Installed Lutris on antiX 26 with Liquorix Kernel 7.0.10-1, and it appears that during the installation, Lutrix modified Dbus and multiple other system files in ways that broke my network drivers, permanently limiting me to a maximum network speed of 600KB/s (3.5mbps), and i have had to manually reinstall and modify multiple system files to fix it.
My pet hate is companies and websites that loudmouth how wonderful they are and how they can do everything for everybody BUT in practice are totally incapable of doing anything at all ... This is one such organisation.
Lutris is marketed as a system that lets you play any game you like - old or new - on Linux even if it's a windows only game. Their website gives HUNDREDS of links and downloads for their system for almost every version of Linux known to mankind (and womankind also !). The only problem is - the usual - after spending hours. days, weeks trying to get it installed and set-up you realise that it just doesn't work and that all the advertising is just a load of hot air...
I have tried to set this up on 4 different Linux systems but they all say exactly the same - no dependancies..
I would like to play windows games on Linux - especially the old ones - but this is not the system to accomplish that. Wine is still the only avenue that can actually work.
