Great experience, returning customer

I placed my order late December, and requested the signature cut. The hair its beautiful and the cut was perfect. This is my first lace-top topper that I've ordered from Lusta, and I am very happy with it. The quality is great, and this topper is my new go-to daily wear hair

Success of ordering online!!


I have been wearing wigs for 40 years now with my first wig at 16 yrs old. The amazing support I received from Lusta when sourcing a wig online for the first time was so detailed that this time around I was more confident in making decisions on my own. Family, friends coworkers have told me this wig from Lusta is by far the most natural one ever!! Thank you for all your support when my order was stuck at Customs, another layer of stress that I didn’t anticipate and you jumped in to make sure I was able to get my package! ❤️my new hair!!

Over the moon with my Lusta experience!

Hi, I was so excited to receive my 18” Maple Butter Topper! Upon trying it on, it was everything Kimberley and the team had promised on their website and video’s. The colour was such a pretty blond with many different shades to blend. The quality of the hair was just the right density and the human hair was super soft and A Grade condition. The base was just blending into the blond looking realistic and also a beautiful colour at the root. I’d been thinking about the purchase very carefully for some time and I could not be happier with the result! Thank you to all the Lusta team for a stand out quality product, that arrived quickly and efficiently. Thank you for being true to your product and delivering exactly the colours you advertise. First time buying a topper online.

I was diagnosed with Androgenic Alopecia when I was 12 years old. I am now nearly 30.
For years I have struggled with my appearance feeling bad about myself, trying to cover up my thinning with root spray, hair fibres and spending so much money on tape in extensions which didn’t do much of a difference. I got my first topper a few years ago in a hairdressers where I live, I wasn’t shown how to look after it or even how to put it on and avoided wearing it as I felt it looked very fake. I followed Lusta for a long time and was afraid to buy as it was online. After looking at the reviews and the return policy I bit the bullet and bought one. Wow I would never ever look back, not only is the piece so natural and sits so perfect on my head you wouldn’t even know it wasn’t growing from my head but the support the team offer to their customers is just amazing, you feel part of a community and less alone. It’s also great that the owner has hair loss too so understands the feelings around buying hair, quality of hair and also how scary is to first start wearing hair and you would know how personal it is to her as it shows in the work of Lusta. I would recommend anyone who is looking to buy hair to look into Lusta as you will not regret it!

Why did I wait so long?!

It took me a while to reach out to Lusta because I was afraid of change. Once I did, I was disappointed that I had waited so long! The Lusta team has been super responsive, supportive, and understanding. My game changer piece arrived quickly, and the hair was absolutely beautiful. It looks so real!! I was used to wearing vacuum pieces, so the Lusta piece is so light and natural. I couldn’t believe the difference. I’ll definitely order from them again, and am looking forward to seeing their new pieces that are coming out soon! Can’t wait to see how they’ve improved on something that was already fantastic!

Lusta is 100% the best hair topper/ wig company I’ve purchased from

If there’s one thing I know is I’m not graceful. I am clumsy, I’m messy and I do not fall under a category of being “neat”. This type of lifestyle is acceptable with the lusta hair company/kimberlys hard work. I have accidentally pulled my wig stands with the paddle brush. It was not going to slip off of my head. I’ve gone on rollercoasters. No worries, it stayed on perfectly! I was nervous about this one. I really think after years of being apart of the lusta community their customer service is top tier. This is why I continuously stay purchasing through them. They are supportive and so caring, truly! I’ve been on a cancer journey. They ask me how I’m doing and check in on me often! I feel the love. I wear my pieces daily and they last the rest of time no questions. Everyone who knows me closely says they could never tell I was wearing hair. My mom said she wants one now, too because of how realistic it looks. I cannot rave about how comforting the lusta team is with unboxing your pieces. They will guide you every step of the way with wearing your new piece. Not once did I feel alone after purchasing through lusta! The customer service are so pleasant and it makes a difference! I cannot wait to see what’s in store for lustas future. I know I will be there for it all.

I have alopecia since Im 17 years old

I have alopecia since Im 17 years old. I found Lusta and after A LOT of research I decided to give it a try and I don't regret it. It has helped me with my confidence, it looks real and I love it.
I'll repurchase 100%.

Lusta for life

The Lusta team is incredibly kind, helpful, and insanely good at what they do! I have two toppers, and for both of them the colour match was absolutely perfect. After so many years of sadness, it feels amazing not to have to worry about my hair anymore. The toppers are so easy to attach, the clips are comfortable, and you don’t even feel like you’re wearing anything on your head. I’ll never buy anywhere else again ❤️

Very poor quality


Very poor quality! After 3-4 months, the hair was visibly falling out at the front of the head, and after 5-6 months, also on the sides above the ears. After 7-8 months, the color had completely changed.

After contacting the company, they claimed it was due to improper care, which is impossible! After several attempts to resolve the issue, they offered us a voucher worth about €400 when we bought a new wig, which is ridiculous considering it cost over €2000. I'm certainly not going to buy the same poor-quality product twice!

You WILL NOT be able to on-sell.

Do not trust them when they say you will be able to sell online if it doesn’t work out. 6 months i have had a topper advertised at half the purchase price and not one bite. Topper is still in packaging unopened. Even if I had sold it I would have been $2,000 out of pocket.

Stood Up For Someone Who Isn't A Customer

While I'm not a customer I do want to express my deepest gratitude to Lusta and their employee Kimberly. I am currently selling my hair and a fraud said that they worked with this company. I reached out to confirm and not only did Lusta take the time out of their schedule to get back to me when I'm not a paying customer. They did so the same business day. They may have literally saved me from going in the hole $5,000! While many companies wouldn't care what happened to someone who doesn't contribute to their bottom line they did neighborly thing by ensuring I know this man was lying. I plan on recommending this company to any people I know who have such hair needs!

Poor quality and colour wig

I received my $3200 wig and am devastated with the quantity which was dry, and the colour which was dull and nothing like what was pictured They will not let return it as I got the Lusta thinning cut. I cannot wear this wig and am thousands of dollars out of pocket as I saved for years for this wig and cant afford another one Would never recommend wasting your money with this company and all the anxiety this has caused me.

DO NOT BUY CUSTOM ITEM. It is not worth the risk.

I do not recommend buying a custom topper or wig. If the product is not what you wanted, you will be out $2,000+. If it’s like my experience, they will not make it right despite my pleading, —literal pleading because with customizing costs and added thinning cut for me I was reaching a cost of $3,000. My custom order was at least 3 shades off from my inspiration pictures.

They were so holly jolly and *—seemingly—* had good customer service in that they were friendly throughout the whole process but they still did me dirty by charging for something I couldn’t wear unless I were to dye my thin bio hair to try to match the topper (which is not how it is supposed to work when you throw down that much money).

I had a supremely disappointing experience in that because of their smiley, personable online persona I never imagined they would do me wrong like they did…and that sinking feeling of being out so much money. I felt so dumb for getting myself into the situation. I TRULY AM TAKING THE TIME TO WRITE THIS SO PEOPLE AT LEAST KNOW THE RISK before trusting like I did.

Additionally the topper is bulky relative to my fine hair strands and hard to blend even if the color had matched. You could see where the silk started through my thinning hair. If you have thin hair you need to use a barrette or hair pins to hold down your bio hair to be sure you can not see the piece (unless you were inside out of the wind sitting still for a photo shoot or some-such). This company is entrepreneurial and I wonder if they will develop a mono top of some kind —or who knows what— in the future that will be more friendly to very thinning hair in the front. Perhaps that is what a wig is for but I am an awkward in-between and don’t need a wig yet so part of the deal is Lusta hair doesn’t fit the bill at all for my stage but their Instagram made me believe it would blend with my bio hair seamlessly.

I think if you have thick hair in front you might —and probably will— be fine buying a stock piece that is returnable if the color is not a match.
