After a lengthy delay, I was so disappointed with the poor quality of the clothes. As others have said, this site, I believe is a scam. If I wasn't so cross about falling for it, I'd be laughing at how awful the products are vs the website description. After a few emails, I have managed to get a 50% refund, not ideal by any standards, but saved me £15 returns postage with no guarantee of full refund. Needless to say, but avoid this company.

I was after a particular product and the only thing that seemed to fit the bill, was from a targeted ad that kept popping up from Lumin London.

Firstly, I waited an age for the item to arrive and when it finally did I was truly shocked at being conned so easily. What should have been a knitted item (it actually says 'knitted' in the description) was actually a thin, polyester top with a photo print of a knitted jumper plonked on it. It's neither 'cosy' or 'luxurious' as stated, in fact it's hideous.

I wasn't swung by the 'sale price' or the apparent good service, I just wanted an item that looked the same as the photograph.

Don't be fooled, the only thing I can find that connects this company to London is it's name. To get a full refund, the item MUST arrive back in China within 30 days. The cheapest quote I got to send it back was half the price of the actual item and I wasn't willing to risk losing even more money as it is at the companies discretion whether to refund you or not.

Avoid at all costs, I sure wish I had.

Very poor quality clothing from Lumin London selling products from Asia and charge £15 to return.

Poor quality and products not as described!! Looked nothing like the pictures on the website. Then when you try to return they tell you that you have to pay shipping costs. Not worth the money, Products come direct from Asia and the 'London' part is just a front.

Scam again ordered tracksuit not going to order on line anymore pay pal no good either have no protection will be shopping in stores from now on

This website is a front company for "short selling"..ie: selling things they haven't physically got...the order is the passed to China and shipped back to the UK via Chinese import rules and is therefore very slow. The products are rubbish as you've probably guessed and claiming a straight forward refund is impossible...good luck..

This is basically a scam website! Firstly it has no connection with or presence in London, UK, — it is Chinese. The inclusion of London in the name is a deliberately misleading ploy. If you select an item it will be displayed as of apparently good quality. Order it and what you will receive is a cheap sweat-shop product of extremely poor material and quality. Wish to return it? They want you pay £15 up front to return it to their Aisian depot (but with a caveat that that they cannot guarantee it will not get lost in Customs!)
We got caught because we did not check reviews on their website first — lesson now learnt!!
Steer well clear of this Scam. Update —- now found (as others have reported) that PayPal is no good in trying to obtain redress/ refund!

Misleading description. Received item and instantly recognised that is is overpriced and terrible quality. I wouldn't even dress a scarecrow in it. Pointless trying to return. Extortionate pricing.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! Very misleading. Appalling quality clothing. Can’t return as they only accept tracking postage to Asia which costs almost the same as the item.

Ordered a knitted jumper with embroidery on it, got a nylon top with printed pattern. Suitable for charity shop only.

I wish I could give no stars! A ‘knitted’ hoodie made with luxurious wool??? What came was some cheap nylon badly sewn with a terrible out of focus print of a knitted style. It’s a truly horrid item of clothing. Thank goodness I paid with PayPal as I intend to get a total refund.

As with others, I ordered the Hannelore vintage sweater, assuming from the photograph, that it was an item of knitwear. Never again will I order from the internet without reading the reviews first. Possibly the ugliest thing I have ever seen. I sent it straight back but do not really expect a refund from this company, whose dishonesty is plain to see.

The item description was completely misleading. I bought what looked like a jumper and the details implied it was by saying it needed a gentle wash.

What arrived was a sweat shirt made from material that was printed with a picture of a jumper.

Possibly some one of the ugliest pieces of clothing I have ever seen.

I ordered a handbag which arrived today.
The item is not as described. It is of very poor quality and I would not use this company again.
Complete waste of money and it costs £15 to return to China.

FRAUD. CRIMINALS hiding behind glossy website, posing as UK company. Items do not resemble images on screen. They claim free post and packing, but charge for tracking on what looks like a made up app that they control. I am not even sure they are in China, maybe pretending to be when purchases disputed. Returns have to be sent to their Asia depot at customer cost that starts ar £15. It has to be tracked, but if it is conveniently lost in customs, that is not their responsibility! There is no returns address on website on in correspondence! They will then use delay tactics, leading you on with promises of bigger discounts / compensation amounts until your time for raising a dispute has expired.

A scam. Poor quality £100% polyester shirt. So much for "linen mix" in the online website. Returning it requires you to pay at least £15 to return to CHINA. So much for "Lumin London". So much for 30 day returns policy. Please do not go near this outfit.

Utter garbage. Item received is nothing like the image on their website!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

PLEASE AVOID....Just received my order of ethnic hoodie ...its terrible ,cheap looking the quality is diabolical..looks like the pattern has been printed on to fabrics and is blurred ..would like to return for a refund but you have to pay costs of £15 at least to return .
I'm an OAP and just cant afford to do that .

If I could put no stars I would. DO NOT buy!! I thought I was getting some knitwear but it was very cheap polyester with a knit print on it. I am trying to return it but at the moment keep going round in circles. This is a scam.

Like one of the other reviewers, I read the wrong Lumin (cosmetics) review. The website looks very classy and the dress I ordered was described as 100% linen but when it arrived, the material was a very poor quality polyester. Their customer service team do reply quickly, but you have 2 options: either accept a 10% refund, or swap the dress for a different item, incurring a £7.95 postage fee. Since I wasn't inclined to order any more rubbish, I opted for the former and did get the refund but it was still an expensive outlay (over £30) for what was a cheap looking product.
