First class customer support from Jake and Kiran at Lowdham's Service Centre. Jake has been very knowledgeable and helpful with various technical queries/after sales support since we bought our new campervan. Kiran also deserves special mention for his calm assistance on the phone when we suffered a breakdown and then for his personal follow-up afterwards to help get the issue investigated by Fiat Professional. You can only really judge a dealership's aftersales care if/when you face problems - Lowdhams are proving their worth! I have no hesitation recommending them 👍

We picked up our new Hymer Free 600 Camper a week or so ago. We arrived a little early but Jamie was ready and waiting for us when we got there. Jamie took us out to the van which looked great and clearly just been detailed. The actual handover and run through of the van features was handled by Shirley who could not have been more helpful as well as being very knowledgeable. There were a few issues we picked up on as we were doing the handover but each one was resolved on the spot with no fuss or questioning.

The sales service we received from Jamie and Lowdhams was excellent coupled with a great handover service from Shirley.

Going to Lowdhams is a good idea as the staff are not pushy at all they don’t follow you around hassling you but are there and helpful when you need them we bought our Motorhome from them recently and were very happy either the whole process -Gordon who sold it to us was very pleasant and helpful all the way a credit to the company thanks Frazer and Catherine

No sales pressure and Gordon was thoroughly helpful and informative from start to finish and as novices it just what was required. Didn't go in with the intention of buying on the day but ended up purchasing our new motor home there and then. The follow up communication was excellent from Gordon and even 3 weeks after purchase he's still emailing to ensure we're happy with the motorhome.

Attentive, good handover process.
However it was a bit disappointing that non of the consumable batteries used in the main fob or the tracker had been replaced in the main key set or the 2nd keyset. Being away from our normal area finding a supplier etc was just a pain.
It was quite time consuming frustrating dealing with tracker company over the Bank Holiday weekend, our insurance co had insisted on tracker being in service.

Dealing with Nathan was an absolute pleasure. We’d experienced some issues, but Nathan couldn't do enough to help us and resolved them. He kept us well informed of progress and was always available when needed.

Avoid Lowdhams – our experience has been extremely disappointing

We purchased our camper van from Lowdhams and collected it in December 2025. Due to the time of year, we didn't properly use the van until March 2026. On our first proper trip, we discovered a serious electrical issue, with the van unable to hold any power. We also experienced a water leak, adding further to what has already been an incredibly frustrating experience.

We paid a significant amount of money for this camper van and expected it to be thoroughly checked, reliable and fit for purpose. Instead, we have spent far too much time dealing with faults and trying to get issues resolved rather than enjoying the vehicle we purchased.

What should have been the start of many enjoyable holidays has instead been overshadowed by faults, inconvenience and frustration.

Based on our experience, we would strongly advise anyone considering buying a camper van from Lowdhams to think very carefully before doing so. Our experience with both the vehicle and the after-sales service has been extremely disappointing.

We have now exhausted attempts to resolve the matter directly and will be taking our complaint to the relevant dispute resolution scheme and Trading Standards.

We would not purchase from Lowdhams again and, based on our experience, would not recommend them to others.
