I am very glad I stumbled upon LZ and Ivan Rostrom. Ivan is what everyone would hope for in a driving instructor, calm, funny, knows his stuff and knows how to teach it. Additionally he's also good at noticing and helping with nerves and fears. Questions are always welcome which meant I could just ask about every little or big thing I didn't get during the lessons. Theory lessons were well structured and presented with a sprinkle of jokes and I was looking forward to every driving lesson - they felt as a calming break in the rushed everyday of a parent with small kids. Ivan's confidence in my progress and skills made me trust myself with a car which was one of my biggest challenges in the process.
Overall, I recommend highly!

I took my driving education with LZ Løreskole. They offer the education in English which was a must for me. I was lucky enough to have Ivan Rostrom as my driving instructor and man oh man was I not disappointed!

Ivan is a fantastic instructor with a great sense of humour and you can really tell that he just simply loves his job! He knows his material in and out always made sure we understood the material he was teaching. Ivan is always more than happy to answer our questions at any time of the day (would reply when he could). Needless to say, I am a big fan of his teaching style and would definately recommend both LZ and Ivan to any whom want to learn how to drive

I am honestly very happy I decided to do my driving education with LZ and Ivan as it felt more like a fun time with learning mixed in.

I have attended the English classes for manual gear, our teacher was Ivan Rostrom. A great guy. Easily one of the best teachers I've had in my life.
I'll go over something I think was good and something that wasn't so good in that particular order.

Good things:

Best instructor ever.
Always helping out with any questions you have no matter if it's one of the planned drive sessions or a random question at Saturday 11PM. ALWAYS there to help you out with anything regarding cars/traffic rules.

A fine car.
I've driven Audi A3, always clean, not a scratch on it. Driving fine and easy.

Theory classes are fun and informative.
The way Ivan introduced theory to us was never boring, and always overwhelmingly informative.
Never ever had I been unsure of anything, because every single question I had was answered immediately and as many times as I needed to understand the answer.
Ivan also recommended us to use teoriklar.eu to get ready for the police theory tests. And it was a damn good recommendation, if I ever had one.

Planned driving lesions.
Every lesion you have in your standard package (16 hours of driving with instructor + 4 hours of slippery surface) is planned to teach you a certain driving skill.
This way you stack up driving competence in certain areas one on top of the other. In the end it makes you easily do things you might have considered hard at first.
At one point you will have a mini "exam" lesion, which let's instructor evaluate your ability to drive. Then the feedback is given and the instructor tells you if you need to have additional driving hours.
The drives always go in two 45 minute lesions, 750kr each.
By the time i started learning, my driving experience was roughly 2 hours behind the wheel almost a decade ago. Considering that, i only had to buy three additional classes in the end, before the instructor considered I'm ready for the driving test.

Driving before the police driving test.
Before you go driving with the police instructor, you will have a lesion with Ivan. He will explain certain things, have a conversation with you to make you calmer and boost your confidence in general.
You will also go through some of the necessary legal things about the car. Like the legal requirements on the lights, tires etc.

Something you should know about:

Price.
LZ is certainly not the cheapest school out there. But i have to say, the price is well deserved.
You are gaining just as much, as you paid for.
No regrets about a single krona spent.
Although, if you don't have a good financial situation, you might consider something else.
There is no guarantee it will be enough for you, to only have the standard lesion package and there's no guarantee you'll pass the driving test on the first time.
Even though Ivan did everything to help me pass, even though I was 100% ready to pass I still did fail two attempts because i freaked out a lot and couldn't control myself during the exam.
That might happen to you, and that won't be cheap.
Keep in mind.

The not so good part:

There is literally one thing I wasn't happy about.
While we had been going through my driving lesions, I sometimes had two weeks in between the lesions.
I felt it was too much for me, and the confidence I I've built over the previous lesion had started to disappear.
It did turn out well in the end. But if I must give some critique, it has to be that.
It might have also been that way because of corona restrictions and really long waiting periods for the exams, but I don't know for sure. Just a theory of mine.

Overall, i thank LZ a lot. I thank Ivan Rostrom in particular.
I highly advise you to choose LZ if you feel you can afford it.
I doubt you'll ever be in better hands.

Ivan was a caring teacher always willing to help and try to adjust his time so you can practice. It might feel like the practices are a little hard some times but that will make the final test easy, as you will be really well prepare.

If you are looking for a school to learn driving and get the license, hands down- LZ is the one you should get yourself admitted into.

Also, I must thank Ivan, my instructor, who was always there to keep me on track, even though I made lots of silly mistakes.

I will always recommend LZ driving school, and Ivan as instructor to anyone who would ask me for the recommendation.

I made the registration for the driving lessons with LZ Kørskol and that was the worst decision I have made with my money, I started to take driving school last year in July with Ivan. I would like to tell you that I had very bad and unpleasant experiences with Ivan Rostrøm during driving.
Ivan Rostrøm has been very rude, disrespectful, and angry while driving with me all the time. He shout on me and very discouraged me every single day of driving. He is saying that I am very very bad in driving every single time since i am taking class and till the day of exam.
He was always saying that I am going to fail and be ready for the new exam date and more and more extra classes. Because of this he forced me to take more class and I spent more than 23,000 DKK on the driving license without failing any exam. Moreover I took extra lessons (3000DKK) from other driving school just because I wanted to avoid this guy in the car. And the teacher from other school was always giving me good feedback and putting confidence on my driving.
More than this he always looks at his phone when I am driving and receiving the calls from other texting, replying them and does not give much attention to my driving, he never said a word or appreciated me to make me feel confident while driving.
On the day of my driving exam Ivan was very very very rude and he slammed the break twice on the road when I had the situation in control in the car and aware of everything in the surrounding, he shouted very badly and scared me, discouraged me just before the examination.
Not only this, He also changed the car after 8 driving lesson that also made me start from the scratch in the new car and get acquainted to new car. Because of this they made me pay about six thousand extra DKK.
I passed my theory exam and driving exam in very first go even after all these problems. But want to tell you that if you are reading this and if this is happening with you need to raise your voice and change your driving school to somewhere else and make a complaint against the LZ driving school.
REMEMBER YOU ARE PAYING A LOT OF YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY TO THEM TO GET A GOOD DRIVING LEARNING EXPERIENCE AND NOT TO BE ABUSED BY THIS DRIVING SCHOOL.
They will always be going to say you that you need another 10-15 driving lessons and that the way they cheat young students. If you are one of the students and being treated like this you need to introspect yourself and may be get some feedback from other experienced person then these instructor.

I wrote the similar complain in email to the Loay Zeraiq the boss of the driving school about four months back and he never replied to me back.
I am filing a complaint against LZ driving school soon.
If you are also a victim of this driving school comment in the review and like the review below so others can see, and the related authority can take the action against this driving school and Ivan Rostrøm.

Super nice experience😍Ivan is the best teacher,maybe sometimes you can find him a little bit insistent and annoying but only until you accept that he is right and what he says it's for your own good and the most important advice:Don't take them personally!

It was a really good experience. Ivan is fantastic and makes learning fun! The lessons were very well planned and systematic with a lot of practise. Overall I had a delightful experience and I would definitely recommend!

I have just passed my driving test. All thanks to LZ especially Ivan for the guidance and support. His teaching style was exceptional. I was never in doubt if I made mistakes and I found it incredibly helpful and motivating to strive for the betterment of my driving skills.
His great sense of humor never fails to lighten up the theory lessons. He uses anecdotes in delivering teaching materials which for me is a great way to help me remember important details. I highly recommend LZ and Ivan especially to those seeking to exchange foreign driving licenses for a Danish one and wish it done in English.

High quality services and great teaching atmosphere. It has the perfect combination of professionalism and fun. It makes you wanna look forward to the next theory lesson. No teaching materials required, it's enough to go to the classes and make some tests online. Flexible with scheduling driving lessons and fast booking time for the exams. For non-danish speakers, the LZ staff speaks fluently english which is much appreciated.

I had the great pleasure to have Ivan Rostrøm as my teacher/instructor. Besides his endless teasing (which made the driving lessons so much more exiting) he treated me with kindness and respect and most of all with patience.

I highly recommend LZ køreskole, and especially Ivan (best teacher ever). He’ll tell you to exactly where your driving ability is and wouldn’t put you forward for the practical exam unless he is fully confident that you have what it takes to pass. Great learning experience overall as well as conversation during the lessons (which as you might guess in my case were in English). Would get my recommendation every time.

Ivan is really the best ! If you want the license in english or changeover or whatever just choose him. At the time of the test I had issues with the translator, he made a single call and made arrangements for the translator. There were never any problems or worries with the guy. He can make anyone pass 😉 amazing guy...

It is not easy to find good school when you do not have so many references and you are an international. But after having a bad experience in another driving school I finally found the best! I not only learnt how to drive in a safe way but I learnt how to love driving! Thanks to Ivan!!! Is there any national price for the best driving instructor in Denmark? I am sure Ivan can win it! With a lot of patience and happy to teach. So happy and so thankful with you guys! My classes with you were my best investemt. Mange tak!
