Ed and team did a fantastic job converting our garage. We are very pleased with the result. We were staying in the house throughout but there was no mess. Communication was excellent. Even if there was a little delay due to various factors, we were sufficiently informed and put at ease. They even managed to procure the same flooring we have in the hallway to match and it now looks seamless. Highly recommend this very professional and friendly family business, and wouldn't hesitate to ask for their help again if I want any more work done in the house. Thank you again for the great work.

The team at Macaulay's were great from the start. Checking our old windows when we had an issue at Christmas to replacing our windows and doors. They allowed us to make changes and take our time deciding what we wanted. When it came to installation they were very accommodating with the date. On the days that they were here they arrived on time and treated our home with respect. They were incredibly tidy each day. We would recommend them. Thanks again for all your hard work and advice.

Chris and Mike removed our old front door and replaced it with a cracking Newark Rock Door in anthracite grey. We are now the envy of our neighbours!

We were delighted by all aspects of their service. From helping us choose the door that was right for us, to working at pace on its installation, we couldn’t have asked for more. The guys couldn’t have been more helpful and we wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again.

Choosing tradesmen can be a bit of a lottery. But Edward Macaulay Joiners were safe as houses.

We had Ed, Mike and Chris to replace our windows and doors as well as replace our internal doors, skirting and facings.
The install went as planned and installed to a very high standard.
Great to see a family firm installing high quality windows, doors, skirting and facings with great attention to detail.
Ed, Mike and Chris turned up when they said they would and the tidy up at the end of the day was treated with the same importance as the installation.
We have never had to call them back to fix anything and the products they installed are still looking good.

These guys were so quick and professional. They did a fantastic job and were very friendly. I would recommend them to anyone that needs work done. They fitted new windows and doors in one day.

We have used this company over the years for lots of different projects and have always been impressed by their attention to detail and the quality of their work. A real family business who obviously care about what they do. Over the years they've replaced a whole house set of windows and doors , built our conservatory then later the conversion to a sunroom and most recently replaced our kitchen. Highly recommended

Impressed with the working process with friendly and polite staff and solid working practices leaving our home clean and tidy at the end of each working day. Mike and the team fitted new front & back doors, windows and a new conservatory. They were always reliable, had competitive pricing, professional, and their work was first-rate.
Whenever we needed a slight adjustment or advice, they made themselves immediately available.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Great guys and fantastic service from start to finish.

Michael came over a few times to check we were sorted and knew what we wanted. Recommended a cheaper alternative than what we thought we needed.

We had them replace all our windows and they sorted us out with laminate flooring throughout our downstairs.

Couldn’t be happier with the end result

Just need to get them to do the rest of the house next!

Highly recommended. Won’t use anyone else

We booked Michael's company to do our Kitchen, bathrooms, wardrobes, knock down walls, rebuild walls, everything. We saw him in December and January, and everything was ok but then nothing. We booked a kitchen different from Michael's recomendation and he dropped us like a hot potatoe, took everyone with him, plumber, builder, electriction, plasterer everyone. He would not answer my calls, text messages, what'sapp nothing. In the end I had to ask a friend of his to contact him to call me. Only after contacting the firm did we get a reply. We have wasted weeks and months of him stringing us along, his cut from the kitchen people must have been a bloody good one, to drop a whole house being gutted and rebuilt. We now have to start from scratch. I would "NOT" recommend them to anyone.
As the saying goes, " what goes around comes around" I hope that is true, because you are a nasty piece off work

I would not hesitate to recommend Edward Macaulay joiners to carry out work for you. I had a great deal of work carried out by the guys. Mike and Gary were fantastic and came up with some great ideas. Very polite, professional and constantly cleaned up after them. Great company great competitive prices and a great team.

I've just had this company in to replace my windows and doors.
From the first contact with them through to the end of job they have been fantastic.
The email communication was clear and detailed keeping us informed of when the work would be quoted, then when it would be carried out, the name of the on-site contact, the number of vans to expect and so on.
They TURNED UP WHEN THEY SAID unlike a lot of other trades I've tried to get hold of recently.
The work was carried out on time and they cleaned up afterwards.
Very pleased with them and would recommend them to anyone.
