They switched automatic pop-up randomly, no matter of settings in your app. NEVER save your bank cards in the app, because you cannot control charges then.

Works ok as long as you don't need their customer service.
I ran into an error on their website during trying to top up my phone credit, so I thought the process had failed and asked Paypal to cancel the payment. Sounds like the same issue that already Gerben van Leeuwen has described in his review.
So after a month suddenly my phone number gets blocked. I contacted the customer service, they could not help and said I would have to write an email (all were friendly tough). Which I did, so they asked me to do this and they promised me that they would unluck my phone number. Already taking 10 days now. And when I ocasionally ask about the progress of my issue they say "tomorrow" or "we are in the final phase". Ridiculous how a little thing like that can take so long.
EDIT: I wish it would not have taken 10 days and a bad review here, but in the end they fixed my problem.
For anyone having troubles with Lycamobile, I can recommend contacting Lycamobile ES also via Twitter, they were always rather quick to respond my messages.

Causing suffer in a foreign city
When I first moved to Madrid I bought a prepaid sim from lyca for 7gb internet and some minutes (didn care minutes as i just needed internet). While it was getting close to the end of the month, i toped up online to renew my bundle (just as their website stated). However they took my 20 euros and never renewed my package, just gave my some minutes and 0 internet which was not the package that I bought. And now I have to transfer my number, since I already given this number to every institution in Madrid, and it will take 4 days!!

Horrible - Took my money, gave nothing in return
Horrible. Bought a SIM - 15 euro - which worked for less than 1 minute before corrupting. When my friend called customer service, they were verbally abused for asking for help on my behalf (I don't speak Spanish), and they forcibly cancelled my SIM. I was told to then call back from the mobile that doesn't work (?!!!?). When I tried to call back on a second phone, I had to battle the prompts in Spanish, so took 10 minutes to get an operator who spoke English. I was then told that it was a 24 - 48 hours for my sim to be unblocked (amazing that things can be blocked instantly, but take days to unblock, aye?) and that the trick to getting sim cards to work was "to make sure they are put in your phone". Yup, thanks, I'm sure that was the problem.
They then advised me in order to get an English speaking operator next time I need to dial the same number and press 2, which was absolutely false (from memory, that's the marketing department), and hung up on me.
Company uses deceptive pricing and…
Company uses deceptive pricing and activation policies with intention of making pay their customers for the desired service multiple times. One of such strategies is that if a balance is added, the previous plan does not automatically get activated. Instead the balance is consumed by paying for the internet on MB basis. There should be a notification in the form a text message that no plan has been activated and at what price per MB the balance is consumed.
This is really the worst mobile company…
This is really the worst mobile company you can imagine. Please do never business with them. The website works bad. I tried to top up, but the paypal online didn't work directly. I asked Paypal to get my money back and Lycamobile decided to block me / put me offline. I can't call / internet from January 4th. The customer service on the phone can't help me and they don't respond to email. It's really a hell. I never expierenced something like this in my life.
It's their fault they can't manage their paypal payments and they didn't respond to paypal. And they punish me with putting me offline and now they won't help me. Almost a week!!
Overcharging and terrible customer service!
i was persistently overcharged, amounting to over 100 euros! None of the automatic top-ups happen, bundles were not renewed!. Customer service is not responding! Absolutely terrible company!!

I ordered a sim card online but i never receive it.
I’m waiting for a refund almost two months, customer service very slow to reply to my mails(minimum one week to get a reply),they never give me a solution but it alwasys was just a copy and paste from absurd templates.
Im just wondering if in this company work some menager or they hire only people that don’t help customers at all.
Im very sick about this company and its customer service so please DONT BUY ANY SIM CARD ONLINE

It is almost impossible to cancel as they keep enabling auto top up.. Worst service I have ever experienced.. do not use them!
Worst experience ever
Worst experience ever. Recharged 10EUR on my SIM via internet which gave me 20 EUR in Lyca credit. Called customer service, who said they would activate a 5GB package. The money disappeared, no package was activated. Calling again, they have told me i have no credit... simply money disappeared. Personel was RUDE, and talked in a high voice and with a very bad tone.. Lyca seems like a VERY VERY inserious company! !.. STAY AWAY !!
I have opened a case with VISA to pay money back, since I did not get anything for my money.
Lack of sms - very bad consequences! Stay away from lyca!
Lack of sms text message support is really bad!
It's worse than you might think...
What I did not know, and which you can not read anywhere, is that you can not recieve autogenerated sms messages when paying for an item online.
I didn't realise how catastrofic this is until I had to top up my balance online. This is simply not possible for me, because like many others, as a safe guard, I get a text message with a code sent by sms whenever I buy online.
So since they don't support autogenerated text messages, I can not buy anything online after I got a lyca phone number. I buy many things online, so this is a Catastrophy!
Get another company that support text messages. They can be important for many things, but you may not find out until you are in a situation where it really counts!
I also think, that the fact you can not call out, when there is nothing on your balance, even if you have already paid for the bundles, is quite annoying. There is absolutely no reason for it, it's made to get more money from you, but iut's really annoying and time consuming.
If you are in a place where you cannot top up, then you cannnot use your phone! My god!! This is so bad!
They are blocking your phone from all the numbers you already paid to call!
I definitely cannnot recommend lycamobile.
Worst service
I have never experienced such bad service! They were irritated from the start, rude, and very impatient. One woman just kept yelling that she needed my pin - because I was not sure which my pin was and trying to have her explain if it was the one I received on a text. They don't speak ANY english, even though you "press 2 for english", and even though I do speak Spanish more or less fluently, it is hard understanding everything on a bad reception and an impatient Spanish woman.
If only there were no problems with the phone, this would have been fine. But during our 5 months with them, they blocked our numbers twice (even though they were fully charged) and the rest of the time it only worked sporadically.
