After several courses lost me money, I was looking to becoming good at finances. A classmate from a class that wasn't working turned me onto Low Stress Trading and I took the Low Stress Options class. That was six months ago. Six months later, I've quit my job and moved to Hawaii because I'm making more money with their technique than I was working.

Troy and John deliver solid info with this training and ongoing support in their membership. They are consistently overdelivering on their promises. My initial results have been even better than their projections.

Back in the summer of 2020 I swore off trading forever. Yet here I am writing a 5-star review of a trading system. Here’s my story:

Sometime around 2017, I was transitioning careers (out of IT support and into Christian ministry). I had a friend from church who was a daytrader. It then dawned on me that since other people are making money trading the markets, I could certainly figure out how to do it. After all, I’m kind of a smart guy . . .

Three years later — and tens of thousands of dollars lost to courses, subscriptions, and the ever hungry market — I threw in the towel. I was done with trading forever. So I told myself.

I ventured into the world of marketing & copywriting and ended up on Troy Broussard’s email list.

I remember seeing Troy send some emails in the summer of 2023 about exploring trading. I thought to myself, “Wow. Good luck with that, Troy.” (in the most sarcastic tone possible). A few months later, he was singing the praises of a system he was trading that was giving him 1% per week returns.

“That’s nice for you,” I thought. “But good luck keeping it.” (yeah, I was very unhappy with my failures in the markets. Lots of scars . . .)

Then something almost magical happened. In late September 2023 the markets took a hit, pulling back for a few weeks. I expected to see Troy lament about the woe’s of trading and share his struggles with us . . . except . . . that’s not what happened.

Instead, Troy was sharing about how his system was working to bring in money from the markets even when they pulled back. He wasn’t down and struggling like the rest of the S&P 500; he was continuing to collect his 1% per week.

What?!

I wish I could say I jumped right in then, but I wasn’t ready yet. I waited until around Christmas time — after months of seeing Troy rave about his trading system — before I finally considered jumping back into trading. And it all came down to this one question: did I trust Troy’s numbers or not?

Answer: I did trust Troy and his results. So I bought his program.

Being a veteran (read: battered & bruised) trader, I saw almost immediately what made his system so simple and special. And I knew it worked for him. I just needed to know if it would work for me. So, I began testing it.

A few paper trades to understand the system. Then I put some real money in (super small, just needed to see real trades in action). And they worked as advertised.

That was January of 2024. Now, it’s August. I’m about 700 trades into the system and I feel like I’ve found the mythical “Holy Grail” of options trading. The system — which is so simple and takes so little time each week — is the only trading system I’ve ever used that actually helped me make money from the markets.

Sure, I’ve tried other systems, but I gave up on them because even when I made big money, I could NEVER SEEM TO KEEP IT!

The people running this company are HONEST! They do what they say. They teach what they know from experience. You get to learn what they know so you can do it to. I'm a country lawyer with an English degree from a no-name state university. I don't understand high finance and I never thought I'd be a trader. However, my experience with Loss Stress Trading has been extraordinary. Life changing, in fact. I've gotten lucky a couple of times over the years in my law practice, and for about the last 5 years I've been looking for something new to do, something...less stressful and more fun. I'd been following a couple of the owners of this company for a while and developed a level of trust that's hard to come by these days. Based on that trust, I joined LST last October and took baby steps for the first couple of months. Every week, the framework worked and I made money. Since then, I've committed a lot of my nest egg to my trading account and it is growing to what I believe will become generational wealth, which is all good and great, but the real legacy I hope to leave my kids is everything I've learned and continue to learn from Loss Stress Trading. The Low Stress Trading program from John and Troy is superb! The strategies they use and teach have worked great for me. I love their high standards of integrity, both from themselves and from the students admitted into their program and community. I appreciate the online forum and the weekly Live coaching where John and Troy answer questions from students and share market insights as well as what they are doing to stay Low Stress and profitable.

I joined Low Stress Trading about 2 months ago. The training covers everything and Troy and John work pretty much around the clock to support the students on live calls and in the group. I'm averaging well more than the 1% a week that they say is possible. And the system they teach does in fact only require several hours a week and is very low stress. This program is well named and these guys are the real deal.

I Joined the Low Stress Options group late July. Went through the training, mind you I have no trading experience, let alone options. Took a bit to jump in and actually do a trade following the LSO platform. Just 1% a week right? My account is / was small. 3 weeks in, I made close to $500. Watched the training again, that's crazy must be luck, nope did things right, get in, get out, "wash rinse repeat". I've now increased my account size, feeling a bit more confident, this week I've paid for the training x3. One month! We all have a story to tell, mine was letting someone else manage my money, lost lots. I feel confident I'm on the right track to recover, and then some. I feel in total control. I also feel like part of a group. That helps when your doing something a month ago you never heard of. Wife laughs now I talk in a different language. One month!

I originally signed up with Low Stress Options in late December 2023. This past week was the first week I didn't do any trades.

My oldest son is serving in the US Air Force and was recently stationed in Anchorage, AK. My wife and I went to visit him Thursday, Aug 29th and returned on Saturday, Sep 7th. Alaska is four hours behind Wall Street - meaning the 3PM roll check is at 11AM there. We had plans to go out in the Gulf of Alaska, take a morning helicopter tour of a glacier, and go hiking in the mountains. I didn't want to worry about not having cell coverage when I needed to check my account. So, in the days leading up to our departure, I rolled everything that would expire while away (that I didn't want assigned) out to this coming Friday (Sep 13th). Low Stress -- actually, No Stress!

We had a great time, and I was back in the action with new options this week.

This is, by far, the most valuable investing course I’ve ever taken, and I’ve worked in financial services for 20 years. I’ve seen a lot of different financial strategies and investment ideas come and go. I’ve worked alongside many different financial planners, investment advisors, and have subscribed to many different investment newsletters over the years.

A common theme with all professional advisors, and most investment newsletters, is they take a top-down, authority-driven approach. They give you the answers. You follow. There’s no actual learning, and thus there’s no possibility of you becoming independent. This keeps the investor dependent on the financial advisor or newsletter publication. In a sense, you can never really be successful that way—you’re merely riding off the success of the advisor or newsletter feeding you all the answers. You’re helpless and your success is at the mercy of someone else.

Troy and John take a radically different approach.

They’ve created a course that actually teaches you how to invest in stock options, and be successful with it. You “learn how to fish”, so to speak, so that you can develop independence and not rely on others for investment advice or opinions.

I won’t say it’s without risk. Options can be extremely risky, and you can lose a ton of money. There are a myriad of ways any options strategy can go sideways on you—including this one. And, while I do think this is a great course on options investing, it’s not going to solve all your money or financial problems. Don’t get me wrong. The returns you can make are phenomenal, but rate of return isn’t (always) everything. There are many (many) different facets of a good financial plan.

With that said, Troy and John have done an amazing job with this course, and they do their very best to show you how to avoid most of the serious mistakes an investor can make when doing options trading. And, in the process, you can potentially make a lot of money.

I say “potentially” because it really does depend on your own efforts, initiative, and sticktoitiveness. There are no guarantees in the options market. Your success with this investing strategy also depends on how much capital you have to start with, and how much access to capital you’ll have as time goes on if things go sideways. But Troy and John teach you how to make this strategy as low stress as humanly possible.

As for actual results, I can’t complain. I’ve made back far more than what the course cost with my first few trades. As for longer-term results… I could quit trading right now, liquidate all my positions, and walk away with almost 3x what the S&P500 has returned to investors, and it’s only August (as of this writing). I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited about investing… ever in my career.

I can’t tell you whether you should buy into LSO. You’ll have to decide that for yourself. What I can tell you is I’m extremely happy with the results. My only regret (if you can call it that) is I wish I had known about this 20 years ago.
