I had few orders with them.
Oak thresholds: fantastic, speedy delivery
Beech skirting and architrave: I knew when I placed the order that they will not have so much stock, so they would have to prepare those so was expecting delays and that was built into the schedule. quality and finish were excellent. a couple of the straight lengths had minor knots. But nothing is perfect in life.
overall great experience, will be ordering the rest of the skirting soon.

Ordered three samples of the sapele in unfinished, lacquered, and oiled.
Loved the tone of the oiled, and ordered multiple lengths of sapele thresholds.
Wood arrived and the colour was not even close to the sample.
I emailed asking if there was an error or if they could provide advice on how I could get the wood to match the sample (darker), even attaching a picture to show the clear difference.
They said they wouldn't do anything as the wood grain varies, implying that was the issue, completely ignoring my request for advice and also trying to blame the colour difference on the wood grain.
I replied acknowledging their decision and again asked for advice and was ignored.
I paid extra to have the wood oiled and it was pointless.
I will have to stain the wood, as even with 5 coats of danish oil, it hasn't darkened like the sample.
I would have ordered a different wood had I known, so the sample service is a waste of time if it doesn't accurately reflect the end product.
Delivery was also delayed, with them cancelling on the day and rebooking for the following week.
Awful awful company
Awful awful company. Ordered £500 worth of oak trim and receievd an email saying the scheduling team would email me soon to give me an estimated delivery. 5 days later, still nothing. I rang customer service and was told that she was sorry and I would get an email by 5pm that day. Nothing. I wait until the next day, 3pm, nothing. Try calling again and cant get through. Im still om the phone now, its been ringing for an hour. This is the second time this exact thing has happened, too. I thought maybe the first time was just a one off. Now I realise theyre just a dreadful company. I would definitely avoid.

I ordered some kitchen skirting, but didn't hear anthing further. I called to chase and was then told they didn't have it in stock, and it would be three weeks etc etc. Cancelled order, money refunded. What is the point of accepting orders if you don't have the stock?
Good value but very poor communication/assistance after sales
So good price for the items we required. Order put in late November but it was slow in arriving despite messages of urgency (but it was in run up to Xmas). When order arrived in mid Dec. one piece of the oak trim was not straight and could not be used. Tried to contact through Live Chat but it wasn't available. Finally contacted by phone and was told my concern and need for replacement would go to technical team. Sent photos via email. No response for 2 weeks (16 Dec even though we needed it urgently). On 7th Jan received response saying it would be OK if instructions followed. The instructions were not relevant as it is a bespoke piece. It was an apologetic email but no offer to help. We had had a skilled carpenter on site who could not align the piece in Dec. I wrote again to sales on 10th Jan saying I was unhappy with their response and requested further advice/assistance. By 15th no response.
Although this company offers a good service at good value prices - the responses regarding orders and after sales are very slow and poor.

Very expensive for slow delivery. £12.99 for a 1m parcel which then takes a week to arrive.
Appalling company
Appalling company - I HateLoveSkirting. Ordered on 20/11/25, got an email saying with parcelforce in 24/11/25. It’s now 02/12/25 and there’s still no tracking showing. Urgently needed this and booked expecting them to stick to their 7day promise. They won’t reply to emails and I can’t get hold of them by phone. Go elsewhere as this feels fraudulent. Will have to get onto my bank to recover my money.
Edited to add - they use parcelforce - who are utter liars, apparently they tried to deliver yesterday at 2.11pm and said I was out - thing is I was working in the front garden at that time and they never attempted delivery, also my security cameras prove they didn’t try to deliver. Today they were supposed to deliver again but just had confirmation they can’t deliver today. Loveskirting will argue this isn’t their fault - except IT IS because they chose to use Parcelforce rather than a reliable and honest delivery company. Postage cost me £20 too! What a joke.
Overpriced and terrible delivery service.
This company is over priced. That's my fault for using them, I have a choice I know, but the quality of the timber is good.
However, the delivery service is the worst. I waited more than a week after tracking confirmed they had the goods for them to arrange shipment and tell me they wanted to deliver to my factory between 5:30 and 7:30 pm. Then there's no way to contact them. Horrible! Never again!
Not a good experience
4 Failed delivery attempts including taking a day off for the 4th "confirmed" delivery. Customer service - I was tempted to name the individual but decided against it - was useless at best, rude and unhelpful at worst. All I got was "it's the courier, these things happen", well, judging by the feedback left on here, these things do happen to Love Skiting customers on a regular basis! Order cancelled, 3 weeks wasted waiting for the goods. On the basis of my poor experience, I would avoid this company.
Frustrating delivery delays cause major challenge
I hope the wood I ordered will do the job I need it to do, but 2 weeks after placing the order I haven't received it yet. There was a period to prepare the wood, but I was told delivery would be a week ago and it didn't happen. Twice I've been told it will be arriving 'tomorrow' but it didn't turn up, and the tracking system is inadequate.

Delivery far too expensive and far too slow
Easy to order but delivery nearly cost a much as the product. Was expecting next day delivery for the price but nearly a week has passed and still no product coupled with unhelpful response from ‘customer service’. Would suggest a different supplier. I won’t use this company again.
Good quality mouldings
Good quality mouldings. Decided to order from this company as they seemed to be fair on price, placed my order and asked for delivered by date. They had good email communication all the way through and received my order ahead of time. The mouldings had been packaged up well and reached me in perfect condition

Time wasters
Time wasters. Spend ages choosing samples. Paid £20 for them - over three weeks later they still hadn’t posted them and then “promised” they would when I rang to check. I asked for a refund. Wish I had read the rubbish reviews first.
Look elsewhere
Do not use this company.
I ordered white primed thresholds for my new white floor. Happy that I could use them without painting them. When they were delivered they had been packaged with brown tape which when removed left a brown sticky residue on the white goods. I was expected to pay the return postage.
When new order arrived they had done the exact same packaging leaving brown sticky reside.
All customer service would say was very sorry for inconvenience. No refund of postage no goodwill gesture.
Certainly would not recommend.

Do not buy their oak threshold. We purchased 6, and 4 are unusable; they are more like a Banana than a threshold. We took pictures and emailed them and the answer we got was screw them down, and they will be ok, according to our chippy, that won't work as the bends are too much to pull down. Going to take legal action as you have to stand up to these companies, and kicking myself for not reading all the bad reviews, it's how they handle complaints that makes a good company clearly looking at how this company treats its customers I need say no more.
Ordered 3m length of oak for a window…
Ordered 3m length of oak for a window sill but when delivered the wood was warped that bad unable to fit.
Very poor customer service as would not accept return or replacement. Even after explain what was needed for. Just had some poor excuse about needing to be screwed to bend back into shape
Had previously ordered same piece of wood and was no issue. This one was clearly stored wrong but they wouldn’t admit it. Also part was one week late.
Stay well clear when ordering expensive pieces.
