Life-changing experience

As a tech professional in a fast-paced environment, I was struggling with focus and memory, two skills I rely on daily. That’s why I joined the Lovebrain programme, and it has been a game-changer. By day 2, I was already using powerful memory techniques, and by day 3, my reading speed had doubled!

Lovebrain is the most effective and engaging self-development experience I have had. It was like being inside the best self-development lecture, podcast and book… all in one.

Francesca, Yousuf, and the team are truly inspiring; they guide you through a transformative journey that delivers real results. If you want to unlock your brain’s full potential, I highly recommend Lovebrain. It changed how I work and think!

Cohesive Sales Tactics - Avoid

I originally attended the free masterclass, it was excessively long with no breaks, and about an hour was spent trying to sell the course. I then got a call the next day, and was kept on the phone for 1hr 15mins, being asked very personal questions about my work, relationships, health and past traumas. They tried to paint this expensive, four day, in-person masterclass as "life changing", giving personal examples, all feeling very cult-like. They use cohesive control-like sales tactics, to trick you into paying appox £5000 for this course.... if you question it, they tell you you are not invested in your future, holding yourself back etc. Extremely manipulative and worrisome behaviour. The cost itself is also on a sliding scale, I was quoted 30% off due to my salary, and told if I paid today, it would be £4150. However, if I opted to split out my payments, an additional 5% "admin fee" would be placed on top - adding hundreds to the total cost. I felt pressured to sign up, so I did and they deducted the full amount from my account. I spent the rest of the day feeling very uneasy after the phone call, after sleeping on it, I emailed to say I'd like to pull out as I was still within the 2 week cooling off period. I then got an email back, requesting a call. I ignored this, but the next day, they still called, and I had to stand my ground and repeat that I would prefer not to engage and just get my money back. I felt very intimated and spoken down to, called a skeptic, and that being a skeptic was stopping me from going on the course and "changing my life"... I don't believe 4 days is enough to completely transform your life, and the content they teach is nothing special, it is readily available through other, cheaper sources. I would go as far as to say they prey on the weak.... vulnerable people desperate to change their lives, and specifically target those they believe have the funds to do so - the first sales rep admitted she had looked up my LinkedIn profile, I'm quite senior at my company so that may indicate a high level salary (which I don't have!). Please beware and steer clear, I really hope this review has helped

Lovebrain masterclass session

I recently attended a free 6 hour free masterclass at Lovebrain, and it was an incredibly insightful experience.

The masterclass session was well-structured, engaging, and packed with valuable knowledge. Francesca and Yusuf were knowledgeable and delivered complex ideas in a clear, practical manner, making the content accessible to all attendees.

What stood out to me the most was the interactive nature of the masterclass. The organisers encouraged participation, fostering a welcoming environment for questions and discussions. The resources provided were thorough and actionable, ensuring that attendees left with practical strategies and a deeper understanding of the subject matter.

Overall, I highly recommend Lovebrain masterclasses to anyone looking to enhance their expertise and gain new perspectives. It’s a fantastic opportunity to learn from industry experts in an engaging and accessible format.

I recently attended a Lovebrain masterclass

I recently attended a Lovebrain masterclass in London and wanted to share my experience, in case it helps others approach it with a critical eye. The day was positioned as a free learning experience, but it became clear very quickly that the end goal was to pressure attendees into signing up for a £5,000 four-day intensive course - promising total brain transformation, increased memory, and speed reading “up to 300% improvement.”

There were several red flags that gave me pause:
• Urgency & Emotional Pressure: We were told multiple times that we had to sign up today to get a special “grant” (which felt more like a sliding scale discount based on our income). I input £65k and was offered 40% off. A friend on £50k got 50%. It seemed engineered to make everyone feel “chosen.”
• Endurance Over Comfort: The event lasted from 1–7:30pm with only a 15-minute break, no time for lunch. Many attendees seemed physically uncomfortable, especially neurodiverse participants. It felt like the long, intense format was part of the sales tactic: if you’ve endured this long, you might as well see it through.
• Curated Appearances: Both main presenters were impeccably dressed in luxury fashion (Louboutins, Gucci), creating a visual contrast with many attendees - some of whom seemed vulnerable or financially stretched. This created a subtle power dynamic, reinforcing the idea that they had “made it,” and you could too - if you signed up.
• Suspicious Interactions: Throughout the day, overly enthusiastic “support” staff worked the crowd, asking personal questions and amplifying emotional highs. I even wondered if some “attendees” were planted to keep energy levels up or show how popular the program was. It felt performative.
• Science vs. Showmanship: A lot of what was presented was neuroscience-adjacent - fragments of concepts you could hear on free podcasts - but repackaged as proprietary wisdom. Claims like “flushing your amygdala” raised red flags. Some demos (like memory tests or speed reading feats) were impressive, but lacked context or proof of long-term value.

In hindsight, the structure resembled what psychologists call coercive influence: control of time, information, emotional states, and peer pressure. If this were framed as a motivational seminar with optional coaching, fine. But when positioned as scientific transformation for £5,000 with urgent sign-up windows and pseudo-grants? That feels exploitative.

If you’re considering it, I’d strongly encourage you to do independent research first. There are many tools, podcasts, and evidence-based methods out there - most of them far more accessible, transparent, and respectful of your time and agency.

I attended the 1 day masterclass

I attended the 1 day masterclass - elitist money making exercise. Hard sell for a course that costs thousands and only directed at those in executive positions (revealed at the end!).
Did not learn anything that you could not already easily find in a basic physiology/psychology book.
Waste of my day. What a shame, really disappointing.

Untrustworthy and disingenuous organisation

Huge red flags. Be careful parting with your money. My experience of lovebrain is they are untrustworthy and disingenuous. I attended a ‘masterclass’ which taught nothing and was just a 6 hour brainwash by ‘tutors’ who were condescending (‘does that make sense’ was asked dozens of times aswell as criticism of other professions such as manifestation techniques). In the entire day we were only permitted 1 x 15 minute break. The principles used were simple meditation/concentration techniques that can be easily learned for free without the several thousand pounds expenditure following which anyone would be competent to recite a list of random words (if indeed such a skill is ever needed). The day culminated in a very hard sell (we were told we had to sign up there and then to get a discounted price) yet any legitimate organisation would not employ such aggressive tactics and would encourage networking and reflection time. We were not encouraged to take notes, the content was rushed through making it impossible to take down, and we were told we would be sent the slides after the course. We were prevented from leaving the building until we had ‘signed out so we could receive the course notes’ but I understand this procedure was actually to enable them to claim an undisclosed grant for our attendance. Of course the slides have never arrived and having requested them on 4 separate occasions since the day Alice has repeatedly fobbed me off saying ‘they will be sent when they are ready’ with no genuine interest in assisting or fulfilling the promise, just a continuing hard sell by multiple messages and unsolicited phone calls (turns out you can sign up after the day). I attended this event as I was considering signing up my management team as a group event but the conduct of Lovebrain at and since the day has exposed their techniques and legitimacy as highly questionable and therefore unworthy.

Masterclass attendee

I attended a 1 day masterclass. I did not learn anything that you couldn't find in a basic psychology textbook, which all have a 1+ chapters on how memory works, essentially covering the same ground and more. The 'free' masterclass is an extended sales pitch for a course that costs thousands even with the 'half price' offer they try to sell to attendees. The masterclass was not 'free', as I sacrificed a day of my time for it. I was quite shocked at the aggressive sales pitch and very disappointed that my former university, UCL, would host these events. The UCL brand gives legitimacy to a business that is essentially profiteering from vulnerable people. It feels like a scam targetting people who may not understand how freely available the information found on this course is, and how wildly disproportionate the pricing is. You can take a very good evening course in psychology led by Drs of clinical psychology for a few hundred pounds.
The thousands that Lovebrain seek to charge customers is out of all proportion to the qualifications of those delivering the course; a man with a BA in neuroscience and a woman with no relevant qualifications at all.

For Interested College/Uni Students:

I’m a student on my gap year and I absolutely loved the experience. I strongly believe that after I put the methods in practice for at least 3 months, I’ll see improvement in my reading speed and comprehension, problem solving etc. This course is very holistic, you work on your learning, healing your traumas, and overall self development.

However, I would say that the methods taught are the same as those taught to you by accredited youtubers, study influencers, and teachers. So, if you’re are a competent College/Uni student, I would say that you can find the same methods online for free.

Donald

Donald - Artist/Musician - I came to LoveBrain because they claimed to improve FOCUS, READING Speed and MEMORY Retention, Comprehension and Recollection. These particular areas had plagued me and held me back for many years from reaching my goals and potential. The road ahead seemed so long but I was determined to make it. I kept throwing myself in at the deep end over the years, getting closer but not enough. Then I was invited by a friend to attended one of the LoveBrain Master Classes back in July 2023. I attended and was sold on the idea. I knew that if they could deliver on their promises then my life would change thereafter.
It would take a further 18 months before I was able to access a place on the 4 day course.
Honestly… my life has changed… it was worth the sacrifices made.
All areas ticked off, immediately I’ve seen significant improvements in all areas - my Focus Reading Memory and Comprehension

The first day after the 4 training days gave my most productive day ever. LoveBrain trainers Yusuf and Francesca are both elite and skilled in taking the students through the journey. IF YOU CAN TRUST THE PROCESS THEN YOUR IN FOR A REAL TREAT
They are supported by a great and dedicated LoveBrain team who are passionate and really invested as they have all undertaken the course themselves. I loved the fact that they had all learnt our names beforehand. Turning up to the Hotel Venue Foyer, then being greeted by name. Amazing

Enlightening entertaining powerful and practical

I am Jenny and I have worked in healthcare for some years. If you want to understand how your brain really works and how to use it, this is an amazing course.
I took this course to increase my mental skills. I was amazed to find myself developing speed reading, memory, focus and processing skills so quickly. It was brilliant to learn and understand much more about how my brain really works. It is only starting to sink in. I thought I knew what was holding me back but I realise now I had no idea! I found it an exhausting and emotional rollercoaster, but unmissable. I loved it and I am grateful for the wonderful, kind people presenting it. I am amazed how much Francesca, Yousuf and the wonderful facilitators (too many to name here) were able to teach me in only 4 days! I feel like a different person and my brain is spinning!

Lacking integrity and facts.

This organisation was pushy and gave inflated hard to prove statistics on their success rate. They claim 100% pass rate on their students testing their memory recall. But they are using their own tests - it would be more impressive if they tested students on national/International memory tests instead of their own. The male trainer was pushy over dramatic and kept asking us 'does that make sense' even for the basic simple concepts. He contradicted himself talking about how sleep is sooo important yet he and the other lead trainer would not sleep until everyone passed their tests as it was 'their baby'. The female trainer appeared more approachable but I noticed she wasnt around for the hard sell. Looks a bit weird when they arent unified in what they're doing. The male trainer told us there would be a Q&A but he would only answer questions from people who had enrolled onto the the 5K course and had to show him email confirmation!? No thinking time at all - very disappointing for the rest of us who had questions but couldn't ask as we didn't pay up. The organisation lacks integrity. 6 hrs and I went home without a single method to improve my memory. I learned how not to run a masterclass which as a lifecoach and someone planning a masterclass next month this was useful lol. I have studied a bit about NLP and lots on coaching so I'm savvy to the tactics employed here. It was the others who couldn't see what was really happening that were vulnerable I think. The male trainer rubbished manifestation and he said he didn't believe in hypnotherapy. He also suggested helping ppl via memory and focus alone but spoke nothing about emotional healing through therapy which is key.

A warning to the Public by an (actual) Neuroscientist

As a qualified neuroscientist and psychologist, I attended a Lovebrain masterclass with two colleagues—a licensed psychiatrist and a licensed therapist. What we experienced was profoundly alarming, both scientifically and ethically.

Outdated and Misleading Information

They have only two trainers, a male and a female, who are also the owners of the business. Their full names are listed on their website and the Companies House.
UPDATE: They are trying to pressure me to remove my report in every way possible. One of their claims is that I must not mention the trainers’ (and owners’) names, even though these names are publicly available. To address this, I am updating the report to exclude their exact names.

The session began with the female trainer, who had good presentation skills but delivered content that was outdated and misleading. For example, her explanation of memory completely ignored recent advancements in neuroscience. She used a reading test to demonstrate poor memory retention but failed to acknowledge that memory relies heavily on emotional engagement and relevance—an emotional manipulation tactic, not science.

When the male trainer and owner took the stage, the situation worsened. His presentation was riddled with scientific inaccuracies, misuse of terminology, and gross oversimplifications of complex topics. He spread misinformation about sleep, mindfulness, CBT, trauma, and serious mental health conditions. For example, he equated bipolar disorder to depression, minimizing the severity of both. These inaccuracies would be laughable if they weren’t so dangerous.

Unethical and Manipulative Practices

The male trainer and owner actively discouraged evidence-based interventions like therapy and medication, steering vulnerable individuals toward Lovebrain’s expensive workshops instead. At one point, he pretended to sob on stage about child abuse—an obvious and distasteful attempt at emotional manipulation. His presentation and engagement techniques were simply poor.

Their claims of affiliation with the NHS, Google, and Netflix were total inaccuracies. These organisations, all denied any relationship with Lovebrain. The use of the NHS logo and false affiliations is unethical and a clear attempt to deceive the public.

False Promises and Lack of Scientific Credibility

Lovebrain’s grandiose claims—like “flushing anxiety and depression in 4 days” or helping people “read 1,000 words per minute with full comprehension”—are not supported by any credible research. A review of university and scientific libraries revealed no accredited studies conducted by this company. If such methods were valid, they would be rigorously tested and implemented by public health bodies.

Their “memory tricks” are niche skills requiring extensive training and offer no real-world benefit for the average person. Charging a fee for memory or speed-reading training isn’t inherently wrong, but it does not justify Lovebrain’s inflated promises and unethical marketing.

Social Media and Reviews Censorship

When my colleagues tried to leave comments on Lovebrain’s Instagram warning others, their comments were deleted, and they were blocked. This silencing of dissent underscores the lack of transparency and accountability.
UPDATE: *They also tried with any means possible to have my review removed*

Conclusion

Lovebrain is a company with zero scientific credibility that preys on vulnerable individuals using unethical methods and misinformation to sell overpriced courses. Their actions are not only misleading but dangerous. I strongly advise staying away from this organization. I will be reporting them to the appropriate authorities for further investigation.

Stay informed, and don’t fall for their false promises.

"Free Masterclass" = £5k sales pitch.

I attended Lovebrain's free "masterclass" on December 15th in London. Their Instagram ad caught my attention having recently been diagnosed with a condition that could affect my memory and ability to focus. I attended hoping to learn something and with an open and curious mind.

Unfortunately what this actually is however is a six hour sales pitch, manipulating you to spend £5k on an exclusive mystery brain-training course.

They don't actually teach you anything of any substance during the day. Instead all you get is a sneak peak of what you could learn and just how amazing you'll feel once you spend £5k on their course - actually worth £10k, but available for half price if and only if you sign up before you leave of course. No time to think, take in the day, reflect, etc. Anyone with any sense of empathy or good intentions might say something like - I know this a lot to take in, go away, rest, think about it and come back to us, we'd love to have you. But not here, you need to decide right now, so we know you are serious and have what it takes of course, etc, etc. Oh and those people who left half way through, well it's because they are not ready, are overwhelmed by it all, or just don't understand, but not you, etc, etc. Of course it is much easier in hindsight to see through these things, which they know very well.

If you know anything about sales, you will see that they use every trick in the book to get you part with your money. Everything about the event is extremely calculated and manipulative, from how they seat you, the time schedule, playing on your insecurities, and the endless testimonials. I mean a six hour lecture with a 10 minute gap is just not how you get people to focus, absorb information, and hear what you have to say. But, it is how you get people tired, insecure, guard down, impulsive and more likely to part with their money.

They claim their methods are "100% guaranteed". Any academic will tell you that nothing can ever be 100% guaranteed and this is a sure sign of bullshit. And they point to the endless 5* reviews to dismiss negative reviews like this one. It is very easy to either use AI or pay people in poor countries to create fake reviews for you. Please take these with a pinch of salt.

Ask yourself, if you found a surefire way to 10x people's focus and attention (or other ludicrous promises they make) and genuinely wanted to help people, would you sell it at £5k a pop to a limited few, or offer it at a wider scale? Still make money by all means, but reaching more people, and crucially - allow your material to stand up to scrutiny and be built upon. This is what they want to avoid. Genuine academics share their findings with the world, they don't hoard them behind an artificially expensive paywall.

Please please save your time and money and avoid. Regaining mental sharpness is extremely alluring and they have identified a way to take advantage. They are well-practiced con-artists who want to prey on your insecurities and take your money. They used to be called Superbrain, expect they'll be called something else next.

I never knew how much I could love my brain until now – a true reset and mindset!

After hearing about Lovebrain from a previous attendee who had done the programme. I was curious, so, I joined the masterclass online. My notebook was a filled with so much content so I signed up for the Case Study. Being a late diagnosed Dyslexic / ADHD, l wanted to find something that would tap into those traits and enhance them more. My challenges; in short are mainly around poor short time memory, number dyslexia, poor phonetics, comprehension and reading. After saving up for a year, attending the Lovebrain course was more than I ever imagined. We worked through all the tools mentioned, but we had to work on knowing our brains, mindset and learning styles first. As a Co-Founder of Dot and Dash Consulting, and a Workshop Experience Designer and facilitator, this training was worth every second. I am looking forward to the ability to remember everyone's names, improving my workshops and making any training sessions more impactful from the techniques.

The results I achieved in just four days were way beyond mind-blowing. My reading speed improved by 3.8 times, something I never thought possible! Memory? I went from recalling only 2 out of 20 random words to a perfect 20/20. I also memorized long words and even mastered 50 digits of Pi, which has become a really fun game I now love to play. These tools have seamlessly become part of my daily life, and continue to be part of my every day.
My dyslexic / ADHD brain often left me with a “buzz brain” that would go off on tangents and made it difficult to focus or sleep effectively. I have had the best sleep since the course. Being neurodivergent limited so much of my day-to-day ability to learn efficiently. Now I know how my brain loves to learn, so I can feed it with what it needs. What I love about Lovebrain is how it gave me not just tools but also strategies tailored to my brain—to my way of thinking & learning. I’ve learned how to switch into focus mode, achieve clarity, and carry that mental balance throughout an entire day. Stress levels have reduced and have a sense of inner calm that I have not had before.
The course was intense at times, but the support I received from the crew was amazing. They were so patient and encouraging, helping me through the moments when I struggled. It was a safe space. because of this. Being part of a close group of people who were either on the same journey or going through the course together was incredibly impactful.
The Lovebrain community didn’t just end after the four days—it’s a lasting resource. The tools, techniques, and daily practices, along with the ongoing support of the cohort, continue to enrich my life. Which I am forever grateful to have now. Thank you Nov Cohort (big hugs).
The nature of our group allowed us to form strong connections and truly get to know one another. Hearing stories of progress and achievements from others in the group was both inspiring and motivating, helping me realise what’s possible for myself. This sense of community added deeper meaning to my own journey and made the experience even more rewarding.
Whether it’s speed reading (mastering getting faster), memory challenges, or the mindset and focus work, I can feel the difference Lovebrain has made.
This experience has changed how I approach life itself. It was more than a course—it was a mindset-shifting, game-changing super fun adventure that is just beginning. This course has given me an appreciation for the things I have in my life. Version 2.0 is emerging and shining.
Huge thanks to the Lovebrain team for building something so impactful.
Special Thank you Yousuf & Francesca and the wonderful team you have, truly grateful.
I'm recommending this already!
