The sign up process with Lovi is extremely confusing. I selected the USD19.99 and pressed continue and at automatically (in my mind) added an additional USD 39.99 AI subscription. The UX is NOT smooth and now I sit with no refund or reply from them except to say they've cancelled the subscription but I can still use it for a month. I don't want the USD39.99. It feels like I've been scammed into buying a product I didn't want.
I will update my review inlu when the refunds reflect in my accounts. As a result of this, it has cost me an additional USD7 in bank charges, which may not seem a lot to most people but with currency fluctuations, it is a lot here.

To acess their app first of all they dont provide otp with several attempts, now every month they are deducting 80 dollar with zero service i encourage people not to give card information or even pay by apple pay they just deduct from your card be aware

This is one of the most frustrating subscription experiences I have ever had.
I accidentally subscribed via the Lovi website, but access to the subscription is only possible through the app. From the very beginning, I was unable to log into the app. I reported this issue immediately and repeatedly via email.
While I initially received generic troubleshooting advice, it never resolved the problem. Despite clearly requesting multiple times that my account be closed and my subscription canceled, nothing happened. I cannot cancel the subscription myself because this is only possible via the app — which I cannot access.
As a result, my subscription has been automatically renewed for months, and I have been charged 40€ per month for a service I have never been able to use.
What is especially concerning is that my recent emails are being completely ignored. Preventing customers from canceling by restricting access to the only cancellation method, combined with a lack of customer support, feels highly unprofessional and raises serious concerns about consumer fairness.
I have documented my requests in writing since October and expect Lovi to finally take responsibility:
– cancel my subscription immediately
– deactivate my account
– and refund the charges for a service that was never accessible
I strongly advise potential customers to be cautious.

I didn’t realize that what I was ordering was simply and app and some recommendations, I thought that it was for actual skincare products. I was unsatisfied, reached out to Lovi and they refunded me within 24 hours.
While this isn’t a subscription for me; I do think that their customer service is doing an amazing job and I appreciate a company that will stand behind what they value.

I was wrong, i picked a long term subscription instead a 1 day trial to figure out how the skincare program would have worked. I sent an e-mail back asking for a step back from one expensive subscription into a cheaper one. They made it better: they are going to give all my money back. Thank you do much lovi!

I was confused by the sign up process and thought it included some sort of product per month, but it is just for the app recommendations. However I have to say I emailed straight away to the team requesting a refund and cancelled my subscription on the app and they have confirmed my refund is on the way. So good efficient customer service, maybe just make costs clear on the sign up and what extras will need to be paid for on top of subscription :)

The suggestions from this app are brilliant. I bought all the recommended products and they work amazingly. The app helped me fix my skin issues in just a few weeks, which took me years to figure out on my own. I think it would be great if there was an option to pay a one-time fee for the initial personalized results, with a subscription available for ongoing use.

The app is extremely confusing. For the price that you’re paying you would think you’re getting samples of different creams for your face. I was completely shocked to find that somehow I was billed twice. I knew I pressed the first button to accept the subscription, but then don’t know how I did the second button. Now for the exciting part, I emailed them Christmas Eve about canceling the subscription and a full refund and within hours I received an email stating no problem. They apologize and immediately let me know. I would get my refund within five days. I was ready for a fight but the company came through like a champ. I truly love the concept of this app. The price is ridiculous for no samples you’re just giving us directions on what to try. I love the AI and facial scan, but I think there’s some extra work that needs to be done in order to take this app to the next level. I gave it four stars for the potential I see in it and the quick response to getting my money back.

Firstly, I want to say that I noticed the last upgrade to the Lovi algorithm. I really appreciate that the app now only shows product links for items that are purchasable in my country. This really improved the overall app experience.
However, there is still an issue in the personalized skincare routine section. In my routine, the app recommends products; especially under “alternatives”; that are not available in my region. For example, in Step 4 (SPF), the recommended sunscreen is not purchasable where I live, and the same applies to the suggested alternatives.
As a result, the algorithm sometimes recommends only products that cannot be purchased in my country.It is a bit confusing. While this isn’t a major problem, it’s like a small pebble in the shoe.
Easy to overlook, but it still affects how smooth the overall experience feels.
I hope this feedback is useful and helps improving the app.

I really am extremely grateful and happy I found this app. It’s one of the first apps ever I find to be very useful and I actually use every day. I use this app when I’m shopping in stores like Marshalls and Burlington when they have a large variety of namebrand and offbrand products so I use the app scanning section to scan product to see what works for me, which is with the whole point of using the app and I really love it
