Better than expected!
I was pleasantly surprised by the product quality from luminis films. We ordered an anti-heat film for use in Southern Spain and it was a mid range quality. About EUR27 per m2, with long duration. The installation was easier than I had feared as neither my husband nor I have ever done anything like this before. Therefore we ordered the pre-cut version, which was totally worth it for us since we are not professionals and everything arrived the correct size. We were lucky our neighbour had installed before, and he came over when he saw what we were doing to give us some advice. The most important is to use LOTS of soapy water so you can keep moving the film until it is in the perfect place. He commented that the film was of very high quality because he had installed these professionally some years ago and had seen many different types.
But most important, the film really makes a difference. I think it is advertised as 90% reduction in sun and although it makes the room a little bit darker is certainly helps against the heat, you can feel it straight away because by the windows it is no longer hot. We think it reduces the temp by possibly as much as 5 degrees. We are pretty happy as with the reviews I was not sure what to expect. Last year august we had 39 degrees in our living room if we didn't have the aircon on, this year we had only as high as 34 degrees (after a week away with all windows shut).
