i had a good experience where the…

I had a good experience where the detail was all worked within good time. The installation was professional and left me with the confidence that I had selected the right people to do the job. Yes I am enjoying the blinds particularly without the cords as this was concerning me.

We originally booked 2 X motorised…

We originally booked 2 X motorised roller blinds thru Adriana. She was VERY helpful and efficient. I explained that we were holding a party at our place in 5 weeks so I wanted the new roller blinds installed by then. She worked it out that it would be all good. Then the week before the party we had the installation booked in. The installer came and started putting the brackets up when he noticed that the suppliers had sent the wrong size for the fascia brackets. He then proceeded to put the blinds up but noticed that the main blind had a large blemish which was very obvious. So he left as is and said we wouldnt have it finished for the party but he would fast track the correct brackets and another blind. After waiting 6 weeks the installer came again and put the new blind up but was horrified and frustrated when he found that the suppliers had not sent enough brackets. So again we are still waiting for the facscias to be put on to finish the job completely. It is now 11 weeks since we put the order in and not sure how much longer we have to wait for the new brackets. The installer was very apologetic and embarrassed by this whole situation.

Great experience. A+++

Quick measure & quote, reasonable pricing, then even when there was an issue with the configuration of our plantation shutter the communication was great, the issue fixed and the shutter fitted.

I would be very happy to leave a review…

I would be very happy to leave a review telling people how happy we are with our new blinds, IF THEY HAD EVEN BEEN INSTALLED!
Despite ordering and paying a 50% deposit in December 2021, having the windows measured twice and paying the full amount prior to installation in March, the blinds were incorrect and couldn't be installed.
We were told it would take 2 weeks to have them trimmed to fit but this was then changed to needing to be sent interstate for repairs.
It is now April and we still have no blinds???????

Sales were efficient and had very good…

Sales were efficient and had very good knowledge of their products. Gave suggestions but weren’t pushy. Reasonably priced.
Installation was prompt and finished well. We have an old house where nothing is straight but they managed to fit the shutters and blinds as it it was a new build.
Would highly recommend 😀

Both the sales person and installer…

Both the sales person and installer where great to deal with. We had gone to other places and asked for quotes but after 3 weeks waiting for a quote to do blinds to do our entire house and not 1 person from the other company coming out we went to luxaflex where they booked us in for the next day to visit and quote. Can highly recommend them.

Few hiccups along the way

Few hiccups along the way - but the product i can't really fault.

Was advised if i paid the deposit to lock in my offer at the time in November 2021 - they advised blinds would be installed before Christmas. I met the requirement, the week leading up to Christmas as i had heard nothing and checked if this was still the case - advised they could no longer fulfill that promise and install only occurred mid Jan 2022. Makes it feel i was pushed into signing into the agreement based on false information just to get the sale.

After install - they got the chain wrong - originally advised it would be metal and was in email confirming - came as plastic... so another wait to have it corrected come end of Feb - which they did without issue for me at their cost.

So based on that - a few hiccups along the way... the installers were great, the sales team at the start made it sound and appear great... but just let down by stating things they were not able to come through on.

End of day i am still happy with the product now it is officially installed.

Came to install three lumishade blinds…

Came to install three lumishade blinds on the 1st December 2021.
These blinds should have been the same drop but for some reason after two people came to our house to measure then confirm measure one of the three sets had been made 690mm too long.
It is now six weeks and three phone calls later and still no blinds for our bedroom.
Then after todays phone call to get an answer on when they will be installed you have the audacity to ask for a review on how we are enjoying the install of you products!
You must be joking, from a very unhappy customer.
I don't know about winning $1000.00 you should be giving me a credit of $1000.00 for the delay in installation!

Extremely satisfied

Only (2) small concerns
- Considerable waiting time for the shutters but this was unavoidable due to fact they hade to come from Qld and the impact of the COVID virus.
- (2) of the shutters were damaged but this was more than likely on transit from QLD (some delay getting new ones). Again this was not a fault of Luxaflex in Adelaide.
Other than that, the products themselves are excellent.
All staff I dealt with (initial quote, office staff and installers) were great. Professional, polite and helpful.

Quality curtains

We had a good experiemce purchasing a custom sized curtains for our Lounge.We were looking for a 6.5m x 2.5m custom size and finally narrowed down to Luxaflex. We had a sales person come over to our house and tried out few samples.
The installation was smotth and once it was installed it looked great!
Would recommend Luxaflex for it's look and quality.

Great product so far

Great product so far - retractable awning with somfy motor & remote controlled.
However was very difficult coordinating people for installation - it dragged on & on which was disappointing despite full payment beforehand. Remainder of payment should be at completion of job not before it’s installed!

Had luxaflex verishades installed a few years ago and very impressed with the quality of the product and great sales personnel ..That I've gone back to Luxaflex Solomons Gepps cross and purchased a beautiful polysatin shutter..Very happy indeed!

Sun Rain awning ordered late June 2021

Sun Rain awning ordered late June 2021. Expected install date now sometime January 2022. No communications from Luxaflex. Have been told it is coming by sea freight. Very quick to take our money. Very disappointed in service from a premium company.

Awesome product!

Installation was efficient and great. The installer had good knowledge and gave us tips and tricks on how to look after our Luxaflex blinds. We have had the product for a few weeks now. It still looks brand new! Great Products and salesman was great in helping us choose the colours. Would recommend.

Shutters and motorised blinds

The Shutters I chose were far too cream when about to be installed so I’m very thankful they could be changed for a fraction of the cost of new ones. I love my motorised blinds as well, they make life simple

More Worried About The Money Than Customer Service.

Took a lot of back and forward to get the order correct. Order arrived and collected only to discover on unpacking that only the header boxes were there and the blinds were missing. Called the store and Jordan couldn't have cared less as he only worked in the flooring section and said it would have to wait until "Admin" could look at it tomorrow.

Right through this process all that Solomons have been worried about is getting paid and customer satisfaction comes second. Staff are arrogant and patronising too.

A great experience from the initial…

A great experience from the initial conversation, where we spent time looking at the best colours to compliment my house, booking and organising the installation around my renovation schedule through to the installation ... the blinds look amazing and have made such a different to the overall aesthetic... I love them!

Friendly and Professional Advice Gepps X

From the initial contact in store, the visits to our home to check measurements and material, and the professional installation, the entire team at Gepps Cross have been incredibly helpful and accommodating. The contact with the team has also been friendly and nothing has been a problem, even when I delayed the install by 3 months. We are delighted with the finished products and proud owners of Plantation Shutters and Roller Blinds. Thanks Gepps Cross, we will be back with our next project!
