Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 499 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many consumers noted that the goods received did not match the advertised pictures, often consisting of cheap or poorly made materials. Reviewers frequently mentioned issues with the quality of the items, describing fabrics as synthetic or the products themselves as shabby. However, some people mentioned that the refund was processed quickly once the return was sent. Conversely, a small portion of people felt that the returns process was a major hurdle, requiring customers to ship items to Canada at their own expense. Some reviewers also pointed out significant problems with sizing, noting items were often too small despite size designations.

AVOID THIS COMPANT

Do Not use this company. They said delivery was done 2 weeks after order. No delivery received. Endless emails back and forth, I must say they were quick to respond. However they did not resolve the issue. They are unable to give me a timeframe for a refund. They offered a voucher but ….. why would you make a second order? AVOID

DO NOT OTDER FROM THIS COMPANY Took ages to arrive from Canada !! Extremely poor quality and nothing like the picture on their website .
Returns are not free - you have to pay in excess of £20 to return goods . My return parcel was returned to me so I’ve now lost over £75.00. Complete rip off !

AVOID this company

AVOID this company! Have battled for a week via email for a refund on a £60 ring which came in a plastic bag stating the item enclosed is plastic (in italian)! The moonstone had fallen out and was again plastic. Conplete misrepresentation of what i thought i was going to receive as a gift for someone. Very very stressful getting a refund. Save yourself the stress and go elsewhere.

Not a Scam but Feels Close

Do not buy from this company if you wish to return an item. Resembling a Chinese scam, the London based company has the item sent from China, then if you are displeased, offers a partial refund and you keep the product or returning it at great expense to Canada. Further more, this whole process is not instantly available when purchasing and is made as difficult as possible while in communication with charming support staff who actually offer no real support at all. Oh yes, and the jeans were horrible.

Confirmed order not received but refused refund. Drop-shipping scam.

My order was not delivered due to damage in transit. Lune "London" (actually Canada, Netherlands & China) refused my request to cancel (I needed the item for my holiday the following week and wouldn't be in the country to accept delivery).
Instead, they insisted on replacing the order without my consent.
This replacement order still hasn't arrived, four weeks later. Lune London admits I have not received it and it is 'somewhere' with the courier - despite Yodel's system saying it was handed to me in person when I was 3,000 miles away.
Lune London is insisting I deal with the original drop-shipper CNE Express in China myself to locate the parcel, which is a serious breach of the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015. The parcel is Lune London's responsibility until received by the consumer and that includes dealing with courier issues.
They have offered me vouchers or yet another replacement, but refused a refund, despite having failed to fulfil the contract twice now. So a refund is my legal right.
I'm now heading to a credit card chargeback.
Glossy, credible website, but these guys are drop-shipping scammers.

Just awful

Just awful. I thought I was being scammed.

Item was apparently damaged in transit and never made it to me. I was offered a credit in excess of my purchase value but as this was a red flag I asked for a refund.
Finally got a refund after being continually offered excess credit. Was told the refund wouldn't include postage costs despite this being contrary to Consumer Rights Act 2015. Luckily sense prevailed.
AVOID!!

Scam company

Scam company. I asked about sizing and design. Was encouraged to buy as “can always return “ but you can’t! They are based in Canada. Bot replies. Do not use. Wish I’d read reviews first. Still trying to get my refund weeks later. What a waste of time and money.

Do not order anything from this fraudulent company

Do not order anything from this company. Update following my previous post about Lune London adding an item I had not ordered and taking money from my credit card without authorization. Lune London refused to cancel the order and refund me. The items have now arrived and the tankini which I did order is not fit for purpose the material is cheap and shoddy and does not fit. I am required to return the items at my own expense which will be considerable as the item I did not order is heavy and has to be returned to Canada. They will not accept the return of goods which have been removed from the packaging. It is a fraudulent company hiding in plain sight and being allowed to get away with it. I have asked my bank to reimburse my credit card. Do not order anything from this company which I have no doubt will soon cease trading under the name Lune London but will recommence trading under a different name.

My experience with Lune London is the…

My experience with Lune London is the same as everyone else, very poor quality fabric, flimsy and ill fitting. Returns almost impossible, difficulties placed in my way and return address in Canada at my own expense. My advice - do not buy anything from this company

I would rate Lune London zero if possible.

I have been able to give proof of posting, tracking and delivery but have had to send up to 50+ emails.

Disgusting service

Below are the reasons given for not supplying a refund-

How supplying return evidence does not guarantee a refund:
I want to be transparent with you. The reason evidence alone does not guarantee a refund is that our return policy, which you agreed to when placing the order, requires that the return be verified through our automated verification system. Our system is technically unable to read Royal Mail tracking, and the fallback carriers have been unable to locate the shipment. The finance team reviewed the refund request against these policy requirements and it was denied on this basis. I understand this feels deeply unfair given the clear Royal Mail delivery evidence you have provided, and I am not dismissing the strength of that evidence — but the refund process is governed by the terms accepted at the time of purchase, and I am unable to override that decision. I completely understand your frustration, and I am truly sorry that this resolution is not what you were hoping for after the significant effort you put into providing proof of return. If you wish to escalate this complaint further (e.g. to the ombudsman), please let me know and I will note it on your case.

Wish I’d looked on Trustpilot before…

Wish I’d looked on Trustpilot before ordering from the absolutely appalling company. Swim shorts 2 pairs £80.00 not bad I thought for a London based business. 5 to seven day free delivery it said placed order they added £5.00 delivery cost items arrived 2 weeks later from china. Nothing like website pictures a really nasty cheap nylon like material. Requested returns email from someone called Amelia allegedly, wanting to know if the packaging had been opened or tried on offered 20% refund and I keep shorts!!! Seems if you even open the packaging to feel the material they won’t refund.
Made a complaint through my bank who have immediately refunded all my money including the £5.00 free delivery charge as I guess all the copied emails from Lune NOT London were some of many they have received. PLEASE DONT BUY FROM LUNE LONDON THEY ARE A SCAM COMPANY delivering very very low quality clothing and making returns nearly impossible without substantial cost.
Update

Since involving my bank and raising a dispute the outcome was perfect. Full refund from Lune London including delivery cost.
Please don’t use this company guys and check Trustpilot as it appears there are many Chinese companies masquerading as uk businesses supplying shoddy goods with complex returns policies.

Terrible product quality and refund policy NOT honoured

The dresses I ordered arrived late. They were not the quality that had been advertised. Thin very cheaply made with no labels! Contacted them through my delivery confirmation email requesting to return. They said I was outside the rerurns policy time period which they told me was 14 days on their website it states it is 30 days. I sent them a cooy of their refund policy and they still said it was 14 days and I was not entitled to a refund. I would advise everyone NOT to use this company. It is not at all what it says on the website. Disgraceful. Shame on you Lune of London.

Absolutely terrible company.Ordered…

Absolutely terrible company.Ordered swim shorts. Read reviews then tried to cancel. E mailed 7 minutes later was told you’ve only got 5 minutes to cancel. Received shorts. Opened outside package then looked at shorts, they were way too small. Tried to return and was told that as I opened the package couldn’t return them as they’re personal items. Really poor quality and seem to be made in same place as SHEIN but 8 times the price.

Part 2 DON'T Touch

Part 2

After being told to return the appalling quality item to Germany because I complained at it costing me nearly £30 to get back to Canada, They told me to return to Germany, I paid £20 for this and the German office would not accept the item and they have returned it to me.
The company will take no responsibility for giving me a fake address and the fact I am out of pocket £20 for a complete waste of time and money. These people are complete Charlatans and the trouble is people are only reading trust pilot reviews after purchasing. Somehow people need to be warned before they buy on a different platform. Can someone let people know on Instagram and the social media platforms they advertise on just how disgraceful and dishonest they are.
