This company are not trustworthy and…

This company are not trustworthy and are ignoring my calls, I purchased a vehicle having seen it advised on Auto trader, The day after it was purchased I reported multiple issues to Luxiride Autos who initially said they would resolve, after arranging vehicle collection multiple times and being fobbed off and let down they eventually collected the vehicle, over a week later they delivered the vehicle back however most of the issues had not been fixed. I have subsequently taken the vehicle to a third party garage who have advised a long list of faults and are saying the vehicle has been clocked and has lots of serious faults.
The vehicle was sold as having done 11000 miles and costing 18k, Luxiride Autos say 6 month warranty on their advertisement. Below list of known issues.
Vehicle judders violently driving about 40mph
Front suspension arms rusted through
Steering rack seals gone / need replacing
missing wheel nut on back wheel
electric windows not working
Engine lights on
multiple electrical dash board fault / electrical service required flashing up
missing its spare wheel
Side steps to vehicle rusted through and loose.
excessive rust to chassis
Luxiride Autos appear to have no clear place of business and have no email contact. After calling their number multiple times over days and days they eventfully answered and agreed to take the vehicle back. having arrange a collection date they failed to collect and are now now ignoring my calls.
I am now looking at what options I have legally.
Do not use this company, they are not trustworthy
I would like to use stronger language but the review would not be posted.

Visited recently and had a lovely experience.
Was greeted on their forecourt and asked if I required any help.
Was able to look inside any vehicle of my choice and arranged a test drive.
No pressure to buy anything but good to see that all vehicles are committed to AA car standards.
Will be back soon

Avoid this dealer at all costs !

Avoid this dealer at all costs !! That’s if you can call them a dealer. We travelled from Sheffield to view a mini automatic (2008) car looked great on photos and website. Once we viewed in person it was clear to see the car didn’t appear as the photos but was ok due to age. However, we got the car back to Sheffield with days old MOT certificate and 6 months warranty only to find an oil leak appeared after a couple of weeks. Upon inspection by a mechanic it was found to have 2 oil leaks, 1 of them major plus a hole in the sub frame !! I was informed that the car should never have passed the recent MOT due to the hole in the subframe and it requires attention asap. On top of this ‘Jordan’ promised me the full service history 6 times, surprisingly this has never arrived. The car also has illegal tyres (the wear is on the inside so wasn’t visible) and again should not have passed MOT. Furthermore I was promised the locking wheel nut but this never arrived, after taking it to a local BMW dealership they tried numerous master keys but none fitted so had to be manually wrenched off. I contacted the garage and was promised I would get a call back, the call never came so I rang and rang with no answer, I immediately rang from my partners mobile and the call was answered only to be told that no warranty was on the vehicle !! I’ve now learned a very expensive mistake, the car is my daughters first car after recently passing her test, it beggars belief that they would sell a vehicle that’s not roadworthy as they knew the car was for her. I’ve reported this to the DVSA as the MOT should not have been passed. Let’s hope they clamp down on these mindless con men.
1 star is too much.
Please avoid and buy from a reputable garage / dealer.

Very Dodgy

I would not recommend this place, particularly for women & younger people. Communication was also very poor, and responses were infrequent and unhelpful. When replies were received, they came across as quite abrupt and unprofessional. Overall, my experience was disappointing and they don't have the customers best interest at heart.

AI image generated for sale

We found a Mini Convertible advertised through AA Cars by Luxiride and agreed a price before arranging a long journey to collect it.
We were travelling over 500 miles and the garage knew this in advance. Collection was arranged for 22nd May and we were assured the car would be ready. However, on the morning of collection, after my partner was already halfway there, they called to say the car was not ready after all. This resulted in around 8 hours of unnecessary travel and a completely wasted day.
To their credit, they initially agreed to cover the wasted train fare and rearranged collection for the Saturday.
My partner then took another train on the Saturdayat 6:30am and arrived around 1pm, only to find the car was nothing like the advert. The vehicle was dirty, had dents and scratches, faded paint on the roof, and rubber peeling away from the windscreen. The photos used in the advert appeared heavily edited and did not accurately represent the actual condition of the car.
We refused the vehicle and received our £500 holding deposit back, but Luxiride refused to reimburse the £295 spent on wasted travel costs, despite the significant inconvenience, time lost, and the fact that they knew we were travelling such a long distance.
What is most disappointing is that the same advert has now been reposted for sale again without addressing the issues we experienced.
I would strongly advise anyone considering travelling long distances for a vehicle from this garage to request detailed up-to-date photos and videos before making the journey.
