A most enjoyable and quiet stay. It is a private location with only the other lodge on the opposite side of the gate. I think all the other guests/residents use a different entrance at the other side of the estate, where their accommodation is, as we only saw one other car use that entrance all weekend. It was perfect for us and definitely recommend.
We stayed here 5 years ago and it was amazing. So we returned for my partner’s birthday. Unfortunately it left us disappointed. The cleaners left dead on 4pm so we were waiting outside for them to finish. So floors were still wet when we went inside. The hamper was nowhere near as good as last time and no milk in the fridge for hot drinks. Cobwebs and spiders everywhere and the windows were dirty. Everywhere needs a refresh on the paintwork. Cobwebs were all inside the sauna which put me off using it. The hot tub was really nice. For what we paid per night I just don’t think it was worth it.

Absolutely stunning location and property.
Needs a bit of TLC. Stayed in a lot of beautiful places in UK and I won’t be returning to this one. Beautiful surroundings just a shame about cleanliness of outside at the hot tub it’s just not inviting.
