My experience is with LPI Inc spa manufacturer

My experience is with an LPI-manufactured TT450 spa. LPI (LPI, Inc.) manufactures and sells several spa lines, including Tuff Spas, Catalina Spas, Dr. Wellness, and other related brands. My spa developed a leak about four months after installation. The people I dealt with were pleasant, but my experience with the product and customer service was very disappointing.
The warranty repair was handled by a third-party company that was not familiar with this spa model. The repair process took months, during which the spa was unusable. When the repair was finally completed, insulation that had been removed was not replaced, forcing me to spend additional money out of pocket to restore it. The leak-detection dye they sent would have permanently stained my new composite decking, but fortunately I was able to intervene and prevent the damage. During this whole process, I had to initiate most calls and emails to find out the status of the work with weeks going by without any word. Considering I have nearly $10,000 invested, which includes the purchase price, transportation, crane placement, and 220V electrical conversion work, I'd hoped for much better.
I ultimately spent additional money, time and effort correcting issues created during the warranty repair and received little meaningful assistance from LPI. While the staff were courteous, the product quality, warranty experience, and customer support fell well short of what a reasonable customer should expect from a major purchase. If I had it to do over, I would choose a different manufacturer.
