou L2S .

Good variety of activities

Good variety of activities, good location, good facilities but good ends here because the staff is completely oblivious/incompetent to advise on anything not related to where they work. Also big minus: sauna was off for 2 couple of days and the staff said that we have to ask them to switch it on! After asking them, they said it would be on for my entire stay yet to learn that it was off on the last day! Very annoying because one of my reasons to stay there was to enjoy sauna and it was not straightforward. Children under 16 was not allowed to a gym, which was another nasty surprise.

Great site for families!

We came across this site through the Caravan and Motorhome Club, so pleased we did.

~ Arrival - Simple and very welcoming. Lovely greetings from the staff.
~ Pitch - Very clean and spacious. So much easier with drinking tap and grey waste on the pitch too.
~ Facilities - The shower blocks are excellent, very modern, clean and spacious. Showers even had shampoo and shower gel on the wall.
~ Things to do - Live swimming pool (brilliant), with three hot tubs next to it (bliss). Kid's play park is fantastic and very big. Football field with goals and a man-made beach, both great for the kids. The activities provided were also excellent. My kids loved the bug building, t-shirt dye, cinema and pebble painting (additional cost). We didn't use the gym but it looked very good, as did the dog exercise/agility area.
~ Reception area - Very helpful and the food was really nice, although I did think that some of it was maybe a little on the expensive side.
~ Departure - Straight forward and loved the fact that you had until 1200. Most sites I have used have a departure time around 1000, which means it tends to be a bit of a rush on the morning.

I highly recommend Love2Stay and we will definitely be returning, despite the fact that it's quite a travel for us from County Durham in the North East. We also used local attractions which all of the family thought were great. Bewilderwood is fabulous and only 20 minutes drive from the site. Attingham Park is a National Trust site within a couple of miles of the site. This was also very good, with a couple of beautiful walks around the estate, as well as a great play area for the kids.

Alongside Clumber Park, Love2Stay Cheshire is our new favourite site.

Finally, Vicky on reception was so friendly and extremely helpful... thank you!

Poor for the money

Barely warm showers, water everywhere both in the toilet blocks which weren’t very clean and all round the pool/bar/reception area, had to step over a mound of birds poop to get into mens toilets not washed for a week! Bins only at reception to save anyone having to empty them resulting in a half mile walk to dispose of your rubbish! Simply not worth the money! Need to up their game!
