Amazing overall customer service

Today I got my nose pierced for the first time by Charlie the Assistant manager who is a very nice and personable person. We had a great conversation while she was doing my pearcing and she had also recommended earrings that really suited me. I will definitely be going again as I believe the customer service is amazing and their advice on what earrings to wear is too.

I was helped by a sales lady

I was helped by a sales lady, shown the real silver PVD stainless steel sleepers earrings and purchased three for $25. They were $15 each otherwise. Two pair were identical and the third pair for different. The two identical pairs are a bigger diameter than the third pair, which has a traditional piercing wire diameter that goes through your ear. The two bigger diameter pairs being sleepers have no wire. They open and you put it through the hole. I now feel like I have baby gauges. The two pair I purchased that are the same we’re supposed to go side-by-side, but because I am having to get used to wearing such a larger gauge diameter in my ear I can’t wear them both at the same time. The first pair are making my ears sore. I brought them back without wearing them for return at the store only to find out that if you purchase something at their store it’s nonrefundable if it has anything to do with piercings, worn or not worn. You bought it you own it if you got it at their Store. If you buy online they will do an in-store credit exchange type situation like Goodwill. You don’t ever get your money back. I am way more OK with that at Goodwill than I am at this store. I can’t find another store that won’t return earrings because of sanitary concerns. I will never make another purchase from this company again due to their return policy. Once you give them your money, you have to be satisfied with another product or the original product. That’s all they’ll do. So here’s my review of my sore ears and no refund from the sales lady at the arrowhead Mall Lovisa store.

Horrible experience

Terrible service. Very expensive when they boast “free piercing”. I payed 70$. It got infected almost immediately. The infection was so bad that the stud got imbedded deep into the skin. They didn’t offer any refunds. I would never get pierced there again. Save your money.

This place sucks never going back they were very rude especially manager

OMG this place is terrible never in your life go there with in 2 days all the jewelry I bought turned my fingers green tarnished and broke that I had to fix it my self with pliers 😡😡😡 and then I tried to return it by the way I spend 168.35$$$ at this store and the manager of square one shopping centre at the time of about 3:30 was terrible and would only offer me an exchange for $70 worth of products wasted my money and now don't have enough to buy anything from another store. Terrible no stars never going back terrible manager etc stay away

I loved lovisa personally I went there…

I loved lovisa personally I went there today and this girl did my seconds and she did an excellent job! She was very kind and tried her best to make everything perfect, even got a little baggy with a jewlery cleaner in it and instructions on after care! Overall best time getting my ears pierced!

Love this jewellery store

Love this jewellery store. Met manager Katie who usually runs Preston store, she helped me immensely, came out saving well over £60. She took her time to show me the style of earrings I was looking for and nose rings. It was her last day but she still gave her 110% to customer care.

Wish her all the best in her endeavours, a lovely sales woman.

Its upsetting that i had to write this…

Its upsetting that i had to write this review because the workers were nice but i wouldn´t recommend getting anything pierced here. I had my nose pierced here and i wasn´t given the proper instructions on after care. i was only told to use the after care spray and press the piercing down if the flesh rejects it. the next day i noticed that my piercing wasn´t going down anymore and i started feeling weird pain on the left side of my face everytime i pressed the piercing down( as i was told).

I went to their other location in Kalvestraat and a worker took a one look at my piercing and said the inside of my nose is very swollen and the piercing has to be removed immediately. The worker confirmed that i wasn´t given the proper instructions to make sure the piercing doesn´t close up. The worker proceeded to remove the piercing for me, threw away the stud (because there was no use for it anymore) and told me to come back to get it re-pearced. I called the Lovisa where i got my nose pierced and tried to arrange a free re -piercing or get my money back because even when the workers were very kind, i felt i was done a disservice. To make a already long story a little bit longer. I was told to go to the location where i got it removed( kalvestraat) and get it handled there but if a difficulty accured, the situation will be handled in the original Lovisa. I was left a bit disappointed because i was promised a re-pearcing(in the other location) and i didn´t get that or my money back, i was told i only paid for the stud and the "piercing service" is a gift to the customer so there would be no re-pearcing happening. The re-pearcing part i understand but the thing i find upsetting is that i was done a disservice with the fact that i wasn´t given the proper instruction with after care and i didn´t get my money back. 60€ down the drain.

For an establishment that offers piercings to their costumers, the ones giving the piercings should be responsible to educate their costumers properly on after care and how to take care of it after the healing process is finished to avoid infections. IF after the instructions have been given and the costumer doesn´t follow them properly thats when the costumer is responsible and reasonably wont get their money back. But in my case i was only told to spray after care/cleanser on it and press it down if it goes up and thats it.
Also the other reason i don´t recommend getting anything pierced here is because they use a piercing "gun" which can cause tissue damage and that can cause unnesecary swelling and longer time to heal.

Unvollständige Online-Bestellung / Incomplete online order

Ich habe insgesamt 28 Teile im Sale bestellt und bin absolut enttäuscht vom Service. Erst hat es 10 Tage gedauert, bis die Bestellung überhaupt versandt wurde. Dann wurden 5 Teile am Tag der Zustellung storniert, weil sie angeblich ausverkauft waren, nur um dann eines dieser Teile wieder als „verfügbar“ auf der Website zu sehen.

Als das Paket ankam, fehlten drei weitere Teile, die weder storniert noch erstattet wurden. Man muss seiner Ware oder seinem Geld hier regelrecht hinterherlaufen. Trotz der großen Bestellung erwarte ich nicht so eine logistische Überforderung. Ein 15% Gutschein für den Ärger macht die Sache auch nicht besser, wenn man am Ende nicht das erhält, wofür man bezahlt hat. Ich werde hier nicht noch einmal bestellen.

I ordered 28 items, and the entire process was a disaster. It took 10 days just for the order to be shipped. Afterwards, 5 items were cancelled and refunded because they were supposedly "out of stock," yet I saw one of them back on the website immediately after.

When the parcel finally arrived, three additional items were missing. These were neither cancelled nor refunded. I essentially paid for items I never received and now I have to waste my time chasing the support team for a solution. It is very frustrating to deal with such poor inventory management and careless fulfillment. I received a 15% discount code as an apology, but that doesn’t fix the fact that my order was incomplete. I wouldn’t recommend ordering here if you expect a reliable service.

Not worth the money – caused ear infection

I’m really disappointed with my experience with Lovisa jewellery.

I bought several pairs of earrings a couple of months ago and started wearing them in my existing piercings (which I’ve had for years with no issues). Shortly after, my ears became extremely sore, red, and swollen. Some of my piercings even developed lumps and discharge, which I’ve never experienced before.

At first I thought it might just be irritation, but even after cleaning and trying again, the reaction came back immediately. I’ve since had to remove all the earrings and let my ears heal completely.

After reading other reviews, it seems I’m not the only one who has had this kind of reaction. I understand that fashion jewellery may not suit everyone, but not to the extent ears are oozing pus!

Unfortunately, this experience has put me off buying earrings from Lovisa again. I’d strongly recommend that anyone with sensitive ears or multiple piercings be cautious and consider hypoallergenic options instead.

Really bad service, I would put 0 stars, if there was such a possibility. I placed online order 10 days ago, and contacted them for 3 times about shipment date, as they haven't sent it yet. No answer at all. Do not recommend this web-shop.

My 12 year old daughter’s ears were…

My 12 year old daughter’s ears were pierced without my consent and without an adult present. I have raised this over the phone with the store in Patrick street with no response from them yet. I raised my concerns and satisfaction with customer service over email and there was no resolution the final email was more or less telling me we will try harder in future to not let this happen. No other correspondence I am now going to take this matter further as there was no safeguarding policy followed in this instance and I now know it’s not the first time this has happened in this store.

WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

I would have put zéro star, were it possible !
I placed an order on March 21st. Tried to connect to track the package, been sent to a suspicious "security" website sending me a code to recognize the address. Mail was empty. No code. Tried a second time, a third time, same. No code. No possibility to track the parcel. Finally received a mail yesterday (April 7th) to let me know it arrived in store. Went to the said store today, to discover a tacky product. Asked the sales assistant to leave the product in store to get a refund, was told I needed to contact customer service. Did so. Been asked number of order, email adress, zipcode, to finally be told that they can not find the order. (???) So the order is imaginary? My 20€ weren’t, so I want a refund on way or another. This company is a BIG scam ! It really has to be a joke.

I recently visited a Louisa shop to buy waterproof earrings

I recently visited a Louisa shop to purchase waterproof and allergy-free earrings, but my experience was quite disappointing.

After buying, I asked if they could change the back of the earrings to suit my comfort, but the staff refused. Although I still went ahead with the purchase, I stepped out of the shop and within seconds changed my mind and returned to request a refund.

Unfortunately, the staff refused to accept the return, stating it was against their policy. While I understand that stores have rules, the situation felt very inflexible, especially considering how quickly I came back and that the product was unused.Due to hygiene they can’t tack the product back. The product was packaged by them I didn’t even open the product still they were refusing to take it back

Overall, the customer service felt unhelpful and rigid. I would have appreciated a bit more understanding and accommodation in this situation.

Got my daughters ears pierced today, in the dundalk shop & i have say they were absolutely brilliant, such a lovely bunch of staff, the male & female was so lovely! It was nerve wrecking getting them done, but they made it so much easier! 100% reccommend!🫶🏼

Malithi in Brent Cross store is amazing!

I visited the Lovisa store in Brent Cross after work for a piercing. The lovely Malithi was helpful and kind. She pierced my ear twice with care and was very gentle. She checked on it afterwards to make sure any pain I was feeling felt okay. Great service, Great piercing abilities. I’ve always liked Lovisa and this visit was no different. Thanks Malithi! X

So I went to lovisa 2 weeks ago to get my second piercing, and don’t get me wrong the people there are really nice but… I sat down in the chair waiting to get my ears pierced and they came over and marked my ear and next thing you know it’s done. I looked in the mirror and they were significantly crooked. My mom was there and she could tell by just looking at it from the back. They pierced my ear again and they had my backing on to tight and my ears where sore for way to long. They told me that they would be sore for about 3-4 days. Yeah they still are sore and I had to loosen them. They were very rough with my ears the whole time. Like I said they where very sweet but I would not recommend to go there for piercings.
