Cute idea but horrific customer service

I purchased a Lovebox for my wife as a Valentine’s Day gift and clearly received a defective unit as the setup process yielded an infinite loop that just kept bringing it back to the initial setup screen. I consider myself quite tech savvy and tried all sorts of tests before reaching out to support (different WiFi, setup via desktop browser vs multiple mobile devices, etc.). I then requested a replacement unit and at this point I have had 13 rounds of back and forth emails over 2 full weeks with them showcasing the same tests that I had already explained doing previously myself and have no resolution in sight. It’s unfathomable to me how they can be so slow to respond or so hesitant to follow through on a replacement unit.

BUYER BEWARE!!!

BUYER BEWARE!!!! Not a reputable company!! Purchased this item for my granddaughter and it worked fine "for a while" then it stopped. Just a blue screen that said says "connected to the server of love" and it never connects. I contacted the company and this was their response.. "Can you send me a screenshot of the configuration page where I can see your WiFi name, password, and the name you choose for your Lovebox?" Who ever gives out their WiFi name and PASSWORD!!!! They claim there is a two warranty on the item which I'm well within that timeframe. I responded back saying I will not share my WiFi name and PASSWORD, but would like a replacement unit since I'm within the warranty period... of course they stopped responding! Do yourself a favor and go with another "reputable" company that offers the same thing, just look for a web based photo frames that alert you when a new photo is added. Don't support a company that does not honor their warranties!

Love my lovebox

Cute idea, works great! The only downside is the subscription, but it's absolutely not a must. I bought my box in Sweden and had an issue with the vibration on the box. I emailed Lovebox and got help with the problem! Huge thanks to Victor at Lovebox for the help! ⭐️

DO NOT PAY for subscription

HORRENDOUS experience. DO NOT PAY for subscription. They refused to update the subscription to my correct email address and when I just asked for a refund instead, they also refused. Instead I had to create a NEW account under the wrong email address so I could use what I paid for. The online "help" documentation is grossly inaccurate and will just cause you more headaches. If you can find another product that serves the same purpose do that. HUGE mistake to give this company any money.

The Lovebox worked for a while but then…

The Lovebox worked for a while but then the wifi cut out. Then support told us our wifi name and password can’t contain any special characters? That’s the most ridiculous excuse I’ve ever heard for their poor engineering.

Customs too expensive, bad customer service

Terrible terrible service and also on delivery. The product is £130 which is already super expensive for a little box and I was asked to pay a sum of £202 on customs which was not paid for by the company. I returned the product and after some complaints they are willing to do a refund however they refunded £129 not £130. Not worth the debate. Took them long enough as well to ship the product, however, they state it in their website that it only takes a few days to arrive.

Ignoring emails

Unfortunately the product was not what my girlfriend and I expected so we wanted to make a return. I got a response on my sender email, after they asked for my order number they ignored my emails. Now I am still waiting for a response to return my order. I am afraid that they will ignore me till the return window has been closed. Worst customer service I know so far. I am still hoping that they will help me out.

Terrible customer service no help ignore issues and emails asking for help

They promised fast delivery 10 days later still not arrived. As it was for a present i tried to cancel to be informed they couldn't has it had been shipped. It hadn't been shipped i got notification the next day saying it had been shipped. So they lied. They then promised i could return it but sent the incorrect labels with out the information to pass customs. The courier couldn't take it. I have since sent over 20 emails and messaged through FB messenger and got no response. I should have been able to cancel as it wasn't shipped and there now ignoring me obviously hoping i go away or just keep they product. Brilliant product i wanted for a present worst customer service i have ever received.
