this carrier has the worst customer service ever, there isn't much you can do on the mobile website, wait 1 hour for them to answer and they will give you hard time, I lost my phone and I won't be able to get a OTP to swap my sim. that is it, I lost my number.

I can’t even give one star for the Lyca mobile company..it’s been more than three months they didn’t fix my issues.i recharge every month $31 and I have this number for 10 years and they don’t appreciate their customer..worst customer service ever..some of the customer service agent can’t even speak proper English..I wasted almost $100 for nothing on this cheap Lyca mobile..I won’t recommend any of my friend..first of all it’s takes an hour to pick up the call and second they don’t even resolve the problem..forever bye 👋 to this worst and cheap Lyca mobile….please never get any SIM card for your phone from this company.

I am posting this as a warning to anyone considering Lyca Mobile: Do not give them your real credit card info.
In May 2025, I tried to sign up, but the service wouldn't activate. I contacted their customer support via chat, and they "assured" me my account was canceled and a refund was coming. Fast forward 6 months, I just discovered they have been charging my card every single month since.
When I called to demand my money back for a service I never used (and they can clearly see 0 usage on their end), they flat out refused to refund me. They are essentially robbing customers through "ghost" subscriptions. I’m currently disputing every charge with my bank.
Lesson learned, if you must use them, use a virtual card or a gift card. Once they have your billing info, they do not let go, even after they tell you it's canceled. Avoid at all costs!

I have been trying to swap from physical sim to e-sim. I tried online, but gave me another phone number. Called the customer service in the morning, waited for 30 minutes, customer service picked up the phone then transfer to tech support (I think), waited for another 15 minutes. I needed to stop waiting since I needed to go to work. Called back after work, waiting for more than an hour then they hung up. Waste of time!! Really really bad customer service!!

Customer service sucks! I have been calling on several occasions to activate a SIM. I'm on hold for more than 2 hours every time I call these people. It is beyond ridiculous. I have been paying for a phone plan for the past 3 months without a working SIM..... What a ridiculous company!!

I bought eSIM on 1/14/2026 online but my number still wont activate. I have called customer service every day but no one either picks up or can help me. I was on the phone with a representative and he is hung up my phone. My number is still off and it’s been a whole week

A friend from Bulgaria came back to USA. Bought new SIM card for American phone before leaving Bulgaria. Using automated menu, tried activating it. Was told new number would be sent via text which he cannot receive due to SIM card not being activated. After hours of calling, being put on hold and call being dropped, finally got ahold of a live person. She was impossible to understand as her microphone or whatever kept garbling words or cutting out entirely. Not a good look for a phone company. I told him he would need to go in person a store front. Called a nearby store. Phone ID came up as African Food Embassy. Guy who answered said to call back Monday despite store hours showed him to open for a few more hours.
I told my Bulgarian friend he needs to find another phone service. And yes, he has previously used Lyca and has an Unlimited International plan.

Great services buy your Sim activate it your self don't u ever call customer service ,they seems to be very polite ,but don't understand English ,they screw me big time ,this man deactivated my services and activate into my daughter's phone and he told me it's ok , as he hung up I had no services .

I’ve spent many days going back and forth with customer service trying to get them to send me my invoices, and they keep claiming they’ve already sent them, which is an absolute lie. They don’t help with anything at all — quite the opposite. They only put up obstacles and do everything possible to drive you crazy instead of solving the problem. It’s unbelievable how incompetent they are. I will never recommend this company.

Appalling service. Simple things are difficult such as changing an email address for contact. It cannot be done apparently. Their bundle Plans , website are all complicated and user unfriendly. Changing providers is complicated and off-putting. I feel I am stuck with them and regret choosing them. International plans which they promote as their main advantage have not proven to be of any benefit for me.

On Monday, January 19th, I called customer service in SPANISH to get help transferring my number from a physical SIM card to an eSIM. A man answered who I don't think spoke very good Spanish. He told me he couldn't help me and that I should call back tomorrow. Well, I called again today, January 21st, because due to the problem he wouldn't help me with, I needed my account number and PIN to transfer my number to T-Mobile. He told me HE COULDN'T HELP ME!!! He said I should look for that information in the Lycamobile app. I got very angry and told him that if he didn't like helping people, he should quit his job so someone who actually wants to work and help customers could take his place!!! That person is completely unqualified for customer service!!!! They are losing customers because of this terrible service!!!

This company is very dishonest and actively steal from customers. From refusing to refund to overcharging.
There should be a law in the US to protect the public from these scammers!

Company since offered to resolve issue but only words for Trustpilot... truth is, they did nothing but lie. The BBB has since upheld my complaint but Lycamobile have not responded to them.

Use MINT MOBILE instead. I wish I'd never tried Lyca.
