I ordered from them and thought it was fishy that I didn’t receive and email of a confirmation upon ordering, (last time I ordered from them was about 3 years ago) they immediately canceled my order and kept my money. There is a way to to contact them but I never received a reply and I did not receive an email from them when I placed my order. Once I saw a similar review online I canceled my card with my bank and ordered a new one and put in a dispute with my bank.

Upon further investigation it looks like the boutique Lucy Ave shut down a couple years ago and turned into Nora Madison Design. So whomever is operating Lucyavesale.com is taking advantage of people and using old pictures & products to keep their site familiar & they are scamming people.

I was just scammed by Lucy Ave. I have not received an order confirmation or any tracking details. I logged into my acount and it booted me out within 30 seconds. Then said my password was incorrect. When I tried to reset it, it said to check my email, and no email from them. I send a message through contact us, and yet no response. I have nothing in my email inbox or spam box from this company. Then a few days ago, I get a message saying that my charge has been updated and they took another $5.00 out of my account. I locked my account to keep other charges from coming to my card. Today is Jan 12, 2025 and I ordered from then on Jan 03, 2025. Please do not order from this company. This should be a -5, because a 1 star is definately not appropriate here.

I PLACED AN ORDER OVER 24 HRS AGO AND STILL HAVE NOT RECIEVED A ORDER CONFIRMATION EMAIL. I TRIED TO EMAIL THIS MORNING AND HAVE HAD NO RESPONSE , I AM SO SAD I USED A GIFT CARD I RECIEVED FOR CHRISTMAS AND AM WORRIED I MAY NOT GET MY MONEY BACK. SO UPSETTING. I ORDERED FROM HERE A YEAR AGO AND HAD NO ISSUES . AFTER READING COMMENTS I SEE THAT THIS IS COMMON WITH THIS COMPANY

I loved this company because their prices were affordable and the clothes were super cute! I noticed they were having a huge sale on all of their product. I came back a few weeks later and the website had been revamped and the prices were through the roof. I don’t think Lucy Ave ever recovered from the Covid crisis and they just couldn’t find a way to stay afloat and the only way they had out was to sell the company! It’s very sad!!

This used to be my favorite place to shop. But I guess the owner sold the company or something.. they deleted their Facebook and Instagram. The company who now owns it seems kinda off. They have new promotion photos on there website, but it's girls wearing clothing that they don't even carry. I'm too nervous to shop here now

Scam. Everyone is correct. I purchased 2 items m. Finally received the tracking and shipment information after a few days of my purchase. Waiting and tracking it. Finally stated it got delivered not only knowing it was the totally incomplete wrong items that I originally purchased. Luckily I was able to get my money back from my CC company but I have emailed the company itself but of course haven’t heard back when they say in the emails if you have an questions or concerns please respond to this email address. This website has changed a lot and the reviews are all correct and spot on. Really disappointed because this website was exactly what I was looking for in boutique type clothing at a reasonable price point. Shame on the scammers.

I emailed this company and haven’t heard one thing back! I have a gift card and they website is no longer up.

How do I get my money back? They should be refunding people. This is crazy.

I loved shopping at this boutique but something must have happened to the owners to just completely abandon and it doesn't seem legit anymore. I have a gift card and cant use it. They didnt announce closing or anything.

This boutique is a SCAM. Josh and Cheyenne Lawrence who are the owners should be ashamed. They don't answer emails and they are ignoring every comment on social media. The prices have sky rocketed and they will cancel orders and not refund you. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. They will steal your money.

I put in an order on Saturday. Got a message yesterday the order was canceled with no explanation why or when I would receive a refund. I will be contacting someone shortly if I don’t receive a refund due to fraudulent activity.

I purchased a bathing suit that was way overpriced. The material was cheap and the threading was falling apart. The size was an xl and it seemed like it would fit a small child. I emailed them asking if I could get my money back, despite their fraudulent return policy. However, once they received the item they said I could get store credit. The store credit is for $60 and based on the available options, that’s way to much money to buy anything. Their website sucks. Their stock is limited. And it’s cheap. Literally the worst online shopping experience I’ve ever had. The company owner must be making a killing ripping everyone off. How do they sleep at night?

Ordered two tops last week! They are so cute! I order from Lucy Ave all the time. The quality is top notch and if it’s something is not they fix it. I love buying from local companies and supporting them! I’m so glad they are Utah based! Completely blow away to see that they have any bad reviews. This has not been my experience ever! Some people are too much and super high maintenance obviously! This is a trust worry company.

Ordered a pair of shoes. No word on shipping after almost a week, which is suspicious since the company is US-based. They don’t have a number to call. The only way to reach out is by email (also suspicious). A Jennifer Mayola responded to my inquiry and told me she would look into it. She never responded back.

I contacted the BBB a few days later (still no shipment notification) to look into this. I also sent another email to Jennifer requesting to cancel my order and to provide a full refund. She finally responds and tells me the shoes are on their way - even sends me a screenshot showing me the shipment information I never received (why not send the direct link?)…

That same moment, I get an email stating my order had been successfully cancelled. Since I knew I wouldn’t get a straight answer, I waited to see if they were delivered, and they were unfortunately in my mailbox today. The shoes are crap.

To top it all off, I now have several pending charges from Lucy Avenue on my bank account. I don’t know if I’m being charged or not. I went as far as to contact the owner on her personal Instagram account for some clarity. She told me she would “do some digging” and get back to me ASAP. It’s been close to an hour and nothing yet. I sure hope she responds by tomorrow because I refuse to pay for the shoes. She can send me a prepaid label if she wants them back.

Buyer beware - it ain’t worth it!!!!

BEWARE! Google Search brought me to their online shop, and there was one particular item I was interested in. When I got it, I realized how overpriced it was and how cheap the overall quality was.

I returned it in a very short turnaround time, and still, they did not want to issue me a refund. They say they only issue store credit for any returns; what a fraud!

There was literally nothing else in their country housewife store that would have attracted me, and my MONEY WAS LOST!

Their hidden return policy only allows store credit for returns, not refunds. Almost all sizes are sold out, making it hard to pick something with my store credit especially when I don't like their items anyway. I only wanted the pair of boots i had to return due to them fitting about a size too small. Way overpriced for cheap products.

I bought two items. It took almost a month to be delivered (I live in Germany) and even after paying almost 50 dollars for shipping I also had to pay customs... Anyway, the items look good, but they do not fit at all. Shoe was too small and the cardigan had a unusual long sleeve. The fitting of the pieces were not made thinking about a normal body, they just increment the size in ALL directions... really weird. Because is an international delivery is not worth to send back, I will only lose more money. Do not recommend it!

I placed an almost $400 order with them in which I bought a lot of full priced items, and used a code to get a few pairs of free shoes. When I tried to return a couple of the full priced items, they told me that because I used a code, the entire order was final sale, which was never disclosed in their return policy. They also said if I wanted to return them for store credit, they would only give me $26 each for them, which was my order total divided by the number of items, instead of the $50 and $60 each item was. Never in my life have I heard of this. I will be reaching out to my credit card company and BBB and will never order from them again.
