Ly.com Legit - domestic flight

After booking the domestic flight, I received the confirmation emails immediately. There was no flight confirmation information. I called the airlines and they confirmed my booked flight. Only 4 instead of 5 stars because of the panic of no flight info after reading all the bad reviews.
Definitely booking with my.com again!

Does as advertised

Bought a one-way UK domestic Easyjet flight to travel during the bank holiday weekend. Because of that, the flight prices were all jacked up but Ly.Com had the best (lowest) price on google flights for my trip. I read less than glowing Ly.com reviews on Truspilot and almost backed out but thought that it really wasn't that much money to take a gamble on (because I might use them for a more expensive trip if the experience is good). The website didn't look the most professional but payment was easy and I received my booking info almost immediately. I then checked the info with the main EasyJet website and it was legit. I have my boarding pass ready. Based on this, I would definitely try them again.

Easy to book! AirNZ trip

I went through skyscanner to search flights from Bali to Auckland. Ly.com was the cheapest option and they didnt charge a card fee like other sites. The flight was with AirNZ
After I brought the ticket, I went to go look for reviews and found a lot of bad reviews. I went to their chat support and messaged and I got a response straight away from Nick. Told me not to worry and i'd get my ticket.
I have received my ticket no problem and had it confirmed with AirNewZealand
I would use Ly.com again.

It's crooks!!

It's crooks!!! They took a money but never sent me a boarding pass. They sent the same emails and didn't unswerving on my questions. Absolutely rubbish. I lost 58£.

Total scam

Total scam. Charged my card without me authorizing it for $366.60 and is refusing to refund. And then they lied to PayPal when I tried to dispute. Customer service is a joke. Scammers and liars at ly.com aka travelgo aka Chinese scammers. They should not be allowed to do business. Fraudulent company ripping off consumers. DO NOT USE THESE CROOKS!!!!

This so-called business

This so-called business, based in China, somehow managed to mishandle my flight booking. I needed to be somewhere for the funeral of my friend's 17 year old son. I finally managed to find the contact information for this China-based company (a clue that these people are not legit). The customer service representative actually gave me a virtual shrug when I explained the situation and asked if they could please help me modify the outgoing flight so it reflected the date we actually wanted and originally requested so I could be there for a grieving friend.

Shout out to Spirit Airlines who immediately resolved the issue for me and offered their condolences.

It's called customer service for a reason, Ly.com. And while you might fool people into using your services once, after experiencing it, there's no way you're fooling them twice.

There's also such a thing as human compassion. If any of your representatives had an ounce of it, this review would be unnecessary.

Believe me when I say that I will now take time out of my day to share my experience of your company because it is important to me that others who need to travel do not have the experience I did thanks to your company.

Do not book with this company

Do not book with this company. Our flight was cancelled so the airline refunded the flight amount and this company has decided to hold the funds hostage. We had to file a dispute with our credit card company to get our refund. Customer service is absolute trash

Don't book through Ly.com or Spirit Airlines

If I could give 0 stars I would. This is a terrible company! It's a Chinese company. The customer service is the worst! I cancelled my flight after SO many problems. I asked for a refund from both Ly.com and Spirit Airlines. Spirit says that they refunded the money back to a card, which isn't even my card and Ly.com says they haven't received it. Spirit saying they won't assist cause I didn't book through them directly and Ly.com telling me to contact Spirit. It's a never ending cycle. All this BS and frustration was all because they put the wrong gender and wrong contact info on my booking info. And now, I'm being scammed outta my money by both companies.

1st try bought and it is reliable

this is my very 1st time buying tickets fr ly.com. I went to Skyscanner.com and showed that ly.com to get the best price that I needed. i bought tickets on 19 July at midnight Malaysia time. After I got the invoice I called the ly.com to double-check my booking tickets. The customer service was so helpful and told me that booking tickets would take around 2 days. Luckily 20 July in the morning Malaysia time I received the booking ticket and it's valid by the Airlines I fly. So this is the price of the cheaper tickets, it is just a matter of time.

This company is legit

This company is legit! I booked a flight from CRK to BKK cebu pacific with them. Cheapest price i found so i took a leap of faith and if i lose the money i’ll just take it as a learning experience. Cebu pacific moved the flight to a different date. I cancelled the flight and Ly.com refunded with no issue. They respond to emails promptly. Their phoneline was also working and customer service was great. I’ll buy from them again.

just booked flight from changi to chennai for four person (one way) paid by c.c very fast and easy. Received reply for payment confirmation with Order No and booking details. Next in 10-12 minutes received email for itinerary with airline booking ref and eticket numbers. To confirm checked the booking ref no with Air India website and all details already updated.

The booking service is legit - customer service seems suspect.

Like many others here, I booked on ly.com after hopping on a VERY cheap flight from Calgary to Phoenix. Ly's price was $214, next lowest was about $420. The below is my experience only, and I can't speak to any of the other fraudulent claims:

The Good: The departing flight was perfectly fine. I got my confirmation email shortly after selecting the flight. One itinerary in entirely Chinese and the same itinerary in entirely English. I received text message updates from Ly on travel day similar to any other airline and was able to check in with WJ with zero issues.

The Bad: Return flight from Phoenix to Calgary was cancelled due to the WestJet strike. WestJet says they are handcuffed to reach out directly to the third-party agency to receive a refund. I've followed up both on their website (had to translate every page into English) and through the email provided on my itinerary. I'm not confident I'll get my money back - but if I do, I'm happy to update this review to 5 stars.

TLDR: If you are booking with Ly - make sure you will make NO modifications to your flight or you might be in for some trouble. If you are a simple flier who doesn't miss or modify flights, I honestly believe you're fine to book with Ly.

It's legit

It was alright, it's a chinese company with the website in translated english, so it tends to make people wary.

I searched for a flight through Google for singapore to london, and the cheapest turned up on the list with ly.com. I made payment through ly.com which looks like a deceptively simple layout site in english (but if you were to go to their original site in chinese, it looks a lot more comprehensive for a booking site).

Payment went through, I got the email of the order from them. I looked up the origin, and got directed to download a chinese app, which would be daunting for most (a detailed chinese booking app, that is similar to the chinese version website).

Knowing that my airline is Qatar, I sought their online customer service, to see if my booking was legitimate. They are able to see a booking with my name, and advised that the ticket itinerary will only be issued out 48 hours later.

And yes I did get the ticket itinerary from ly.com with the booking reference of Qatar, which thereafter i retrieved the official e-ticket from Qatar. I am also able to log into qatar with a new sign-in, retrieve the booking, and make any amendments that I need to.

So, going through a third party to book this one-way ticket, the price difference was about s$50 savings, the amount I paid to ly.com for the booking vs the ticket price reflected on my Qatar e-ticket. The savings might add up for some people with multiple trips.

The tradeoff is the tiny bit of hassle to retrieve the official ticket for my own assurance that I have a seat, the wait time for the airline to issue the ticket to ly.com to email that to me, that anyone would not need to go through if you booked direct with airline or with another popular booking site.

Booked a flight between Vishakapatnam to Chennai via ly.com website. They offered competitive rates. Got the booking confirmation and ticket PNR within 30 mins of paying the booking amount. Checked the PNR in the airline website. It’s legit. Thanks a lot ly.com

My bad experience happened on july 1, 2024- after paid for the air ticket by credit card, i have received an email for manage my booking ,clicked on it, it said i have not paid for the tickets and i was asked to make payment again—- i quickly canceled my booking n called credit card com… what for go through such trouble n damage yr brain, nerve system when you cld buy from other more reliable sites
