I was sold on the lifetime replacement

I was sold on the lifetime replacement, however the micro USB clips (two little clips on the male end that goes into your phone port) are poorly made and are weak they quit holding within a month, maybe! So I did returns on them every 6+ months. This last round they claim I'm mis-using them and will no longer honor the free replacement warranty. No warning about it on my last return. It would have been nice to know the lifetime warranty meant to their discrepancies. You have to send a picture of the cut cords, so I am not gaining anything to replace them other than using the warranty to its words. When I asked what was going on they blamed all my devices as the problem not their products!

"The decision has been made by the owner to cancel the warranty on this account due to the total number of cables sent and the number of times they have been replaced. It indicates there is an underlying issue and sending more will not resolve it. We are not able to send any further replacements on this account, 23 replacement cables have previously been sent."

I decided the fight wasn't worth the product. I was tired of doing all the steps needed to get a replacement. I ordered from another place and they offer a 3 year replacement warranty, and the cables are 100% better quality!
I'm guessing Luxvar Type C cords work good. But we first ordered Micro and they would not do a replacement with Type C! Which is what most of our devices use now anyways! Type C doesn’t need those stupid little clips to stay connected into your devices!

False advertising!

I recently purchased a 10 foot braided 3X charging cable from this company and I was sold on the speed and durability of the cable and the fact that it has a lifetime replacement warranty if it ever breaks. The following day after I made the purchase I received an email from LuXvar. Charles writes the following disturbing information about the cable I just purchased.
"I want to point out a problem that could cause your new 3X charging cables to not charge as fast as they're capable of.
Now, this problem has nothing to do with the 3X charging cables you just ordered.
The problem is the wall and car chargers you already own.
You see, most wall plugs and car chargers on the market are not fast charge compatible.
Your new 3X Charging Cables are capable of handling over 27 watts of power.
All fast charge phones, tablets and devices can handle 10-27 watts depending on the device.
The problem is, most wall plugs and car chargers on the market today only push 5 watts at peak power.
It doesn't matter how amazing your 3X cables are, if your wall plug or car charger is only pushing 5 watts...
That's all the power your devices will get and you'll continue to charge at slow speeds.

On the other hand, if you want to unleash the full potential of your new 3X Charging Cables...
I highly recommend you get the matching 3X Wall Plugs and Car Chargers."

I wrote back to Charles with the following:
"Thank you for this information Charles, but I am very very disappointed with the information you provided. Because no where in the website I first visited, provides this vital and critical information. I was sold on the fast charging 3x cable, but to me this is false advertising and fraud. Now I have to purchase wall and car chargers so that this cable will perform to it's specifications otherwise it won't perform "Really"! Why isn't this information provided on the website and why when opening up the desired cable (3, 6 or 10 ft) is this info not specified. Don't you think customers should no this up front prior to making a purchase instead of after-the-fact. This is important to me and how I spend my money. Now it changes everything, spend another $50 + in order to get the full benefits of this cable product. I am angry and want to cancel this order for a full refund.

Thank you and sincerely hope you understand that this is totally unfair practices from your company.

I hope you can see and understand what the issue is and how disappointed I was when I received the email notification.

The most important thing to remember, although these cables may be durable and have a lifetime replacement, the 3X charging capabilities only works if you have a charger with the capacity to output 27 watts or over instead of your standard 5 watt charger.

My rating is justified and I would have given a 5, but again this is unfair practices from this company.
