We returned chairs

We returned chairs. We still did not receive any information for a refund after 1 week. As the chairs were unpacked by the transport company there will be a reduction of 50%!!!
But the chairs are unused.
We can not recommend the company

We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience and that the refund process took longer than expected. We did attempt to reach you by phone to clarify the situation directly, but unfortunately we were not able to connect.

Once returned items are collected, our logistics team must first check and document their condition before a refund can be finalised. This process has now been completed, and the refund has been processed. Depending on the payment provider, it may take a few working days for the amount to appear in your account.

We would like to clarify that our return conditions, including the change‑of‑mind deduction, are outlined on our website and in our terms and conditions and were explained prior to arranging the return. As the chairs were unpacked and now unsaleable, the corresponding reduction was applied in line with these conditions.

While we regret that the particular style of chair you chose to go with your set did not suit your current needs, we do hope you are now enjoying the table and benches that you decided to keep. Should you wish to contact us again in the future, we would of course be happy to assist you in any way we can.

Outstanding product, strong customer service, read the delivery note

I purchased the 120–170cm expandable dining table and Hampton chairs. Both are outstanding. The value for the price has me extremely pleased, and I am not sure if I could be happier.

THE TABLE

Buy this table if you intend to put it somewhere and leave it. It is heavy. The box runs approximately 130×130×30cm at 50–60kg. The wood is well finished, well planed, very straight, and uniform in color and appearance. All permanent joints have an attractive fill. Assembly points are clearly labeled, tolerances are tight, and the base slid into the tabletop with no coercion once things were aligned. I assembled it solo with a rubber mallet and a Phillips head screwdriver.

Two assembly notes: I shimmed one side of the base to address wobble. Every line on the table is straight, so I attribute this to my floor. I also used dry silicone lubricant on the sliding mechanism -- not because of poor fit, but the tolerances were tight enough to introduce some drag. The table surface has no play in either the closed or open position. The steel hardware gives me the impression of being selected for corrosion resistance. I expect this table to last 15 years.

The flat-pack dimensions fit easily through a 70cm balcony door before assembly, which I expect makes this a natural choice for the European market. If seasonality or portability matter to you at all (if you move every few years, for instance), look at the folding options instead. This piece is not designed to be relocated regularly.

THE HAMPTON CHAIRS

The build standard is consistent with the table. Very straight lines, smooth planed surfaces, well reinforced at all stress points. They fold compactly, weigh enough to stay put when you sit down or stand up, and are light enough to carry with one hand. The lean-back angle works well for a long sit such as reading or watching the view. The slat spacing does not press through uncomfortably. No play in any connection; all folding movements are smooth.

A NOTE ON DELIVERY

The Luxus customer service team was responsive and proactive in managing their third-party shipper. I have no complaints there. I would recommend contacting them before your delivery to understand what to expect in your area. Last-mile logistics vary, and delivery norms differ across markets. If white-glove service is available where you are, take it if there is any question about your ability to manage a large, heavy item. Setting those expectations on the front end will save you the back-and-forth. I ordered 10 February, it shipped early March, but the shipper notified me for delivery in early April.

A few hiccups but worth it.

The purchase was easy. A few hiccups with delivery. The customer service liaison was brilliant in sorting out the issues with delivery and missing pieces. Other than that the furniture is amazing! Great quality and free delivery in Ireland is exceptional.

Low rating due to very long delivery…

Low rating due to very long delivery time: 8 weeks wnd 15 mails exchange.
Only after direct contact with shipping company and daily progress monitoring goods the garden set was delivered.

Firstly, we would like to sincerely apologise for the longer-than-expected lead time on your order. This is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide, and we completely understand how disappointing and frustrating this experience must have been for you.

On this occasion, we were unfortunately let down by our logistics partner, which caused delays outside of our usual standards. We contacted our delivery partners on multiple occasions to escalate your order and ensure it was prioritised, and we shared all updates with you as promptly as they were provided to us. While we did our best to keep you informed throughout, we fully appreciate that this does not take away from the inconvenience caused.

We were, however, very relieved to hear that your order arrived in time for Easter as needed. That said, we recognise that the experience leading up to this fell short of expectations.

Please be assured that we have taken this matter seriously. We have made the decision to no longer work with the delivery partner in question to help ensure this does not happen again. At the time your order was placed, our Polish depot was not yet fully operational, which contributed to the delay. However, we’re pleased to confirm that this has now been resolved, and any future orders or replacements will be fulfilled from a local depot, allowing for a much more efficient and reliable service.

Excellent

Furniture as described, good quality,

I was nervous ordering for Luxus as I had never heard of the company before. There were delivery delays, but ordering in January, I would expect this. The product that arrived, was exactly as in the picture. Its now Feb, and we have not used the table and chairs, so I cant speak to that, but the quality and feel of these are seem to be very good. I spoke to customer service too and they were excellent to deal with.

Teak garden furniture set

The garden furniture I ordered arrived within the advertised time frame. It was double boxed for extra protection during transport, however one chair suffered a damaged arm rest caused by the transporters forklift. The company dealt with this entirely to my satisfaction so I would have no hesitation in recommending then to prospective purchasers. The quality of the furniture is excellent.

Garden chairs

I ordered two large teak garden chairs which came ready to be assembled.
Unfortunately if the first one turned out to be easy to assemble, the tenons for the second one were either too large or the holes too small so we had to reduce them and some broke in the holes so we had to add screws to hold the structure together. The wood used for the tenons is flaky and goes to pieces if you hammer too hard. Disappointing considering the price of the teak chairs.

Good quality for a fair price

The quality of the garden furniture is really good. Ordering and delivery went very smooth, too. The only thing that needs improvement ist the communication about a realistic delivery date. We waited quite a while for our furniture and get no really information when it will arrive. Nevertheless, it's still an excellent value for money offer!

Still waiting on delivery - into week 10

I am now into my 10th week of waiting for my order of a garden table and chairs. The headline delivery time was 2-3 weeks.
When this date was missed, I was told that the small print for this order was 4-6 weeks.
So far, I have sent 9 mails for updates which have been met with fairly vague responses. Nearly 2 weeks ago I was told that it had finally cleared customs and was being quality checked before delivery.
A very poor service so far.
