I feel very fortunate to have found Dave Slater a Chiropractor at the Lyndhurst Chiropractic Clinic. He fully listened to my concerns regarding the muscle pain I have been experiencing recently, taken my full medical history details and adopted a ‘holistic’ approach to my condition.
He has advised me regarding specific exercises to help and preformed gentle adjustments to relax and re align problematic areas which have helped me immensely. A confident practitioner who can not recommend highly enough.

My Wife and I have been visiting Mathew for a good number of years now, he always makes time to see one of us when we break (usually me) at short notice and is always extremely professional and knowledgable in all aspects muscular skeletal. I would highly recommend Matthew and the practice.

I met with Matthew and he listened to me when I explained the neck pain I was getting. He asked questions and investigated thoroughly. Never rushed, he told me what the plan was and what he expected to happen. I felt reassured and the treatment got rid of the pain pretty much in step with what he thought. All very good, thank you.

I have been treated by Matthew and the LCC Team for just under 10 years now following a flare up of an old rugby injury. I was in intense discomfort with Cervical disc inflammation and associated radiculopathy. My GP had done nothing, whilst a very expensive (private) consultation with an orthopaedic specialist inferred that my 'only' treatment option was spinal surgery. However, having heard about this new and really good chiropractor in the village of Lyndhurst (Matthew Garfath LCC) I booked in a consultation, and the rest as they say, was history. Through a fantastic combination of kind, empathic and detailed diagnosis, underpinned by an absolute professionalism and knowledge/competence, Matt devised and delivered a treatment plan that has changed my life completely. Not only did he treat the initial problem, he provided a comprehensive rehabilitation and exercise plan to ensure I continued to effectively manage the injury site and prevent any reoccurrence. Some 10 years later I still see Matt for periodic check-ups in order to assure the freedom of movement and alignment around the effected area. Throughout this time I have also referred a number of other colleagues, friends and family members into the care of LCC; all of whom have had extremely positive experiences (and indeed outcomes). I will be encouraging them to add their own comments onto this site also. I honestly could not begin to thank Matt and the team enough for the bespoke and incredibly caring treatment I have always received over the past 10 years...Thanks all x

When I first saw Matthew at the beginning of last month, I could only stand for 10 minutes at a time because of back pain. Now after about 6-7 treatments and doing the exercises I was given, I can manage half an hour and looking forward to this continuing to increase. An unexpected bonus was finding I have more energy now than before because of my increased activity.

This is a well overdue review following treatment at Lyndhurst chiropractic Clinic some time ago. I had the misfortune to suffer excruciating back pain due to a bulging disc despite taking multiple prescribed analgesics. Right from the initial consultation, I felt Matt gave clear explanations, reassurances and was very empathetic.I was never promised a quick fix and it wasn't but since completing treatment I have had no recurring symptoms. I am sure a contributing factor to this is due to the strategies Matt suggested in caring for my back during my daily activities. At one stage I feared I may not have been able to have returned to my job as a nurse but the treatment I received from Matt enabled me to be able to do this and for that I am very grateful. Although I hope I never have to use the services of Lyndhurst Chiropractic Clinic again, I would not hesitate to do so if the need ever arose and would highly recommend to others needing a highly skilled chiropractor.

As someone who has suffered knee, ankle and back issues and have spent a fortune on chiropractic services, seeing Matt was revelation.
He provides a great overall service and takes his time to understand what the root cause is versus some that just have you in and out for an adjustment.
If you need a chiropractor Matt is the only one you should see.

Matthew is excellent, he is really invested in his patients' well-being. His treatment for my back pain has been effective and we will continue to work on it. He takes joy in explaining what the treatment is and is keen for you to be invested in it. Could not recommend more.

Bits of me periodically break or otherwise give out (cricket/old man) and Matt is always my first port of call. Almost always sorts me out himself but is not afraid to refer me onwards if necessary. Nothing has dropped off this season (yet) but I am sure I shall be seeing him again before too long.

Significant back pain - exemplary advice. MRI advised. Very effective treatment. Long lasting relief and excellent preventive advice.

Having visited Lyndhurst Chiropractic Clinic I have been very impressed with the experience after being recommended them from a friend who mentioned that foot pain issues is something they can look into as well. After no success of physio and seeing my GP, it was so helpful to have an in depth discussion and assessment where Matthew could pinpoint the issue straight away. Very reassuring to have someone listen to the problem as a whole and make a treatment plan going forwards. Was a friendly and professional experience from start to finish and would highly recommend them.

A couple of years ago Matthew referred me back to Dr and an X-ray showed a T8 fracture which was not picked up at the time by hospital. I cannot thank Matthew for the excellent treatment and concern he showed me. He has since treated me on & off for shoulder pain & leg pain. Excellent treatment by Matthew & his staff.
