Fantastic business. I always use this road on my journeys south, great value for money. No potholes, no dead badgers, just smooth blacktop. The services are great as well, they don’t have that industrial feeling. Whilst there I spoke to Julie who gave me some great advice about the M6 toll lite, a perfect product.

I was forced into following a Diversion that took me onto the M6 Toll road, which I purposely didnt want to use and hadn't factored a £11.60 charge into my journey. I complained to M6 Toll and they just directed me to Highways etc. I just feel like Im being pushed around until I go away.

I am updating my review following further correspondence with the M6 Toll complaints team.
My original complaint related to the toll price display signs appearing blank when I entered the M6 Toll near Cannock. I believed it was important for drivers to be clearly informed of the charge before entering the toll road. Initially, my complaint was rejected, despite the possibility of a power issue affecting the signage being acknowledged.
After pursuing the matter further, the complaint was reviewed again. I was subsequently informed that some of the information previously provided to me was incorrect, and a full refund was approved. I was also advised that additional training would be provided to the staff involved regarding complaint handling and the management of the road.
While I remain disappointed that the issue was not resolved correctly at the first stage, I appreciate that the company took the time to review the matter thoroughly, acknowledged the error, and agreed to issue a refund. I also appreciate the apology that was provided.
For that reason, I have updated my review to reflect the final outcome and the action taken to resolve the complaint.

I have used the toll road from its inception, was it 1999? Anyhow, from travelling 1000's of mile a month, I now work from home no travel, the team at M6Toll have always been awesome, the road has given me very more time with my family xx and I would highly recommend 😊

Honest mistake of not removing an old vehicle registration from my account. As soon as I noticed I removed it. The old car only made one journey, but they refused a refund.

I was very disappointed to find out that after signing up on the Breeze account for 6 vehicles paying an initial £30 per vehicle, that despite the charges for the use of the tolls being subject to vat, I will not be able to get a vat receipt when the vehicles use the toll. Obviously we will receive a monthly statement showing the vehicle usage, but no vat receipt, so that I can claim back the vat.
I would never have signed up to a prepaid account if I had known. As in comparison, when my vehicles have used the M6 Toll and paid straight away, we can go on the website and pull off a vat receipt, so why cannot we obtain a vat receipt from the breeze account?
