The service was excellent thank you to Cathy and Ben.

We returned to Park Shutters for a replacement blind after our original Luxaflex finally failed after 12 years in full sun. They were quick to respond, had the dimensions of the blind on file, and the new blind was installed in a few days. Excellent service.

We recently moved into a new apartment with a west facing office that was incredibly hot with full sun in summer. A friend who happens to work at the CSIRO recommended honeycomb blinds. We chose Luxaflex blinds because they had the best energy rating and we also liked the way they looked. Kate and Ben from Park Shutters and Blinds (Sydney) were incredibly helpful every step of the way. Kate’s design advice was fantastic. We chose opaque (sunblock) Duette blinds for the office. That room now stays at 22-23 degrees C all year round, which will keep the entire apartment cool and keep our energy costs down.
In the loungeroom, Kate helped us choose a more translucent set of Duette blinds (in Oxford white) with a sheer left stack white curtain. The loungeroom blinds are electronic, which will keep them cleaner and you can’t see the controls, which looks really modern. This gives our lounge room privacy but also has a light modern glow. Ben was responsible for installation and we were really impressed with his precise attention to detail. We couldn’t be happier with our blinds and curtains, and our apartment looks really luxurious.

Cathy from the Five Dock store was very helpful and knowledgeable.
She advised us on colour and texture for the indoor blinds.
The technician who fitted the blinds went out of his way to source the materials needed for the install.

What a great experience with Park Shutters and Blinds - needed to replace sheer curtains in 4 large windows in my Federation house, from the first encounter with Cathy, she understood what I was after and did her very best to match the fabric to my original. She also was very knowledgeable about federation styling and curtaining, She also created new roller blinds for 2 windows Secon asurements were one by Ben who was very particular and exact in his measurements. On delivery one blind was not right and Ben the installer, insisted on taking it back so it was recut to a perfect fit. Overall a lovely experience with an extremely professional, knowledgable and very efficient team, I will be recommending to all my friends!

Ordered replacement blockout blind for our bedroom window - but this time with a motorised open and close function. Order process was easy and time between order and installation was quite short. Installation was quick and explanation on blind operation was comprehensive. Overall experience was excellent.

Dear Cathy,
We had our Luminex blinds installed in early May. One half is manually opened/closed, the other with a remote control. At first we had trouble with the remote control due to our failure to understand the device. Now that that we understand this we are really pleased with the blinds and are proud to show them to our friends. The remote control is for the most opened side of the opening and is well worth the extra money.

The blinds replaced old ones - they are an upgraded version and look fabulous. The service was great and the installation well organised.

From the first consultation, Kate provided friendly, professional and sound advice. Her experience really shone through which helped up tremendously to make the best possible choice for window furnishing for our new home. We were so impressed with Park Shutters & Blinds from the beginning. Our Luxaflex Polysatin shutters are beautiful, easy to keep clean and are a great product. The product is fantastic and feels premium, but I wasn’t happy with the customer service experience and the way my quote and order was processed. Their prices are arm & leg unaffordable compared to the rest of the market because it is Australian made and owned. I paid for the 50% deposit and then they wanted the other 50% before booking the installation. They expected me to sure up the rest asap. If there were alternative ways to process the order, or at least tell me up front what is going to happen, I would have been more prepared. I also had to wait an extra 3-4 weeks to have the last blind installed because they needed to order an extra part. I was left having to follow up on the communication every time, concerned that the lockdown would shut down the industry for months before the job was done. I was left wondering why I am paying so much and to receive a service that was too lazy to bother picking up the phone. I guess I am satisfied, but there’s a lot to be said about room for improvement.

It is with pleasure that I post this review about this exceptional business and the exceptional people that run it. Kate and Ben are absolute professionals and they provided a seamless service from order placement to installation. They gave all the right advice, met our time schedule and the installation was immaculate. I highly recommend them.

We are loving our new blinds and awnings. They have made a real difference to our home.
