They are not a helpful service provider

Beware Ly.com – I was charged for a flight ticket that never existed.

I booked a flight through Ly.com and paid via Hong Leong Bank credit card, but the airline later confirmed there was no valid ticket or PNR. Ly.com kept the money and ignored refund requests.

I’ve filed a dispute with Hong Leong Bank and a consumer complaint with KPDN and NCCC. If you also lost money to Ly.com, please report your case — together we can stop them from preying on Malaysian travelers.

Steps that worked for me:
1️⃣ Call your card issuer to open a “Goods or services not received” dispute.
2️⃣ Gather all proof — booking emails, airline response, payment record.
3️⃣ File official complaint at

Worst Experience Ever – Be Very Careful With LY.com

I am extremely disappointed with LY.com and feel compelled to warn others.

Before booking, I double-confirmed every single detail, including the passenger names. Everything seemed correct on the website. But when the ticket was emailed to me, the name spelling was wrong — a mistake that was not shown during the booking confirmation.

What shocked me even more was that LY.com asked me to pay half the ticket price just to correct a simple spelling error. That is absolutely ridiculous and feels incredibly unfair. Instead of helping resolve a genuine issue, their response was cold, unhelpful, and showed zero empathy.

The customer service was very poor, with slow replies and no real intention to assist. The whole situation left me feeling like this is a tactic to squeeze more money from customers after booking. Whether intentional or not, it comes across as extremely unethical and disappointing.

Based on my experience, I will never use LY.com again. Please be extremely careful before booking with them.

Horrendous scam

Horrendous scam, i forget to book my self and my sister a flight, then it failed to book my sister which is underage. Now i tried to book her separately which clearly can do because she is underage. Now i tried cancellation or refunding my booking in which i just learned that it is non refundable, but there’s no cancellation option for the refund. Bought tickets many times

I bought tickets from this company many times. Till now, I did not face any issue. I saw many people made complaints against this company. One thing I should mention that my flights were domestic in Canada and just non-stop. Still I am watching and will change the rating if I encounter any issue. Till then they deserve 5 stars from me.

I booked a flight dated Oct 17, 2025 with Cebu Pacific through Ly.com because they offered the lowest fare. After making the payment, I received a confirmation email stating that my ticket would be issued within 48 hours. Unfortunately, even as my flight time was approaching, no ticket was issued.

Eventually, I received a call informing me that they would just process a refund instead. This caused a great deal of stress, inconvenience and wasted time.

🚫 I strongly advise others to avoid booking through Ly.com. Low prices are not worth the frustration and unreliability.

I have booked multiple flights using…

I have booked multiple flights using LY.COM - with no problem - other than being patient in receiving the booking reservation. The website does state that it can take up to 48 hours to receive this and it has in my case taken 48 hours - but I have received the booking and it was confirmed by the carrier. Although the experience may look shady - I can honestly state that this is LEGIT.

I am using ly.com again - you can decide based on your own savings.

Unprofessional Customer Service: The customer service I received was appalling. The representatives were consistently unprofessional, interrupting me mid-sentence and failing to address my questions adequately. It felt more like a frustrating game of tag than a genuine customer service interaction. Each time I attempted to express my concerns or clarify my inquiries, I was met with interruptions that made it impossible to convey my issues fully.

I found myself repeating questions multiple times, only to receive vague or irrelevant answers that did little to alleviate my confusion. Despite speaking with seven different agents throughout my ordeal, I never received a clear answer regarding my concerns or the policies that governed my situation. This lack of effective communication left me increasingly frustrated and feeling as though my concerns were not valued.

When I attempted to cancel a flight, I was met with yet another round of disappointment. Despite my clear request for a refund, the representatives informed me that they couldn't issue one but failed to provide a coherent explanation for this policy. This company is a scam

This company is a borderline scam. They lure you in with cheap airline prices. They issue an itinerary giving you the "feel" of a ticket but the PNR is invalid. And then, your nightmare begins. Since the PNR is invalid, the actual airlines is also bound and can't help you much. Ly's own customer care is the absolute worst. They place agents on call who can barely speak any english and its like talking to an AI wall. They TAKE your money and DONT issue the ticket. Its a massive fraud.

Horrendous

Horrendous! Scammers! Took an extra baggage handling fee just before payment although I had not selected any extra baggage. Only when the payment is proceeding does the amount appear! BEWARE!
I called support within minutes and was met with a rude helpline assistant who just told me he'd ask the airline for a refund which obviously is a lie as the add ons are non refundable. The ticket was issued without additional luggage and that was only added on as special service request later.
The extra baggage of 20KG COST MORE THAN THE FLIGHT!
WHAT A SCAM! STAY AWAY FROM THIS AGENT!
PS. It's interesting, on Skyscanner they have good reviews, on Trustpilot atrocious. I think Skyscanner has its own scam going on here.

LY.COM TOOK $240 CAD additional of your money, you didn't need to spend in the first place..

NEVER NEVER book with them ... I actually write my date before paying all was ok. After paying I didn't check the reservation. One week after to look what is my number of reservation I saw the wrong date. Call them because before all was ok. I bought a ticket recently from ly.com . I
received an itinerary from them and l tried to check in online on the day of my trip like l usually do. Sun Country blocked my check in online. Upon arrival at the airport, Sun country refused to let me to check in unless l paid for another ticket all over again. Sun country stated the Ly.com used a stolen credit card to purchase my ticket and it declined. I reached out to their customer service and they said they can’t do nothing about it because it’s a different time zone in China or wherever they are. Unbelievable to say the least. Ly.com customer service told me to go ahead and buy another ticket. I lost the money l paid them for my ticket and they have not refunded my credit card. They also ask for my bank account details to refund the second ticket which they claim will take 3 months to pay into my personal account instead of my bank card that l paid with. Ly.com tickets are from scammers. BEWARE of the cheap tickets and buy directly from the airlines.
